Detective Haezel

Detective Haezel
MAYRA WHERE?

Haezel arrived in front of the campus, thirty minutes later than he should have. The man went straight to the place, where Mayra used to wait for an invitation. But Mayra wasn't there!

"Where's mayra?" Mumbled Haezel asking himself.

Haezel immediately opened his phone and tried to contact Mayra's phone.

Cell phone is inactive!

Even Haezel's last message has not been opened and read by Mayra.

Where's Mayra?

"Hello, Mi!" Haezel chooses to call Mami Emily, hoping that Mayra will return home first by taxi.

"What's up, Ezel?"

"Mayra's home, Mi?" Ask Haezel to the point.

"Mayra hasn't arrived home yet. Don't you usually pick up Mayra?"

"Yes, this is Ezel in front of campus. But Mayra doesn't exist." Haezel on Mami Emily.

"Have you searched the campus? Maybe there's still class?"

"The phone is inactive. But Ezel will look inside first!" Haezel said before hanging up. After parking the car properly, Haezel rushed inside the campus to look for Mayra.

****

The sun was almost setting as Haezel walked out of the campus empty-handed. Mayra is nowhere and the class has finished since then.

Where is Mayra then?

Haezel's phone rang again in the middle of the man's death who never found Mayra.

"Hello, Mi! Mayra's home yet?" Haezel asked expectantly.

"You haven't found Mayra?" Emily's mother asked Haezel.

"Ezel has surrounded the campus and Mayra is not around!" Haezel spread her gaze around the park, where Mayra used to wait for an invitation. Haezel still hopes there is a CCTV there that might be able to give Mayra instructions where to go?

But there's nothing!

Haezel was frustrated and when the man accidentally threw his gaze into the bushes, he saw a familiar bag....

"Isn't that?" Haezel muttered and immediately approached the bag that seemed to be deliberately thrown into the bushes.

"Ezel! What was? Did you find anything?" Ask Mami Emily who is still connected via phone with Haezel.

"Ezel found Mayra's bag, Mi!" Said Haezel who immediately checked his wife's bag. Just a few books. Mayra's wallet and cell phone weren't there!

"Ezel hang up the phone first!" Haezel's lightning-quick ending Mami Emily's phone call. Haezel instead called Randu.

"Huh-h"

"Randu, are you still in the office?" Haezel asked before Randu finished saying the word hello.

"Yes! I just got to go home."

"Don't go home yet! I need you to check the last location of Mayra's phone!" Haezel said hurriedly as he got into his car.

"Mayra's phone is missing?"

"Mayra is missing!" Haezel replied, mentioning Mayra's mobile number.

"How can you?"

"I don't know either! I was just a little late and I was late to pick up Mayra. But he's always waiting for me!" Haezel Stories.

"I got his last location!"

"Where?" Haezel asked impatiently.

"Around the campus. Then the phone is off again."

"My last message is still being sent. Just haven't opened and read!" Haezel gave me information.

"Yes! It looks like it's still on campus. Then the phone was turned off when Mayra or whoever was carrying Mayra's phone left the campus!"

"Have you checked the CCTV?"

"There's no CCTV around here. I was looking for that." Haezel answered while putting on her own hair.

"At the campus gate? There isn't one either? Mayra used to wait for you where is she?"

"In the garden some distance from the main gate." Haezel answered more quietly, when there was a phone call from Mami Emily who went back to her phone.

"You're still on campus? I'll follow you there! Maybe we can find a clue."

"I'm going there now!"

The call from Randu was cut off. Haezel instead picked up the phone from Mami Emily.

"Mi!"

"Have you any info, Ezel?"

"Still dead-end, Mi!" Haezel answered, circling his gaze around the park, hoping that Mayra would just leave for a little while and come back.

"Where are you now?"

"Still near the campus," replied Haezel.

"Go home first! We'll find Mayra together!"

"Ezel will be here first and look for clues with Randu." Reject Haezel while staring at Mayra's bag.

"All right! Let me know if there's any news!"

"Yes, Mi!" Haezel replied in a lethargic tone along with the disconnected phone.

Haezel stared at the park bench where Mayra used to sit waiting for him. There's a mango juice spill under the bench. Haezel immediately approached the bench, then crouched down to check. The man was silent and thought for a while.

Could this be Mayra's?

"Ezel's!" Call the newly arrived Randu and head straight for Haezel.

"What's wrong? Did you find anything?" Tanya Randu who had been crouching beside Randu, then sniffed the mango juice spill under the park bench.

"Mango juice," murmured Randu.

"Well you like mango juice?" Ask Randu again to Haezel.

"He loves all fruit juices and always tries them all" Haezel replied, turning on a flashlight on his phone, then tapping the sidewalk to look for any traces of mango juice that might be a clue.

"Is something?" Asked Randu who continued to follow Haezel's steps.

"There's nothing!" Haezel replied softly, who did not find anything

"There was only Mayra's bag that fell on the bushes behind the park bench," Haezel continued as he leaned his chin towards the car.

Randu immediately retrieved Mayra's bag from inside the car and checked it with details.

"Is there anything missing from the bag?" Ask Randu again.

"Wallets and cell phones don't exist" Haezel replied.

Randu left Haezel, walked down the sidewalk a few meters and checked the trash can he was passing through, when then the man shouted at Haezel.

"Ezel! I found Mayra's wallet!" Randu exclaimed at Haezel who immediately ran over to his partner.

Randu is seen directing the flash on his phone to a trash can.

"That's his wallet?" Tanya Randu made sure once more.

"Yes!"

"Wear this!" Randu drops a glove on Haezel, and Haezel inserts Mayra's wallet into a pocket of evidence that is also carried by Randu.

"You can check his fingerprints at the office tonight?" Haezel asked expectantly.

"Yes!" Randu took the pouch containing Mayra's wallet from Haezel's hand.

"Later to report the results. Where are you going then?" Ask Randu before the man gets into his car.

"I'll stay here!" Haezel answered withholding immortality in his heart.

"Mayra must be fine!" Randu patted Haezel on the back and gave his best friend some encouragement before leaving.

"Yes!" Haezel said she still hoped that Mayra was not actually kidnapped, even though all the clues led to it.

Where are you, Mayra?
