CHAPTER 84: A DECISION

Not long after that, Made, Toni Adam, Nugroho and Jhon immediately hit Ilham, followed by Dilan, Sam, Vishnu and other players of the School of Health Nurses. They are really happy to win the game. Some even cried because of the happy event. Their struggle has not been in vain all this time. The sweat that flooded their shirts, the tiredness that almost made them faint was already meaningless after the referee's whistle sounded. 

"It's all because of Elo, Ham!" nugroho said gladly. "We're really lucky to get to know the elo as our friend and captain!"

"No! This is all because of the cooperation of all of us!" jhon said with a laugh. "If we hadn't trained hard before, we wouldn't have won! I am so grateful to everyone!"

Made nodded. "It's also because of Dilan. He's the one who helped us catch the score when Ilham got injured. I really didn't expect. Elo is a really great player, Dil!"

Dilan smiled. "Yes, equally. I'm sorry, guys. I was wrong to follow Fauzi Rizal's wish to destroy you. Turns out, you guys are very nice. I shouldn't have been so hard on you guys! I almost ruined everything!"

Little laughter heard it. He patted Dilan's shoulder slowly.

"That doesn't matter anymore, Dil. What matters is that we're friends now, okay? Problems that have passed let it be a lesson for all of us" said Toni Adam with a smile.

Dilan nodded, then shook Toni Adam's hand.

"Eh, but why didn't you say from the beginning that Inspiration was innocent all along? Jhon, you knew about this before I caught Dilan and Fauzi Rizal, right?" ask Nugroho curious.

Jhon laughing. He immediately grabbed Nugroho's head. "One time you, Nugroho!"

"Ouch!" nugroho said directly inflating his cheeks. "Gue just asked! If that time elo told us the truth, our conflict would have been over, you know!"

"Don't be too sure" said Jhon with a smile. "Wasn't that time you, Toni and Made were so insistent that Inspiration was at fault? Although the initial idea from me, but if I tell the truth when you are angry, you must be even more angry with me because I think I am making it up to save Inspiration. I'm right, right? Instead of making the atmosphere melt, it warms up." Jhon.

Instantly Nugroho, Toni Adam and Made heard the words of John. True, the three of them were indeed difficult to relieve emotions if it had exploded. Especially mixed with the disappointment that supported them.

"True as well" Nugroho said while scratching his nape in embarrassment.

"Oh, this is the Young Indonesian National Basketball Club Coach in Jakarta. His name is Mr. Rusli. Maybe you've heard of it" said Mr. Ridwan with a smile. "He's been watching you from the start of the tournament to the final because he wants to recruit some good basketball players for player selection."

"player selection?" ask Toni Adam interested.

"Yes, Indonesia Muda plans to form a new men's basketball team for next year's season competition. After I searched through the various schools that participated in this tournament, I had gotten several people in this tournament to enter the selection. And I'm interested in inviting you to the selection as well" Mr. Rusli said. "How's it?"

"Seriously?!" nugroho girang. He really couldn't believe what he had just heard. It feels like a dream to be able to enter the national basketball club selection.

"of course. So how, you guys want to?" ask Mr. Rusli again.

"Of course we want to!" said Made and Toni Adam compact. 

"Of course, Jhon!" dilan said nodding steadily.

"Ham?" ask Jhon.

Inspiration just smiles to respond to it.

"Fight with passion, friends. I'd be very proud to see you guys become national basketball players later."

"But, elo's coming, too, right?" ask Nugroho.

Unexpectedly, Ilham shook his head. "No, Nugroho. I'm not coming."

Everyone was immediately stunned to hear the decision of Ilham. All did not expect that Inspiration would reject him. Even after they promised and fought for their dreams the five of them. Go to the national league. 

"But, why, Ham?" jhon did not understand. "Didn't we have the same dream? The same dream? Why did you give up this opportunity?" Ask Jhon streak.

Inspiration smiles. He patted Jhon's shoulder. "Jhon, I asked you to be captain not without reason. And I've made my decision".

"What decision?" ask Nugroho curious.

"This game has been going on for a long time, guys. And I learned a lot of lessons. In addition to the struggle, I also realized that you guys are strong enough without me. And I decided that Jhon and Dilan could be the new White Team captains" Ilham said with a smile.

"WHAT?!" yell everyone's shocked.

"Ham, what do you mean by all this?" ask Mr. Ridwan in wonder.

"Sir, I've had a long journey in basketball. From my struggle to ask permission to stay with the world of basketball, fight against Fauzi Rizal, tournaments, and also know many people" said Ilham. "I realized, I've been troubling a lot of people all this time because of basketball. Especially Dad. So I decided to make basketball my hobby. For the profession, I'll help Dad get through his business and focus on his future profession as a Health Nurse." Clearly Inspiration.

"But... don't you feel affection, Ham?" tanya Made was still not satisfied. "Over this time the elo has fused with basketball. It'll be hard if you go through something you don't like."

Inspiration smiled, then he shook his head. "Gue's sure I can, De. This is all for my parents. Anyway, exams soon. I have to focus. Sometimes we need to let go of our desires. Even if we have different paths, I'm still your best friend, right?" Ilham.

Jhon, Made, Toni Adam and Nugroho sighed in disappointment.

"Then, Jhon, Made, Toni Adam, Nugroho and Dilan are coming?" ask Mr. Ridwan.

"But, guys..," said Jhon quietly, making everything turn towards him. "You know, I did after graduating from Health Nursing School. I'll continue college. So, I'm not going to practice anymore. It's okay, right?" Jhon.

"What?!" toni, Nugroho and Made were shocked. While the eyes of Inspiration grow.
