Dreamy Girl

Dreamy Girl
Part 6 Surprise Gifts

The graduation announcement is something that is awaited by all students, especially the XII class of Bangkit Jaya High School. Cheers of joy accompanied by the prostration of gratitude of some students coloring graduation announcements every year. Vita Maharani is no exception. A smile unfolded unceasingly he incised on his ripe lips. Gratitude does not stop echoing in every breath. This year was his toughest.

Although the school and police always give a warning so that there is no excessive graduation celebration let alone doodling clothes and convoys, children still do it. For them this should be celebrated with great fanfare because the days of High School are the most memorable.

“ Hey, Vit where are you going?” reprimand Pandu when he saw him sneak into the back of the hall building where the announcement took place.

“Sst!, do not be noisy” Vita whispered while gluing the tip of the index finger on her lips. I hope no one is listening to their conversation.

“ I go home first. I have a job at home.” He said again in a soft voice while holding his backpack on his shoulder.

“But the show is not finished” Pandu tried to hold Vita. Sayup-sayup from inside the hall was heard by the Chairman Mother Foundation to announce a scholarship for students who obtained the top five National Examination scores at the school. Vita deliberately went home sooner because there was a lot of work at home waiting for her. Moreover, his name is not included in the ranking of the top five results of the UN.

“Gak nothing” Vita passed

“Okey, be careful yes. And do not pass on Jalan Sudirman.”

“Why? Usually I go through it anyway, “ Vita frowning confused.

“Konvoi all schools will pass that road to Hasanuddin”

“Okey, thanks Pandu, I walk ya” Vita also passed and speed up his steps, he does not want to be stuck in traffic which of course will soon happen. He looked back at Pandu from afar. Pandu is his first friend at this school. His similarly stocky body made him quickly accept each other.

Almost an hour passed, Vita just arrived home after looking for alternative streets using his bicycle. Hoping not to cross paths with a convoy of high school boys celebrating graduation. His sweat soaked his gray white uniform that was still clean. He deliberately escaped faster so that his clothes were not exposed to graffiti. He wants to give this shirt to his rented neighbor's son who will soon enter High School. The condition of the girl's family was also as concerning as her.

“Assalamualaikum” he said greeting.

“waalaikumsalam” replied Gita from kitchen direction. The cramped rented house allowed him to hear sounds from outside.

“Where?”

“ Passed not?” ask while washing hands full of flour.

“Alhamdulillah Sis. Vita pass!” Vita rushed towards her brother who was still standing in front of the sink. Hugged it with a happy heart.

“You go to which University?”

“see later on Kak, fearing the cost is expensive” Vita looked down while twisting the tip of her white shirt.

“Pardon Vita Kak” He said slowly.

“Hey, what's up? Why apologize?” Gita grabbed his sister's shoulder.

“Value my exam less Kak, and can not get scholarship” There is a sense of disappointment in his tone. His brain is unreliable.

”I should have studied harder so that my grades would not disappoint”

“Hey, don't be sad so dong”

“Mother and father must be proud of you” Gita hugging Vita's body, her tears dripping. Sadness squeezed his own heart because all this time did not give Vita enough time to learn. They are busy working to meet their daily needs.

“Do not worry, dreams must be achieved. As long as we are still working, insyaAllah there will be a way” Gita to encourage while shrinking the clear circles that come out without permission.

“Spirit!” added Gita by clenching her hands in the air. Vita. Heart warms. Her brother turned into her parents now. To fulfill and accompany him to achieve his goals.

“Eat first there must be you hungry”

“Iya Kak, thanks” Vita kisses her brother's hand gently.

“What the heck, lebai” Gita so wrong behavior.

After eating and cleaning himself Vita also helped Gita make cake batters. Today's order was too much until the two of them were overwhelmed. Feeling hesitant to reject the incoming order, they ended up overtime without a break.

The next day, Vita is in charge of delivering cake packages. When learning was still active. He can shift the afternoon after school while Mas Tama can shift the morning. And after the School Exams where the time is more empty. He works all day or full day. They have not felt the need to use a courier because they have to save money.

Since Vita moved to this big city, she uses bicycles as a means of daily transportation both to go to school and deliver order cakes. Itung-itung as a way of saving and for health. With this habit, it even makes fat deposits in his fat-filled body slowly melt with his sweat every day. Healthy diet program he lakoni to get the ideal body of all women's dreams. With Gita doing light exercise such as gymnastics or dancing on the sidelines of their busy lives.

They are both Bolly Mania. Not infrequently they imitate the dance style in the Bollywood films they watch. For them dancing is the cheapest and fun recreation. By dancing the feeling of the heart will be happy and happy. Gita and Vita have a large collection of dance and aerobic gymnastics. They don't have enough money and time to visit the gym. At home alone, they both burn fat while waiting for the cake batter to ripen.

“Vit, here..” call Gita who is busy putting the pastries into a small container.

“Mas Tama there is a gift for you “, said Gita while handing over a large box wrapped in cute wrapping paper.

“What's Kak?” ask Vita curiously.

“Open aja..” Gita replied with a secretive smile. Vita opens with a thumping heart. Like a kid who gets his smile candy keeps flashing.

“Aaaaaaaaaaa” her voice shrill when she found out that the prize was an electric body scale. He immediately tried and jumped up happily. The needle on the scales points to the number fifty. Happiness was clearly imprinted on his face. All this time he was just busy going to school and peddling cakes made by his brother so they could survive in the middle of the hard life in the big city. He never realized that his body was a bit thin and even dropped dramatically.

Gita smiled happily. For a long time he realized the change of his sister's body but he wanted to surprise by giving a gift in the form of scales at the announcement of the graduation of his beloved sister. A gift that is far from expensive but so very valuable.

They embrace happily.

“Ehem” Mas Tama surprised the two brothers. They let go of hugs with smiles still stuck to their lips.

“The next gift is..eng ing eng” Mas Tama handed over a long white envelope. The curious Gita immediately grabbed the envelope.

“Mas..” Gita hugged her husband making Vita just scratch his head that does not itch.

“Where if we go home and menziarahi tomb of the same mother father” proposed Mas Tama.

“Okey, ready Mr boss!” Gita and Vita answered in unison. They laugh together too. It turned out that the contents of the envelope were commercial plane tickets for the three of them.

What is the most priceless gift for parents is to see children grow up well-rounded and grateful.
