Some people have secrets that they want to keep in meetings. A dark secret that no one wants to know. And sometimes because of the secret, it will make them pressed on the endless languish. The seven of them, the students and students who are still sitting in the high school, they have it, and it may have something to do with Tiara's death.
It rained again that afternoon in the town of Shadowfalls. Nearly half the population gathered in a parade amid the frenzy of grief. Wearing black clothes with fingers holding umbrellas. Last night there was a stir when the lifeless body of a woman who was still sitting in the final grade of high school was found near the forest. Perhaps this was not the first death in the Shadowfalls, but this was the first killing after all these years ago. Shadowfalls is just a small town that is too quiet even though the population is apathetic.
The victims were teenagers. Make people ask what the reason is. The incident made the city's residents full of terror. Suspicious and careful of each other. Perhaps that is the most appropriate reason to describe why this funeral is full, not just sympathy, but want to qualify who is likely to be the perpetrator in order to remain cautious and protect themselves.
There was no exception for some teenagers who were also standing there with sorrowful gazes - which might not be the truth. Their arrival was merely a formality as a close friend of the victim. Even the word 'close friends' must also be questioned in their association. People who go out together, get together, laugh and have fun, not necessarily they are friends. Or in friendship though, there must be one or two disagreements and a pretense.
Same thing with the girl who was lying in the coffin. Tiara's.
"Prepare, after this the police will interrogate us as witnesses" Jeff told his friends who stood in a row. As if intentionally showing a close friendship bond.
"Witnesses? You certain? Don't we look like suspects? People may have made their own prejudices" Sean said, chuckling cynically.
The night that Tiara was killed, they were all having a party as usual, before the girl went missing somewhere. Guess the mind of people who think they know something. When in fact when you're in the party will eventually sink into the din of music and the craze of dancing to the feet numb. Or some end up in a room that both make the feet numb. The last example is often done by Sean and his girlfriend.
"Did he die from an overdose? Jeff, are you checking Tiara too much?" ask Anya with origin as usual. That sounds stupid.
"You kidding? Do you think Jeff is that kind of person? Obviously the autopsy results the police said he was murdered!" Karin denies it as usual when it's Jeff's business.
Abel gasped, not expecting it to come out of Grace's mouth. Her eyes looked at Grace intimidatingly, while the girl seemed to care nothing at all. Turn the eyeballs and throw away your face. Ignoring the existence of Abel who is Tiara's lover.
"Isn't that too rude, Grace?" Emeli started to open her voice. Everyone who knows them knows clearly, even if they are in the same circle, they are always in competition. In all things, especially power. The first is about Sean.
"Why Emeli? Feeling offended that you're always trying to get down on your knees to suck on my girlfriend's?" satirical Grace blatantly.
Sean's eyes widened hearing that. Staring at his girlfriend in shock. While Emeli's face reddened with disgrace.
Grace just smiled calmly and arrogantly still the same as before. "I know what you two are doing behind my back. Don't be so surprised, everyone knows we're all problematic. We are still together because we have the power to be in full control. And Tiara's death was the height. A friendship? wha what? Hush." Grace chuckles cynically.
"So you're saying, does this have anything to do with the emails we got together?" jeff asked directly to catch the direction where Grace said.
They all looked at each other and were silent. Glancing in all directions noticed who was coming one by one. Guess who is suspicious to be able to get into the qualifications of the person who sent them the message. Because whoever it is, he killed Tiara.
