EIGHT

The sky was already dark when Delena and her two companions would close the class for the last time in the year. Yep, that means tomorrow until the next two weeks is a long vacation for them and all the students there. Despite the heavy rain, the smiles of the three could not fade and they hugged each other for a while. “Awas not kangen ya!” sara is the oldest teacher among them. Delena and Laila laughed and exclaimed “gak will!” simultaneously. 

“Del, bring an umbrella ga?” this time Sarah asked seriously considering that the other junior had been caught playing in the rain even though he was already two heads! Delena shook her head, still smiling. “I can borrow a class umbrella. Don't worry, okay? I know myself I don't get sick easily. Gamau disease datengin people as good as me.”

Sarah and Laila just shook their heads at the behavior of their only single colleague. They are even more upset why Delena did not get married just so that her life is not lonely very?

“Yaudah, Miss Del, I was with Miss Sarah first yes.” Laila hugged Delena once more after she saw her husband and husband Sarah were waiting in the parking area. Delena nodded, took one umbrella in the corner of the waiting room before deciding to go home on foot that night.

In the past they often walked together in the rain while holding hands like in the movies. Joshua who knew Delena loved the rain would happily accompany the girl until Delena shivered in the cold. “I will be with you until we are both wrinkled,” said the man while smiling innocently. Delena remembered once she met red at the time. She felt like Joshua had just proposed to her and she was the happiest woman in the world. Delena shook her head which suddenly became dizzy. He paused for a while and squatted down hoping the discomfort would soon disappear. But after waiting for a few minutes, the world before him became increasingly revolving and he lost consciousness just like that.

A blinding light made the slumbering woman blink before gaining her consciousness. He looked around him who looked familiar but a little strange. Delena knows this room but this isn't her room!

Then the appearance of a man from behind the bathroom door answered his confusion. Nah! Delena nearly dropped her eyeballs when she realized she had just woken up in a man's room. And it was Gavin, without wearing any clothes, just a towel wrapped around half his body part standing before him.

“Gosh. I forgot you were there!” said the man who went straight back inside the bathroom door.

“Del! I forgot to bring clothes. You close your eyes until I say yes. Don't you dare to look!” Gavin shouted from inside.

Delena who was still confused only answered yes a little loudly.

Then, 2 minutes.

5 mins.

6 minutes.

10 mins.

Silent.

Not knowing in what minute after waiting for a long time, Delena felt Gavin was too long just to pick up a shirt and put it on. The girl snatched and thought that the man might be pranking her. And there's no way Delena's gonna keep her eyes out all day?

Slowly the girl opened her eyes. He screamed when he met Gavin's face just inches from his face. The man was also briefly shocked, more so because of Delena's sudden scream.

“You are beautiful,” said Gavin slowly. Delena heard that because their distance was still close even though it was not as close as before. Then he saw the man's eyes, Gavin did not look him in the eyes.

He stared...my lips?

Delena ventured back at the alluring male gaze in front of her. The charm later, the more important thing was the fact that he woke up in the man's room!

“It drink first.” Gavin gently thrust the glass filled with mineral water that was previously on the nightstand. Delena immediately downed him after realizing she was really thirsty.

“Thank God the heat has gone down. Last night you were so hot,” said Gavin, his hand checking Delena's body temperature right on the forehead.

Delena glared while the man chuckled. Holy hooch!

“Seriously I don't think why did you sleep on the street, Del? And I think my handsome back can hunch down after lifting your heavy body.”.

“Gak-funny-Gavin.”

“What? I told you I was serious.”

“I want to go home.” Delena's up. Unknowingly already held water in his eye sinks. Don't know, maybe her period is coming. He became very sensitive.

Gavin quickly catches Delena's arm, unknowingly pulling her too hard until the girl's body hits him.

“I stayed up all night compress you. How are you feeling now? Does anyone hurt?” Gavin wrapped his arms around the girl's waist as Delena was about to get back up.

Gavin let go of his arms and they both fell silent in the middle of the bed awkwardly.

And last night you slept alone in this room if you want to know.” Gavin hurriedly explained after seeing the horror expression of Delena who had just noticed her clothes. He didn't really lie, just the second sentence he didn't go on or Delena would misunderstand. Gavin did not sleep in the room because he could not sleep all night.

He was worried about Delena.

“Well, you must be hungry. Come eat.”

This time Delena just according to when Gavin gently pulled her hand. They walk side by side with Gavin who does not want to let go of his hand. “My brother and his wife are off so they took the kids this morning. The girl tried to pull her hand, but Gavin did not want Delena to grab it until they arrived at the table.

The dining room is directly connected to the kitchen, quite spacious but feels comfortable. On the table in front of Delena were two rice dishes with omelets on them and two glasses of fresh orange juice.

“You made it?” delena looked at the man before her. Both of them had sat facing each other and Delena only realized she was starving at the time.

“B.not. Lovely Mbak made this before leaving.”

Delena nodded while saying “Oh” quietly. He bribed a spoonful of breakfast and accidentally caught Gavin's wet, avoiding his gaze.

“I have to thank you and say that this is really good.”

“Let me say. I've spit abisin!”
