Detective Haezel

Detective Haezel
THRASH

Haezel held Mayra close his eyes, and tried to forget whatever happened that night Haezel just passed.

Nah!

Nothing happened between Haezel and Cheryl!

Haezel continued to chant the sentence in his heart and tried to convince himself that nothing had happened between him and Cheryl last night.

"You shouldn't have come to this place!"

"Reynold is trying to set you up and he's trying to ruin your career."

Haezel reopened his eyes, as suddenly two sentences were ringing in his head.

"Ezel, if later...."

Cheryl's unfinished sentence during their last meeting in the hospital also returns to Haezel's memory.

Could Cheryl know something?

Then last night when Haezel saw the woman pacing around the cafe, was it possible that Cheryl wanted to tell Haezel something?

"Mas," called Mayra who immediately broke Haezel's daydream.

"Yes, Honey!" Haezel kissed the top of Mayra's head.

"New home? Mas Ezel's hand was cold, "Mayra turned around and looked at Haezel's face for a moment, then rubbed the face.

"Yes. It was cold outside" Haezel replied, clasping Mayra's hand.

"May just dreamed something, Mas," said Mayra who immediately made Haezel stop kissing his wife's hand. Haezel instead looked at Mayra's face.

"What dream?"

"A beautiful dream." Mayra reviewed the smile on her lips as if the dream that had just approached her was truly a very beautiful dream.

"Tell me!" Haezel's words were full of enthusiasm.

"May wore a beautiful wedding dress in the dream, Mas! Then May stood on a beautiful island. On the beach where the sea is so blue," Mayra's eyes look so sparkling when telling Haezel.

"But Mayra did not understand why Mas Ezel was invisible in Mayra's dream" Mayra continued, laughing.

"You want to take a vacation to a beautiful island?" Tawar Haezel suddenly made Mayra look at her husband.

"could that? Hasn't Mas Ezel been busy lately?" Mayra asked doubtfully

"Can!" Haezel kissed Mayra's forehead and convinced her.

"Later I will arrange it," continued Haezel again.

Mayra made no comment and immediately stuck her head in Haezel's chest, clasping Haezel's hand tightly.

"Ezel, if later...."

"Cheryl!"

"What's up, May?"

"It's okay, Mom! Let's go!"

The excitement in the hospital parking lot suddenly returned to dancing in Haezel's mind, when Haezel felt the grip of Mayra's hand. About Mayra who looks scared when she hears Reynold's voice.

"Mas," muttered Mayra who immediately made Haezel's daydream re-creased.

"What's up, honey?"

"Mas remembers this afternoon when we were in the hospital yard and then Mas Ezel met"

"Cheryl and Reynold!" Haezel cuts while continuing Mayra's sentence.

"Reynolds?" Mayra muttered and remembered something.

"What's wrong? You ever see Reynolds somewhere?" Haezel asked a little fishing.

Mayra nodded doubtfully. And Haezel's speculation about Reynolds who may have been involved in Mayra's rape case suddenly returned to a dead end.

"But Mayra knew his voice," said Mayra again which immediately made Haezel look seriously at the wife. Haezel was just about to ask Mayra about it, but now Haezel's wife has told her about it.

"You know and have heard his voice? Where's?" Cecar Haezel while cupping the face of Mayra who is now looking at Haezel with a frightened look. Haezel suddenly felt guilty because Haezel's question might make Mayra again remember the plagues that had befallen her

"All right, it's okay. Maybe you can tell it next time," said Haezel finally who did not want to make the trauma in Mayra back up.

"He who gives men drinks and money" Mayra did not continue her sentence and the woman immediately hid in Haezel's arms.

But one sentence that Mayra just said, as if to be a bright spot.

"May still remembers his voice, Mom! Although Mayra was half conscious at the time," Mayra's great-grandson who still hid her face in Haezel's arms was now immediately occupied with her thoughts.

At the same time, Haezel's phone still in his pants pocket suddenly vibrated indicating that a phone was coming in.

"Hello!" Sapa Haezel to one of her co-workers.

"Ezel, Randu had an accident last night."

"What?"

****

Haezel rushed down the aisle of the hospital, and there were several policemen standing guard in front of the treatment room.

"Good morning, Mr. Ezel!" The policemen greeted Haezel, who nodded his head. Haezel directly opened the door of the treatment room and went inside. There was already the Chief inside who immediately threw a questionable look at Haezel.

"Morning, Chief!" Haezel's greeting to his superior.

"Where did you just come from?" Ask the next Chief still while crossing.

"From home, sir!"

"Last night finished my reconnaissance straight home and rested," Haezel explained and the Chief nodded immediately.

"What time's it?" Ask the Chief again.

"Near midnight," replied Haezel a little composing. Haezel also does not know for sure, what time he left the club last night with Cheryl.

Damnit damnit!

Stop thinking about Cheryl, Ezel!

"You came straight home from the club? Or do you go to one place first?" Asked the Chief again who had approached Haezel and how to ask like he was interrogating Haezel.

"I-I'm going straight home, sir!" Haezel replied stammering.

"Sleep after you get home?" Ask the head again.

"Yes!" Haezel replied quickly. Even though the man was lying.

The Chief finally nodded and looked confident. Haezel breathed a little.

"Randu had an accident last night on his way to the club" the Chief explained again before Haezel raised questions.

"I called you last night. But you didn't pick up the phone. Maybe like you said, you've slept well and not heard the phone"

"Mobile I happen to be silent since last night, sir! I forgot to open it" Haezel reasoned.

"Yes! I getcha!"

"Isn't that human?" Chief chuckled and patted Haezel on the back before the middle-aged man yawned because he was probably sleepy.

"I go home first" said the Chief finally and Haezel just nodded. Haezel escorted the Chief to the door of the treatment room, before then he went back inside and approached Randu who was apparently awake.

"You awake?"

"Since then," replied Randu grimacing. Unlike Haezel who actually frowned.

"The Chief's gone, right?" Ask the next Randu.

"Yes, already!"

"How's the story you got into an accident"

"My car brakes suddenly blong!" Reply to Randu before Haezel completes his question. Haezel's best friend grimaced again and Haezel rushed to arrange a treatment bed so that Randu's position could be half lying down.

"Where were you before?" Haezel asked again full of questions.

"From office! I was overtime working on the report, and then Chief called me and told me to do some reconnaissance at the club that night. The Chief also told me to invite you," said Randu told the chronology of the incident last night.

"So you mean, that lead you said last night"

"From Mr. Chief!" Sergeah Randu fast.

"Isn't this weird? It was clear who handled this case that we were both from the beginning. Then why is it that now the Chief is following along looking for clues as well and seems to interfere." Said Randu again began to guess.

"The Chief's attitude has also been strange lately" Haezel argued.

"Just right! And that's since the Mayra case! Isn't this weird?" Muttered Randu who began to think while continuing to guess.

"By the way about Mayra's case, I just got some new information from Mayra" Haezel changed the conversation.

"What info?" Tanya Randu enthusiastically.

"Yesterday when I drove Mayra to check on her, I met Reynold by accident. And Mayra's attitude turns weird when she hears Reynold-"

"Mayra recognized Reynolds voice?" Guess Randu interrupted, and Haezel immediately sighed.

"When I asked, Mayra said that Reynold's voice was similar"

"No, Mayra's word is not the same as it is, but the voice of the man who paid the bastards." Haezel is obviously at length.

"What does that mean that there was indeed a mastermind behind Mayra's rape case yesterday?"

"I told you that." Haezel reminded Randu who immediately grimaced because it seemed like the man realized his mistake yesterday.

"But we don't have hard evidence to accuse Reynold! The perpetrators are also no one to claim who paid them." Said Randu back pessimistic.

"Mayra's testimony won't be enough because she only hears voices and doesn't see Reynolds directly."

"Mayra said, Reynold also gave them a drink," Haezel gave another clue to Randu.

"There's definitely a trace of Reynold in the CPI even though it's small, Randu!" Haezel said again full of confidence.

"Unfortunately I can't help you looking for the scene" Randu said as he stared at his own leg wrapped in a cast.

"I'll be looking for it myself" Haezel said determinedly.
