Part 43 Escape
Zack sits on a chair right next to Lana. Next to him is Bella who is busy chewing food without caring about Zack.
"Today I saw you talking to a forensic doctor in the police department! you know him?!" Zack whispered as he elbowed his twin brother's arm.
"I don't know!" bella replied in a whisper.
"What are you talking about, Zack, Bella?! why whisper like that?! while at the dinner table no one is allowed to whisper, it makes it uncomfortable" Daddy Lizard launched his protest on his two children.
"Yes, what are you talking about?mommy wants to know too" added mommy Lily.
"This is Zack's mom asking about the doctors at the police department....." Zack feeds a piece of meat into Bella's mouth to stop the girl from talking.
"Zack! you crazy?!"
Zack smiled as he turned his face to the food on the table.
"Ehm!" mr. Lizard Berdhm beckoned Bella to be quiet. Lady Lily didn't know about Zack's case yesterday.
Bella who just realized her mistake immediately fell silent glancing at Zack.
"Lana get me some food" said Zack, smiling sweetly at his wife.
Lana stood up to grab a steak and vegetables for Zack.
"Thank you dear"
"That's so good you want to try?" Zack feeds a little piece of steak into Lana's mouth.
Lana's heart pounded she didn't know after this Zack would be mad at her or not.
While the attention of Miss Lily was distracted by the affection of Zack and Lana, she forgot to ask about the police that Bella was talking about.
"Why are you here?! is Miss Lana Dupont on the run?!" zack said annoyed as he took off his shirt and threw it into the corner of the room.
Lana was just speechless looking down not daring to look at Zack.
"Why would you suddenly want to stay at Daddy's?!" Zack stepped forward to approach Lana who rewinded his steps until he hit the wall.
Lana was cornered she could only shake her head. Zack squeezed his body against the wall and stared intently at Lana.
"How long have you been out of the company? didn't I tell you you had to take over your father's company well? I don't have much time teaching you Lana!"
Zack thinks sooner or later Benedict will unravel who's behind Lana's father's death. Zack believes if that happens then his marriage to Lana will not be okay.
While Lana thinks that Zack doesn't have much time teaching her because he will soon divorce Lana.
"I don't want dad's company" Lana said, looking up at Zack.
"What did you say? after everything I've done right now, you said you didn't want the company?!"
Zack clenched his fists and hit the wall right next to Lana's face.The girl looked pale and shivered in fear.
Zack's sharp ears heard footsteps approaching their room. Zack glanced at the door of his room which he forgot to close.he hurriedly grabbed Lana's lips and kissed her affectionately.
"Oh sorry, we're bothering you" Mrs Lily and Mr. Lizard who had wanted to talk to Lana and Zack so disengaged their intentions as soon as they saw the indecent sight before them just now.
Zack kissed Lana's lips as if she wasn't awkward with Daddy and his mommy.
"Bas with the young!" lizard sir complained as he put his arm around Lady Lily's shoulder to return to their room.
