Returns Leoni

The next day, they returned to Manado using a private plane belonging to the Glen family who had been faithfully parked at Kupang airport waiting anytime needed by Glen.

“Finally I return to my beloved city.” Leoni spread out her arms after getting off the plane and set foot back to the land of Nyiur Malambai Manado, her birthplace.

“At last I can take you back to this beloved city.” Glen hugged Leoni from behind and placed his head on his shoulders. “Come! Your family must have been waiting for you.” Glen said again.

Leoni smiled happily, she imagined how happy both parents were with her sister when they saw her in front of her, her face was beaming, impatient to reach her parents' house, his childhood home that he misses so much.

They continued on from the airport to Leoni's house, along the way Leoni stared out the car window, he enjoys the breath of Manado city air and the cityscape has changed a lot in just a short time.

“This city is getting beautiful only.” Said Leoni watching the beauty of the city along the road they went through.

Glen responded to Leoni's words with a sweet smile, “Hopefully our story will also be as beautiful as this city which is growing more and more.” Glen said, the two of them looked at each other and smiled with the same expectation.

30 Minutes drive from the airport to Leoni's house, it feels impatient Leoni wants to get to his house, occasionally he asks Glen “Still long trip?” it felt like the first time he came to that place so he did not know or remember where his house was.

When the car that drove them was parked right in front of the house, Leoni became nervous, he focused his attention on the building of the house that he had longed for, he said, the house is simple yet full of laughter and warmth in it.

“You don't want to go down?” Glen surprised the dreamy Leoni.

Leoni immediately jumped out of the car and ran towards the gate of his house that looked as clean as possible. “Is anyone home? They exist no? Or don't-don't..” Leoni hesitate to enter.

“Ny, come!” Get Glen to pull on Leoni's arm and lead her into the house. Sure enough the house is not locked making it easier for them to enter. Leoni's footsteps slowed down when the door opened. “Why?” ask Glen.

“Entah.” Leoni was confused by her current feelings.

“Leoni?” mama Leoni suddenly came out of the kitchen because she heard like someone opened the door of her house, she was shocked to see Leoni in front of the door of her house. “You are that?” Mama Leoni is less sure of her vision, she thinks that Leoni is still in the Fatuleuh area where there is no communication network so it is not possible for her to now be in front of her.

“Mama..” Leoni snatched my mom with hugs and crying. “This is my son ma.” Said Leoni kissing both cheeks of her mother.

Mama Leoni did not think that if her son had really returned, it felt happy to be back with his son. Tears had trickled down by itself, beautiful eyes were flooded with the clear circle, with the spirit she called her husband and son. Moments later, his father and brother Leon joined them, and their pleasure was overflowing by hugging their son.

“Ny...” Glen breaks the atmosphere between them.

“Glen.” Leoni realizes that Glen is among them, Leoni releases her arms with her parents and approaches Glen telling him to sit down.

Meanwhile, Kevin's younger brother Leoni held back his anger at seeing Glen's whereabouts, he still had negative thoughts on Glen because of Glen's actions that once drove them away while in Kupang, the situation was still ringing in his head.

“Mama, papa.” Glen started to open his voice.

“How dare he call mom and dad on my parents?” Kevin was irritated in his heart hearing Glen's words.

Glen did not give up, he gathered all his courage to face the two Glen parents back then. He began to talk and explain everything that happened between him and Leoni, starting with the incident that caused him to expel them from Kupang at that time.

“So that time you yourself did not know if the Leoni you saw or not?” Kevin responded to Glen's words angrily and was replied with a nod to Glen agreeing with Kevin's words. “And you without finding out the truth instantly angry?” ask Kevin again.

Glen went back on with his story, everyone heard every word Glen let out of his mouth.

Glen went on to tell the cause of her expelling them, for the reason that emotions overflowed in her head so that she could not think clearly, just trusting what she saw and not questioning Leoni first.

“In the future, if there is any problem should be solved with a cool head and talked about both first, do not let the emotions that control you more.” Papa's message after listening to Glen's story.

Next Glen recounts the incident that caused Leoni to go to the Fatuleh area and how the efforts he made so that he managed to bring Leoni with him back to Manado and now can go home to his parents.

“I think this is very appropriate for me to do, not worth the wound I inflicted into your hearts, I will not stand before listening to your apologies. Again forgive me.” Glen did not want to stand up and went back to pleading with his future father-in-law.

“We have forgiven you.” Tears ran down Mama Leoni's cheeks, she hugged Glen and led him to her feet. The feeling of haru back among them all. “Thank you for bringing Leoni back.” Said mom again.
