Chapter 25

Early in the morning, a man was preparing to go somewhere, he was so quick to drive his car, that some people grumbled.

"I'm sorry, I have to be fast" said the man, who remained focused on driving his car.

At last the man reached the place he was going, where he saw a man and a woman.

"When have you been waiting for me?" leo asked Alkan whose face looked very upset.

"An hour ago." Alkan replied with a sniffle.

"Sorry" said Leo.

Well, since when is this cold man a hobby of saying sorry?

"Hmm, uh,"

While Zea who saw the interaction of these sisters became very careless, she rolled her eyes lazy. If only he had not been forced by Alkan, perhaps he would not have been among this strange man.

"I don't want to waste time." Leo walked away to the orphanage leaving Alkan and Zea.

Alkan let out a long sigh, then went after Leo with the woman who had been by his side since.

"Done, let go of my hand!" snapped Zea.

"Why? How expensive are your hands, until I can't hold them?" ask Alkan.

"It's not expensive." Zea rubbed his arm slowly.

"Then I'll pay. How much?" Alkan raised his eyebrows.

"No! I can be bought with a dowry only," said the woman.

"OK then I'm ak–"

"Whisper!" snapped Leo, cut Alkan's words.

"He started." Zea pointed at Alkan.

"You!" alkan said he would not lose.

"ENOUGH!" Leo looked at the two humans intently.

"Our goal is just to find out about my son! Not to argue!" sentak Leo's.

After giving them a bluff, Leo walked ahead of them to enter the orphanage's office. He knocked on the door in front of him.

"For a long time, was there no one, huh?" Mumbled Leo.

"A moment" cried someone from inside the home office.

The office door opened, revealing a middle-aged woman wearing a white headscarf. The woman stood before Leo with a puzzled look. Perhaps, the middle-aged woman was confused by the arrival of Leo who was not a stranger.

"Who are you, sir?" ask the middle-aged woman.

"E‐ me, I want to ask you something," said Leo nervously.

"Are there any male babies delivered here by a man?" ask Leo.

"Is the man you're referring to is Mr Dave?" ask the woman.

"Yes. Did he bring the baby and put it in here?" ask Leo. "Say! Where's the baby."

"There's inside, our assistant is giving her milk" the woman explained.

"I'll bring the baby!" firmly Leo.

"Can't be sir,"

Leo stared intently at the woman in front of him, "what do you mean?" ask Leo.

"If you want to adopt it, you must meet the requirements first, sir." The woman turned around, and went inside. After a split second he returned with a piece of paper.

Leo snatched the paper and tore it roughly. "Are you going to separate a child from his parents? That baby is my son! I'm sure it is. And that fucking Dave, is the criminal who kidnapped my son!" sentak Leo's.

Without any excuse, Alkan, who had been behind Leo, entered the office and saw the woman who was giving milk to the baby in her cradle.

"He's my nephew! Leave it to me." Alkan forcefully seized the baby.

"Thati-thati sir, she will fall down," the woman recalled.

Alkan brought the baby out. He handed it to Zea who had been outside with Leo who was facing the caretakerness of the mother.

"We're leaving." Leo turned around and walked away from the place towards his car. He already feels calm. The baby was already in Zea's arms.

Why didn't he just carry her, huh?

Oh of course not, Leo had wanted to hold his child, but he could not hold a baby, he was afraid his arms were uncomfortable. So, it is better to learn first to carry rather than having to force yourself.

"You sure you're not gonna carry your son?" ask Alkan.

"I can't carry a baby" Leo said.

"You must learn from your wife!"

"Is he really my son?" ask Leo.

"We're doing a DNA test now!"
