Dilemma (Between Friends and Love)

Tonight I will be staying up late to finish my work, hoping to be done by the end of the month. So that I can immediately go home and see Mom and Dad.

It's been almost three hours I've been struggling with my laptop, but my work is still not done.

Drowsiness has begun to attack, but I still force awake so that the work is quickly completed. Huh, but my eyes really feel heavy.

I can't be outdone by this sleepiness, I get out of my seat and go to the kitchen to make coffee. After I finished making coffee, I went straight to my work room again while sipping the coffee I made.

Long time I struggled with the laptop, until I fell asleep in the workspace.

Half an hour later my phone alarm went off, I opened my phone and saw the clock showing at 6 am.

I nodded and immediately got out of my seat. I walked to the bathroom staggering because my head was so heavy.

After taking a shower and getting ready, I turned on the car and drove straight to the store. And I missed my breakfast.

Working on an empty stomach makes me so unfocused, I have repeated several times counting expenses and income today because it is always miscalculated.

I'm sure it's not just because I don't eat breakfast, but because I stay up all night. My head really feels heavy, my body is also very weak.

I have to be strong because there is still a lot of work to be done. I also had an appointment today with some clients.

But as I moved and walked out of my study, my eyes suddenly twitched. Everything went dark, all I remember was the screams of my servants.

I felt a hand twitching my leg, then gently rubbed my hand.

"Where, Al. Madam's conscious yet?" I heard the voice of my officer Andin.

"Not conscious, ma'am. Do we call the doctor?" Aldo's voice sounded worried.

Before long, I heard footsteps approaching. "It's Al, warm water for the mistress. You help the lady drink yes, wake up later."

"Where are you going?"

"I want to get back to work, I still have a lot to do." The answer.

"But this is mistress how?" Ask Aldo to be confused.

"You're the one who accompanied me, Al. You see, I still have a lot of work, I have to pursue sales targets this month." Pass away.

I heard Aldo take a deep breath. Hahaha, this is so funny. Even though I didn't see her, I could feel that she was nervous.

"Why is the madam unconscious? I think I should call the doctor."

A few minutes later, Aldo came with two packs of Padang rice as I ordered.

"It's two packs of rice paddies, madam."

I took one packet of Padang rice, and gave another packet to Aldo. He seemed to see a pack of Padang rice that I gave him in confusion.

"Eat here with me."

His face turned surprised. "W-what? But madam."

"It's an order!" My firm.

Aldo immediately nodded and opened the Padang rice package, then ate it greedily. Ah…. We are now eating both, it feels happy at the same time deg-degan.

"Aldo, how old are you?" Ask me to try to open the conversation.

"I'm 26 years old, ma'am." The answer.

"Then you're a year older than me." He looks polite. "I like your diligence and your work spirit, you are diligent and hardworking. It amazes me."

Finished work at the store, and conduct meetings with clients. I drove my car straight to the cafe where Kanaya and I had agreed to meet.

"Yes, thank you for taking the time to meet me."

For almost two hours we talked together, from talking about trivial things to talking about work.

"What about your electronics store?" Ask Kanaya.

"I am grateful that my efforts are growing. You, what about your boutique? It must be growing." My word was followed by laughter by Kanaya.

"Yes, I'm grateful that the business we started is growing. And may our efforts grow and succeed."

Talking to my best friend Kanaya never seems to bore me, because she was always good at making conversation materials.

And he now says goodbye to me.
