DEMON LORDS

DEMON LORDS
Anger Kaneth

"Superficial...." He looked at the soldiers lined up on the border who were not moving at all, while the magicians behind them continued to read the magic book in their hands with great focus, some others were drawing magic circles.

Zovarein went down directly in front of the humans with barrier magic so that no one could see it.

"The king asks us to take care of these witches, do not lose your vigilance or my sword will directly point at each of you're neck even if only one person is off guard!" Snapped the Commander while thrusting his sword towards the troops.

"Ready Commander!" Shouted them simultaneously.

Zovarein ignored the troops and immediately walked to the rear to see the group of witches.

The dark green book of bloodstains, from afar did look like decoration only but if from up close it was real blood and every book they held, the position of the blood was different.

The magic circle with the cursed energy as its support and the dark magic ash as its fuel made Zovarein frown upon seeing this.

"The curse magic, so apparently, this stupid King wants to instill a curse in the Devil's territory" muttered Zovarein observing the book and the shape of the magic circle used by the witches.

'Tick..'

Zovarein snapped his finger and immediately the magic circle that had been painstakingly drawn by the witches vanished like it had never been there.

The magicians who saw his magic circle disappear instantly rounded their eyes with their mouths wide open, they continued to rub the ground where they were drawing just now but no one found the traces of magic dust they had sown earlier.

"No way! What's going on!?!" Shouted the leader of the witches.

"Senior where were all the magic circles?!"

"There's no way the wind would wipe out that magic dust!"

"Senior!"

The witches began to panic and continued to search for the remains of the images they had painted but could not find anything below

The soldier who witnessed this was also shocked, they were sure some time ago that the witches were sowing some sort of black ash to draw a magic circle but in an instant upon hearing the witches' complaints all the magic circles disappeared.

"Senior how is this, there is no magic dust left to repeat again from the beginning!" Complain of a tier 5 Magician while looking seriously at the tier 7 Magician he called senior earlier.

While not far from them, Zovarein only chuckled at the reactions of the witches.

"" Zovarein summoned his weakest contract animal with Summoning magic.

Bruck.. Duar!!!...

The earth rat that was 14 times larger than an ordinary rat straight out from the ground, with his red eyes he stared sinisterly at the humans before him making the commander of the army and his subordinates creep.

"Hey..you guys form a formation there is no time to panic!" Shouted the Commander to resuscitate the soldiers from the panic.

"All right!!"

In an instant they all instantly marched in a formation surrounding the giant Rat with an army of spears in front and archers in the middle along with the witches in the back.

Zovarein who witnessed this was quite amazed "It is unfortunate that great humans like them are ruled by foolish Kings" he thought.

"Pull bow!"

Craakk..... The sound of bowstring pulled the rearguard troops.

while the witches prepared an elemental attack and destructive magic, within seconds of the rat's move, the commander quickly ordered them to attack.

Hundreds of arrows floated and stuck in the body of the mouse, the next second the magic of the witches in the back row immediately shot and hit the target.

Duars!!! There was a very loud explosion when the destructive magic hit the rat's body.

Whiiickkk!!!

The rat screamed as the last magic that had a strong enough attack power touched its skin, the soldiers and magicians who heard it instantly felt victory in their hearts.

"Pull bow!! Prepare Magic!" Shouted the Commander once more and was obeyed by his subordinates.

Behind the smoke as the shadow of the giant rat was faintly seen the commander immediately ordered them to attack.

The slup!...

Dozens of hundreds of arrows pierced through the thick skin of the rat slightly deeply, had not had time to shout some magic directly shot towards the rat in a row until a very loud explosion occurred many times until the sound of rat screams was heard again.

This time his voice sounded so loud that it grew weaker that it finally did not sound at all.

"We won?" Asked an archer with a happy expression.

"Of course we won!!! Whoo!!" Their cheers together, if they knew that Zovarein was calling and asking the rats to come back to the ground maybe their expression would be very ugly.

"Not bad, as expected common people are higher in potential than arrogant nobles"

Zovarein read what the commander thought so he could draw such a conclusion, "Well, even if he won, then the higher-ups and the king would be very angry because the mission failed" The commander complained in his heart.

["Kaneth I want you to go to the border right now"] Zovarein said in a message of magic.

Kaneth, who had been in the Hell Palace and wanted to return to Azhesia, was suddenly startled by the message.

A few minutes passed and the human troops before Zovarein were currently resting to recover power, Kaneth from a distance could see it frowning.

"Why are there troops on the border?" His words in the heart.

Without wasting any more time he immediately shot towards the troops using light steps and within a few minutes he had arrived before the troops.

"Hey.. What are you doing here?" Kaneth asked regardless of the reaction of the soldiers staring at her.

"Gentlemen Heroes!.. It is such an honor to meet you!" The commander stood up from his position and immediately knelt down.

"Answer question!" Kaneth ignored the commander because he was already on the verge of his anger.

"That-that's.."

Kaneth gets even more angry when the question goes unanswered "What Father ordered you to do this?" Kaneth asked with sharp eyes.

The commander was still hesitant to answer the question before he strengthened his resolve.

"Truly the prince, his majesty and the higher-ups ordered us to guard these witches while setting up magic spells, but we didn't know what magic to use because it was only told to guard them!"

Kaneth changed her gaze and instantly tore through the space with her magic "Good work, I'm glad you didn't lie to me" she said before entering the space crack before her.

In the instant that Kaneth disappeared from their sight the soldiers were able to breathe with relief, previously due to the pressure from Kaneth's sacred elements, they cannot breathe properly until moving the body is very difficult.

What else the commander who immediately fell and sat limp on the ground after experiencing things just now.

"Huh.why is he in such a hurry, when I want to say hello to him just now" said the man who did not remember that he had previously done the same to Kaneth.

["Dad.. All living beings in Delsgade have been transferred to my palace"] Report Elgard by Telepathy while looking at his palace which has been filled with living beings.

["Good work, wait for me there in a few minutes because my business is still not done here"] Reply Zovarein closed the telepathy.
