Today Aji decided to stay in the city, he is still curious about a woman who is very similar to his late wife. After being traced, it turns out that the woman lives on the path of orchid number 120. Aji is more intensively looking for information about the woman named Ayesha.
He was just sitting in the car, right now he's not far from Alex's house. Shortly thereafter, a white Alphard came out. The man stared at the window intently, he did not blink at all before seeing who was in the car.
"It just so happened that Ayesha came out of the house and she was alone as well. I have to follow him," Aji said, then he started the car starter and started driving away.
A few minutes later, at a cafe. Aji is there, he can see Ayesha's car parked in that place. This was his chance to get close to the woman. For a moment Aji forgot his son and wife who were at home. Only two weeks of approach, now there will be a barrier for the families of Lusi and Aji.
Aji walks into the cafe, looking around for Ayesha's whereabouts. Not far from the entrance, he finally found the woman who was sitting alone while playing mobile phone. Aji resty the appearance, herself acting pretentious cool walking towards Ayesha aka Evi.
"Ehem, excuse me." said Aji when he was near Evi.
The woman looked over and frowned. "Yes, what's wrong?" the question is a little forget about Aji.
"May I sit here?"
Evi was surprised by the behavior of the foreign man. "For what? I mean, do we know each other? Then why do you want to sit here? I see, there are still many empty seats elsewhere" he said, looking at the empty seats.
"You forgot me?"
Again Evi's forehead creased.
"I'm Aji, we met last night at your sister's company."
Evi fell silent, she recalled the events yesterday. Alex introduced him to a lot of people and of course he forgot. But, Aji's name was very familiar to her ears.
"You still don't remember?"
"Aji," Evi immediately smiled. "Geez, I'm sorry if I forgot about you. So many people I met that I couldn't remember them one by one." he continued, patting his forehead.
"All right, no problem. Then can I sit here?"
"Yes, of course. Go ahead, I happen to be alone." Evi smiled sweetly, a smile that Aji liked very much.
Aji started to sit down on the chair, she tied her hands together and looked at Evi deeply.
The conscious Evi immediately rebuked. "Is there something wrong with me?" he felt his whole face.
"You are so beautiful" said Aji making Evi blush in embarrassment.
"Ev—, Ayesha." Aji quickly corrects the call, she forgets that the woman in front of her right now is not Evi but Ayesha.
Evi raised both eyebrows asking what was the matter.
"Your face reminds me of someone."
"really? Who?"
"She is gone, the woman I love so much and now she is happy with God."
As Evi's smile receded, she grieved over the passing of that person.
"Is she your wife?"
Aji nodded. "Sadly he left me very quickly."
"May I know what his name is? I'm so sorry."
"thank you. Her name is Evi, she looks a lot like you. His face, his smile, his speech, and the way he looked at her." explained Aji at length.
Somehow Evi's name is familiar to his ears, he seemed to need to remember something but it was difficult.
"You don't have to be sad, I'm sure one day you'll get a woman like her. It may not be exactly the same, but it could be as good as your wife's house."
"I wish that woman was you."
Evi almost choked on her own saliva, she was shocked by what Aji said just now. "What did you say?" he shook his head.
"Maybe we can approach after this. To be honest, it's very hard to forget my wife's late home, she's special in my heart, and it won't change. But, when I see you somehow I feel comfortable and calm." said Aji completely forgot about Lusi.
Evi fell silent, their gazes clashing against each other. Evi was honestly comfortable being near Aji, she was confused why this feeling suddenly appeared after meeting the man. They first met yesterday afternoon.
