CHAPTER 8: THE FOSTER SISTER

Service work is a routine activity that is done in the dormitory which is carried out every Saturday morning and this is also part of the PPS (Introduction Study Program) School of Health Nurses Kotabumi, Lampung Utara and is a program to introduce dormitory activities, dormitory environment to new students in this dormitory.

This activity instills the value of caring for the environment in each occupant. Not only the cleanliness of the room is the focus of the dormitory residents, but also the overall dormitory environment and the surrounding community environment that must remain a priority in terms of hygiene.

This non-compulsory activity is mostly done eventually. Activities are carried out centrally or in each dormitory. These activities are usually arranged scheduled and start from the residents and based on the aspirations of the residents, so that residents voluntarily participate in this activity.

Many unique events beyond reason and mind in the implementation of socialization Introduction to Study Program (PPS). To get one signature sometimes has to take a long time because the conditions in getting the signature seem too excessive.

For example, two new students to get the signature of a senior class must do light tasks actually but made repeatedly. So the time should be used to get more than one signature so disturbed by the wishes of the senior more.
