The afternoon changed night.
Daniel was getting hungry. He also left.
What he said was that his grandparents were only able to usher in his departure by looking without being able to say what. It feels claustrophobic when remembering the sharp speech of the teenager.
The hospital canteen was so crowded. Even so, there was still an empty table. Daniel took his dinner sitting down and enjoyed it alone. Ignore everyone around.
Srreeet.
The seat opposite him shifted and was occupied by someone. It was Jevander Park.
"Eat. Don't focus on me."
Jevan knows, this kid doesn't really like his presence.
"Daniel, I see, you must be very angry and disappointed in me, right?"
Daniel just finished his dinner. I don't know what Daniel should say. This is the first time I have met Jevander Park in a different situation.
"I won't waste energy harboring anger on a father who doesn't even realize I'm his son" he replied honestly in his cold tone. Jevan silenced non-cutting.
"Have a father or not, it doesn't matter to me." Again, this statement is much more piercing.
"It seems that you are quite receptive to and acknowledge our existence as people who are from you. Thank you for not scolding my mother for giving birth to us, even though she knew that she did not deserve your flesh and blood. I'll make sure one thing, my brother, will never again disturb your calm." Daniel tried to stay calm, do not let people around hear it.
Jevan remained silent, preparing for what he was about to say next.
"Daniel, your mother is the one you love."
"Love? What kind of love? The love that hurt my mother? A love that can't be accounted for?"
"Daniel, I know, just apologizing won't be able to make father's mistakes blotted out. But ... Can we start from the starting point? Father ... Really still want to start again with your bundle, even if you're not father's flesh and blood." finally Jevan said his heart, among the many things he thought to say to this teenager.
"I don't need a father. Until anytime, I'm Daniello Moza, who only has a mother. Go to Darriel or Ezra, they are the ones waiting for you long ago. Even though you brought them, Mother still got me."
Feeling that enough had been said, Daniel left.
Sick, if you can ask, Jevan doesn't want to hear this anymore. Knowing that the two children wanted him so much, instead of feeling happy, Jevan was increasingly sad and disappointed in himself.
Not wanting to waste any time talking more with his son, Jevan followed.
"What I mean is .. we become a whole family. Don't want to take you guys off your bundles."
Daniel's steps stopped. Without looking back, he said :
"I'm not interested in being part of your family. Nor do I need to be recognized by you. Come back like before, don't know each other. I hope you can work together on this."
No matter how much Jevan prevents, Daniel steps away from him. Yes ... Of course ... Daniel was not a little boy who could easily be dragged away by force. She is a young adult who has big steps.
.
.
Ezra looked out through his transparent window glass. So much memory in his mind.
About the first time he asked 'where' his mother said he was working in a very distant place.
So hard dad worked that he can't remember coming home? His mother again said she had to earn a lot of money for Darriel..
As she entered her teens, Ezra remembered bullying a classmate just because the boy liked her.
You poor, skinny, ugly, fatherless son. It's good to like me! Don't you have a mirror in the house?
It was the worst insult Ezra ever said from his lips.
If only he had been given the chance to meet just once, it felt like Ezra wanted to kneel down and apologize sincerely.
Now Ezra was crying again, lamenting how devastated he felt now. Ezra was completely aware of how evil he had been all along.
*not dad, not mom, not because of anyone, I'm evil because of myself. *
The cold wind began to pierce to the bone. Ezra closed the window curtains.
Just about to lay down his body, Ezra heard the sound of knocking on the main door.
"Nus . . ."
Knowing whose voice it was, Ezra held back.
"Ezra .. This is Jungky's uncle. You're alone, aren't you? Come on, open the door."
Ezra had no interest in opening the door.
"Ezra, do you remember what you wanted? Meet dad, right? Open your door, Uncle really brought your father this time."
ezra unconsciously stepped forward. It was as if he was being pattered by a little Ezra.
But no, he just leaned his back behind the door.
"Ezra .. Can you let us get bitten by a mosquito outside? It feels so itchy. Come on, uncle knows you heard, right?"
"Uncle, .. Don't see me again." Ezra's voice sounded slow and very slow. "I don't need an Uncle. What I did to Nana Park, not because I wanted her dead so I could take back my father. I ... only .. avenge me because he left my mother. Uncle, I .. want to start a new life with just my mom and my sisters."
"Ezra ... You sound so hateful to me." Jevan Park's voice finally sounded. Vibrating, resisting sadness.
"Yes .. true ....' Ezra again cried loudly, without sounding anyone.
