Chapter 4
Asa and Dusk
“Later we ask the sisters,” reply Aluna quietly.
“Lun, why yes, there are angel-hearted people keeping their kindness a secret?”
“Maybe he wants to practice the religious teachings of kali, Pi,” Aluna answered accordingly. He had heard that doing good was nobler unknown. He said that if it is known to people, the potential for exhibition is greater.
And to Aluna's knowledge, showing off, riya or whatever her name could reduce the merit of kindness. Is that perhaps the reason good people donate blood, Aluna thought.
“Can be, Lun. Hopefully we can thank him directly,” whispered his father.
Aluna hoped that the conversation she had with her father would not be heard by the nurse. If you sound noisy worry about interfering with the sister's work.
Aluna and Papi patiently wait while watching the nurse work painstakingly for Deva and Devi's recovery.
Shortly after the hooded sister finished her duties, Aluna and Papi approached the nurse.
“Thank you very much for the help yes, Sister,” Aluna said sincerely. This is the smile that he was first sad after in a few days he was moody in the atmosphere of a flood disaster.
“Sama-sama. This is my duty, Ma'am.”.
“Aluna...” said the girl as if she knew what the nun meant.
“Iya, Ms. Aluna…. May Deva and Devi quickly realize yes and recover as usual.”.
Papi and Aluna guaranteed the sister's prayer.
“Oia, nurse. We feel very indebted to the angelic heart donor. Can we find out who it is?”
The nurse was silent for a moment.
“I think, I already know.. The person was here..”.
“Where, Sister?” Papi is curious.
“The man who was with Mbak and Bapak. I'm guessing you already know each other.”.
Papi is confused. He had completely forgotten, asking the name of the person who had helped him.
He glanced at Aluna. “Lun, Papi just thanked me and forgot to ask for a name. He asked for Papi's number, unfortunately so panicked Papi forgot to ask for his number.. ” said Papi slowly and full of regrets.
“Suster, who is the donor?” Aluna asked slowly. Doubt and shame.
“Bapak Arka Pratama Putra.”
“Is she still here, Sister?” ask Papi.
“Already announced. After he donated his blood, he went straight away. And I came straight here,” said the nurse.
“Oh yes, maybe Mr. Arka was in a hurry. We were giving milk and supplements, but it turned out to be behind.”
“Oia. Though he needs recovery,” said Papi.
“One-time rule Sir.. ”
“Oia, sisters.. Those two bags are all from donor Mr Arka?” ask Aluna.
“No.. Alhamdulillah, one bag was found there from the blood bank. And it fits perfectly the only one..” is obviously the nurse.
“Good, Sir, Ma'am. I say goodbye first,” continued the nurse.
Papi and Aluna greeted the nurse in a friendly manner.
But it looks like Papi still feels something is up.
“Lun, kamu jaga adik-adikmu ya,” pinta Papi.
“Siap, Pi.”
Then Papi immediately chased after the nurse.
“Suster... does the nurse save the Arka number?”
“There Sir..”
“Aalhamdulillah's. Can you ask, Sus. I want to contact him..”.
Sister and Papi arrive at a room in the same post.
“Oia, I intend to meet Mr Arka?”
“Sure, Sister. I want to try to find maybe he is still not far from around here..”.
“Good, Sister,” Reply Papi.
Sister handed the white plastic to Papi.
Papi quickly returned to the room where Deva and Devi were being treated.
“Lun, you keep it safe..”.
“Papi where to go?” Aluna who was sitting next to Devi glanced at her father.
“Papi want to find Arka, maybe he is still he is still around here. All you want to give him a supplement,” said Papi while showing the plastic supplements he holds.
“Ya, Udah Pi.. But do not be long yes... If you can do not more than Magrib...”.
“Oke, if Azan Magrib has not met yet, Papi will be home soon.”
Papi was out of the post immediately.
Aluna still faithfully awaits her sister. He now took a position in the middle, in order to take turns observing Deva and Devi one by one.
While guarding his sister, he recited prayers that he was able to. He read Al-Fatihah, Al-Falaq, An-Naas, Al-Ikhlas and other surahs that he could.
“Astagfirullah..” muttered Aluna slowly. I don't know he is also still not too understanding and lay about religious affairs.
Do I deserve to read the Quran while I do not close my hair? Think Aluna.
O Allah, may I not sin, Aluna hoped in her heart.
But his heart still hesitated. He ran for a moment to the tent where he was sleeping and was sculpted. He took the mukena and the prayer mat. There will soon come the time of Azan Magrib.
Aluna immediately took the water wudu. Shortly after that, he sat back to wait for Deva and Devi.
If he had previously read short surahs. This time he installed the Quran app in his hape.
Once installed, he read slowly Surah Yasin. During his reading, his heart continued to pray for the healing of his two younger siblings.
Sometimes he also invited Deva and Devi to talk alternately. He said positive and passionate words for the recovery of both.
Meanwhile, Papi down the road around the Field of Combat. He stepped in as his eyes looked around hoping to find the white Arka car that had driven him to the post.
There were a few white cars, but obviously it wasn't an Ark.
He went even further in hopes of finding an Arka car.
After less than half an hour I could not see you. Papi sat for a moment on a bench on the sidewalk.
Papi just remembered. She got Arka's phone number from the nun. He immediately called the number.
The number you are calling is inactive. There was only such an answer after trying to be contacted several times.
Finally, Papi typed a message to Arka into WA.
Assalamualaik…
Thanks for everything. I can't imagine our son's fate without the help of a good man like you.
Warm regards
Papi Aluna and the twins Deva and Devi
Papi presses the paper airplane symbol in the WhatsApp app.
He hopes the message is read and answered soon. But in reality the message just ticked one.
Papi looked at the plastic containing the supplement and the milk box.
“I have to see Arka soon. This is a deposit, and must be delivered immediately,” muttered Papi.
Allahu Akbar .. Allahu Akbar!
Azan Magrib. It sounds legitimate to say from one mosque to another.
Papi remembered his promise to Aluna. It is unfortunate not to be able to meet Arka directly. But he hopes tomorrow or the day after tomorrow he can meet the good people who have helped him a lot.
Papi was still sitting on the bench for a moment while answering azan to completion. After that, then he got up and swung a step to return to the evacuation post.
O God, give me a chance to thank the young man with a noble heart.
The heartfelt prayer was lifted from the heart of Papi.
