"Liana took you to that place? What's he really thinking?" ask Shane.

Yuna calls Shane and asks the adult to pick her up. "I wanted to go in, but I remembered my grandmother's words. Don't choose the wrong path when you're in trouble. Better to be quiet and calm. Then, I left Liana there,"

"What problem are you having?" ask Shane. As Shane approached her, Yuna's face looked grim and her eyes looked as if they were crying.

At first, Shane wanted to ask what happened to the girl, but he paused. He's afraid to go ahead of Mario, Yuna's lover.

"And why didn't you call your girlfriend?" ask Shane again.

Yuna's tears came back. "I broke up with him, Shane. He saw you kissing me on the roof this afternoon, and he was mad at me,"

The girl drowned her face on the table and shed tears in her arms. "He said I never loved him. That's not true, I love her. It's just that, when I'm with Mario, I'm a little careful,"

Shane hugged the girl's shoulder. He never thought that his actions this afternoon made the girl he loved sad and cry. "I'm sorry, Yuna. I'll talk to Mario about this,"

Yuna shook her head. "no need. This is my problem, not yours" Yuna said.

He lifted his face and wiped his tears. "After this, I'll be fine. Thanks for picking me up,"

Before long, Shane took the girl home. On the way, Yuna fell asleep. Shane pulled the car over for a while and positioned the car seat, so Yuna felt comfortable.

He deliberately took a detour, so that Yuna could sleep longer. Until he reached a coffee shop that had closed not far from Yuna's house.

The man saw that Yuna was still soundly asleep and he did not want to wake the girl from her sleep. Shane looked at Yuna's face without getting bored. He tidied Yuna's hair that had fallen as Yuna's head leaned against the car's glass.

"You know, I was the one who cheered on your cries, Yuna. I am a person who is grateful for your broken heart. I'm sorry for all that. I still love you so much, Yuna" whispered Shane as if speaking to the sleeping girl.

After five minutes of waiting, Shane reclined his car seat and lay down next to the girl. Soon, Shane falls asleep with Yuna in the car.

Without feeling it, morning came. Shane wakes up to a knock on the windshield of his car. He blinked both of his eyes. "Bryan?"

"I saw your car and because I was afraid something might happen to you, I went downstairs to check on your condition. You all right? And, is that Yuna? What the hell happened to you guys? You guys slept in the car all night? Whoa, whoa, whoa! Shane-,"

Shane put his index finger on Bryan's lips. "Nothing happened between us. Last night, I just drove her home but she fell asleep and I couldn't bear to wake her up and accidentally, I fell asleep. Is it morning?"

Bryan showed me his gold-plated watch. "Nearly noon, dear. Get up and drive Yuna home before you get hugged by Lauren. You know what that old lady looks like, right?"

Shane rubbed his face rough. "Yes, I'll take Yuna home and I won't let her in today" With Bryan's help, Shane escapes Lauren's rampage.

"Whatdidyou say? His mom took him to a nightclub? That crazy guy, Liana! I don't think about your sister, Leona! From the beginning, there were only her actions that made me short-lived! Now, she's getting her own daughter into her life's problems! Crazy, that Liana!" lauren's Omelette. His face looked worried as Shane carried the only granddaughter.

After the morning drama was over, as he intended, Shane asked Mario to meet him at lunchtime. With Dave's help, Shane waits for the new employee to meet at a restaurant Dave has booked in advance.

"Mario, it's an honor for me to have lunch with you. Sit wherever you like" Shane said.

"So?" ask Mario.

"We just enjoy lunch this time, after we're done we'll just talk about important things" said Shane.

They ate the food they had served in silence. Food was delivered alternately. Starting from appetizers, main meals, and the last one is dessert.

"Ah, that's delicious. How do you think the food here tastes?" shane asked while bribing his tiramisu sorbet.

Mario nodded. "Yes, all the food served is delicious,"

"Alright, I invite you to come here not as a superior or subordinate. I'm taking you to see me as a friend" Shane said, starting their conversation.

Mario's forehead wrinkled. "What do you mean?"

"It's a personal matter, not an office issue. Your work is amazing, I have no complaints at all for your performance. This afternoon, I would like to invite you to have a conversation about something personal" Shane replied.

The grown man sipped his sugarless black coffee and started talking again. "About Yuna. I think you misunderstood our relationship,"

"Not misunderstood. If you say your relationship with Yuna is limited to friends, but why do you always kiss her?" sue Mario pissed. His tone became high instantly.

"You're just jealous, Mario. If you ask me if I still love him or not, then my answer is, yes I still love him" Shane replied. "But not with Yuna. That girl loves you, Mario. You're the winner of her heart, not mine,"

Mario speechless. "Why do you always kiss her and she can't resist every time you kiss her? He kissed me twice!"

"Do you think kissing is a sign of love?" Shane asked back. "If that's your benchmark, then you don't love her sincerely. Then, when he gives you everything he has, let alone your demands?"

Mario was silent again. Was he wrong because he always used kissing as a benchmark for love? "He gave you everything!"

"Yes, then that this time, he was a little cautious. Is that wrong?" shane asked sharply. "I am no longer in his heart. There's only one of you!"

Mario's face hardened. The man believes that Yuna still loves Shane and he is just a tool to forget the man in front of her now.

Shane still responded to Mario casually. "Then, now you're giving up?"

Mario nodded. "Yes, I prefer to love myself. If I insist on expecting love from Yuna, it's the same as I wish on a shadow to love me!"

"All right, then. If you really give up, I'll go back to chasing my love. I'll get back to Yuna. You have no problem with that?" shane asked smiling.

Mario was silent for a moment and then he nodded. "Please! Thank you for your lunch, Shane!" Mario comes out of the room and leaves Shane smiling.
