"Devan, wait!!"

Devan stopped his steps after he heard someone calling his name. Then he turned his head and found a woman walking up to him, her facial expression showing nothing, flat.

The woman who called out to him approached Devan with a big smile. "I happen to make lunch quite a lot, what if during the break we have lunch together?" the woman's words gave a suggestion.

"You find someone else, I'm so busy!!" he said and left, leaving the woman alone. And the woman could only stare at Devan's departure with a wounded look.

Lisa is a woman who comes from Devan's past, she is the handsome doctor's ex-lover. And Lisa has turned Devan into a cold and closed figure. Devan is so sincere to her, but her sincerity is even wasted by Lisa who always compares her to others.

Sean let go of the woman's embrace. Her fingers wiped away the tears that ran down Lisa's cheeks. "Don't cry anymore, your patient will be confused if you see a doctor as beautiful as you cry." Sean said a little jokingly.

Lisa smacked Sean's arm while whipping his lips. "Basan sucks, you could've taunted me at a time like this! Obviously I'm sad" Lisa said.

Sean chuckled at the expression, he amused himself to see the expression of the girl. "Sorry, I was just kidding. Smile, you look so beautiful when you smile." Said Sean while patting Lisa on the head.

Actually Sean secretly put his heart on Lisa for a long time he liked the woman. Even long before she came into contact with Devan, but Sean did not dare to say his feelings directly to Lisa because he only thought of her as an older brother. Sean decides to keep his feelings for Lisa.

Devan stops his steps when his black eyes accidentally see Jesslyn playing with special needs children in the park behind the hospital.

The girl is seen laughing with them, tickling, cradling, even pushing a wheelchair with a boy who has been suffering from a deadly disease since childhood.

But there was no answer from Devan, he did not respond at all to Sean's remarks. And without saying a word, Devan just left Sean. He hated it the most if anyone spoke a lot, let alone just to discuss unimportant things!!
