Now Dave was sitting on a roadside bench, breathing hard. "Huh, Dave, you're so cool." he murmured.

The man stood up straight despite having to take a deep breath. He stepped on his feet to leave his place.

"I have to go to the hospital. I have to take Kayla with me again. Once the letter is signed by him, I'll throw away the troublesome woman." He hastened his steps.

The operating room door is open. A female doctor came out of the room.

Leo who realized that, immediately got up from his sitting. "How's my wife doing, Doc?" ask Leo.

"Look, Sir. Your wife and child are safe. But ... " Doctor Ratna hung up her remarks.

"What?" ask Leo to panic.

"Your wife is losing a lot of blood. He currently requires a d4rah transfusion. His blood type O. Do any of the families have the same d4rah? Because the stock of d4rah O in this hospital is not there, this type of d4rah is rare" explained Dr. Ratna.

It's been an hour since Leo was in a white room, donating a lot of blood to his wife.

A Sister came to Leo who was leaning on the cage, she looked at Leo with a difficult gaze to interpret.

"What should I say to Kayla? He's gonna be great to me?"

"Sir, let's see the baby's body," the nurse asked.

Leo and Alkan ended their conversation, following the young Sister's footsteps towards the mortuary.

When he reached the morgue and saw the lifeless body of his child, Leo felt something was wrong. He felt that this was a game. But ...

He decided to touch the tiny tubvh of his lifeless baby. I don't think he has any bond with this kid. But, this is destiny. What else, besides accepting it?

"Leo, I feel like there's something weird about all this." Alkan walked along to Leo who was looking at the baby's body.

"Sir, your wife has been moved to the nursing room. But, the condition is still very weak," said the Sister as if to divert the talk Alkan.

"I want to see my wife, Sus," Leo said.

"Alright," said the nurse briefly.

Leo went into Kayla's nursery. He saw a woman he loved so much lying weakly in a cage. Leo approached Kayla, and gently rubbed Kayla's unraveling hair.

Leo shifts the chair to get closer to the cage and sits on it. "I'll stay here, Kayla. Don't forget to get up for me" whispered Leo right in Kayla's ear.

"Kayla, I'm afraid you're gonna get mad at me, I'm afraid Kayla,"

Leo gently dyed Kayla's forehead, after which, he gently rubbed the woman's hair, looked at her, and occasionally smiled at her. "Pretty. You've always been beautiful, Kay," she said.
