Divorced on the First Night

Divorced on the First Night
Relationship Ends

For two days Anha had locked herself in her room. Even though the door to his room he did not lock at all still the silent air was always encountered when the door was open.

Anha does not go to work because she is officially out of her job because that is what was decided if she married then she will become a housewife and resign from her job.

Sacrificing her already good work for a man who would later become her future husband but it turns out that their marriage is both void. He lost two things at once.

Anha hugged her roll tighter and she still slept in her bed.

Even these two days Hasan did not come to him at all. And Anha hoped that Hasan would come if his head was cold. Ana hopes Hasan tells her; it's okay, let's go through this all together.

But maybe the hope is too high. Anha drowned her face back on her bolster. Holding back so that Mama who may be in the family room does not hear her stuffed stuffing.

This kind of woman deserves to be treated like this. Anha was getting less confident with herself. He considers himself bad and inappropriate for anyone.

There was a sound from Anha's cell phone that sounded, Anha's hand moved to feel the white plains from her bed to retrieve her phone lying at the end of the bed.

Seen one notification coming in from whatsapp on the screen of his phone. Written name ‘sayang’ with red heart emoticons there. The name of the contact he once gave to Hasan.

Now, after two days. Hasan finally sent him a message.

Actually Anha did not want to read the message. Fearful. His heart is not ready. But the curiosity is so much. Finally, Anha's thumb scrolled through her phone key and opened whatsapp message from Hasan.

Anha's lips trembled, her clear feathers dripping down.

The message from Hasan was not much. Just two lines of sentences. But very tight in the chest.

There Hasan wrote;

Sorry, yes, An. I can't handle our relationship anymore.

May we be happy with each of our lives.

How could Anha not be sobbing reading those two sentences? Even Hasan had no good faith at all to explain it directly. Their relationship and the continuity of their marriage was decided from such a text message.

Their marriage was a little more. But everything is ready. The invitation was widespread.

Anha shook her head. He doesn't want this marriage to be broken. What do people say later? What about the air that has spread? Why did Hasan decide unilaterally.

Anha's finger hesitated to touch the phone image on her phone screen.

Should he beg Hasan this time and humble himself? It was possible that Hasan would think of himself again.

Anha finally contacted Hasan. Apologize and don't let this end.

It took a few seconds until the call was connected to Hasan. When the voice stopped, Anha spoke.

“Ha-hello.”

But there was no reply from Hasan at all. Anha stared back at the screen of her phone, who knew the call was not connected. But the numbers on the phone call continued to move, which meant that the call was connected to Hasan. Hasan said nothing.

“Halo...,” reset Anha back.

“Hasan. I... I don't want us to break up,” said Anha bitterly. Hasan just fell silent across there. He was leaning against the cold walls of his bedroom.

He was no less screwed up like Anha.

Hasan's free right hand, not holding the phone, closed his own eyes, which were heating up. Men when crying do close their eyes, while women usually close their mouths to hold a sob.

“Hasan.. answer me. I don't want us to separate. Sorry ak—” Anha's tone is missing at the end. Stuck in the throat because of sobbing.

Hasan stared at the screen of his phone. Then decide the call is one-sided. Maybe that was the last time he heard the voice of the woman he loved so much. But the damn sound was so sad.

Hasan remained in his stance. Although he is hypocritical there is still a lot of love in his heart that he leaves aside because his own ego is so big.

And, their relationship ended.
