Don't Be Afraid of Being Widows, We're Happy
Chapters 1. The facts revealed

I am currently in my car to come to my in-laws' house which is currently having a birthday party for my husband's nephew Mas Alvin.

They actually didn't invite me. I even learned of this event from a friend of mine who happened to be his son invited to the event.

Last afternoon when I was at my restaurant, I suddenly got a message on my phone from a friend who said about the birthday party.

[Amanda! Why aren't you at Mas Roni's house? Though here is being held the birthday of his son so festively.]

[Is it still the show?]

[Wants to start. Come here quickly, so we can meet. Otherwise you'll miss the show]

[All right I'm sliding right away]

I don't know why they didn't invite me to the birthday party. Yesterday Mas ALvin did ask me for money to be sent to his mother who he said was sick. I didn't ask him much, just directly transfer it.

I was so busy with my work at my parents' second heritage restaurant that I didn't have time to be suspicious of my husband's family.

I just transfer every time Mas ALvin always ask me for money for his mother, his sister or his brother every need financial assistance.

Sometimes I think that they think of me as a walking ATM. Though I know that they have not been very accepting of my existence on the side of Mas ALvin.

I don't know why I seem to love him so much and so afraid of losing him that I always obey everything he says.

Just as I was about to enter Brother Roni's house, I accidentally listened to their conversation in the side garden. From his voice like the voice of my mother-in-law and his wife Mas Roni who has always shown her dislike for me.

Mba Tyas is the sister-in-law of Mas ALvin who she said used to be a class when she was in college with my husband. I do not understand why the woman has always been a stove and tried to put my name in front of my mother-in-law.

"Don't you invite Amara to come to my son's show? I just don't want to, if I see him coming here later. It feels good to see her rich ass in front of all our families!" mba Tyas said with fiery eyes.

My heart dodged hearing what the woman had said. I don't know what I've done in the past that made her hate me so much.

"You don't worry Tyas! Mama didn't invite that barren woman into this house. Nor does she need her presence between us. Mama just needs money that we can use for fun and fun. Tyas, as long as Amara can still dredge the money, Mama won't tell Alvin to divorce her." Said my mother-in-law with a smile so happy to Mbak Tyas who immediately smiled when he heard her words.

"Yes, baby. If not from Amara the barren, from whom else? He's the only one who's always been the ATM in our family! Where do you think your mom got the money? You're just being around. My mom just doesn't work. Monthly money from Alvin is not that much, not at all enough even if only to go to the salon only. Alvin's second wife was very stingy and always forbade Alvin to send money to mama. Fortunately, he is not barren and can give a grandson to our family. Otherwise, Mama would have told Alvin to divorce her a long time ago. We need a lot of things during our life in the capital. Of course Mama always asked Alvin to take advantage of Amara's stupid kindness!" The two of them then laughed so happily as if they were laughing at this self that had only been used by all of them.

They are absolutely outrageous and have no conscience. They wanted my money to throw a fancy party for their son and granddaughter, but didn't want me to attend the birthday party. What a mess of my fate, right? It is only made into an ATM machine.

I'm trying to toughen up. Although this leg feels so shaky to hear all the words of the mother-in-law who turned out to only use me.

Since I did not want them to know that their rottenness was already known to me, I slowly left my in-laws' residence. I don't care about the messages that are continuously sent by my old friend who was telling me about the birthday of his son Kak Roni.

I immediately left the place and went to the beach to calm myself down who was currently in turmoil and harbored such great anger.

"I really didn't expect that they never really accepted me as part of them. Good Lord! What has been my fault and sin all this time?" my heart that felt so painful.

My heart still bleeds after knowing all the truth. I've been getting calls from Mas ALvin since then and messages from him.

[Where are you? Why haven't you sent money to Sassy yet? Honey, send it quickly. She called Mas and cried because she needed to pay for her college]

I then deactivated my phone while reading the message sent by my husband. Maybe if you don't listen to what my in-laws and Mba Tyas said earlier, I immediately replied to a message from the man who had been with me for more than 10 years and sent money to Mas Alvin's youngest brother.

Sassy is his brother Mas Alvin who until now still has not graduated also college. I don't know why the girl until now has not also earned her bachelor's degree. I myself was amazed by him.

Every month always undermines my finances with a flurry of activities on the campus that always requires a lot of money.

But now I no longer want to be their dairy cow and I am determined to try and fight to no longer be a stupid woman who always obeys everything Mas ALvin says.

After my thoughts calmed down, I finally decided to go home to my house in Bintaro. Because the body is so tired and the soul is in so much pain.

I want to avoid Mas Alvin for a while and be alone in a house I have not lived in for a long time. That house was the legacy of both my parents before they died.

But I was astonished when I came there to see such a bright light and there was Mas Alvin's car there.
