I feel played with by destiny. Immediately dead and revived. Either way, I should be thankful or moaning for the game of fate that was given to us.
"Honey," I said in a hoarse voice.
"Yes" she answered with tears coming back from the corner of her beautiful eyes.
"Why are you crying?"
"I'm so happy that you're back, honey. Why is fate playing us?" said Acasha who turned out to be one thought with me.
I gently rubbed the clear water that had been shed. Now I feel the softness of Acasha's cheeks again. Rubbing the water dry.
"Don't cry. I've kept my promise, haven't I?"
Acasha nodded but still with eyes spilling water.
I rubbed it back while sitting down and our positions faced each other. I hugged him tightly. It felt beautiful when our pair of eyes could meet without having to fear something was missing in here.
"Don't stay with me anymore" she asked as her face was in my arms.
"When did I leave you, honey?"
Acasha let go of his embrace. He looked at me sharply with pursed lips and folded hands on his chest.
"Not yet conscious? A few days ago, you went to look for the golden apple and after returning, you instead wanted to go far away from me by separating us through death. You're evil, honey," she said, hitting my chest softly. I can only smile.
"Are you so afraid of losing me when I'm really gone from you?"
"Not scared anymore. All the ugliness, even death, is what I have in mind. I wanted to end my life if I had to fight in the mortal world alone and I didn't want it to happen again. Let me die first" he said, stopping because I smothered his lips with his hands.
"Don't talk weird. Is not that a prayer?" I said remind.
"sorry. I just want you to know, honey. If I was really so afraid of losing you. You live and die, Mr. Eros."
I rubbed his head. Swab the long unraveled hair that covers the back of Acasha.
The sky was completely dark and I invited Acasha to return to his kingdom.
Walk hand in hand through many pine trees. The fishy aroma wafted in the sense of smell as the downstream wind pointed at us.
The carcasses of the royal dwellers were scattered outside the palace with blood dyeing the ground red. Not only that, their bodies were not intact. There was a body where and his head was blown to where. Many were not intact, looking terrible with blood still seeping and some had even dried up. The scenery was so terrible when the beautiful sky was orange, but in the kingdom Acasha had been flushed by blood.
Passing through the bodies of the war soldiers outside the palace with all sorts of pitiful and painful expressions.
The door of work that was wide open full of blood and the smell of fishy and rotten had been mixed. So tragic. Moreover, when he saw the bodies of Father and Mother of Acasha holding hands.
"Mother!" Acasha running. He wiggled his mother's body, "wake up, Mom. Wake up," he said.
"Well, wakeup. Father ..." said Acasha lirih.
Acasha held the hands of her parents. Kissing her over and over again with tears constantly shedding.
I rubbed his shoulders, intending to give him some encouragement. "Darling, you still have me. Please remember that. You can be sad, but not for long. I don't want you to dissolve in sadness."
Acasha was still sad, her tears were still sullen.
"Hey?" I grabbed Acasha's cheek. Now, our eyes are staring at each other.
"I have no more life support. They die, they die, honey," she said in a soft, painful voice. Reasonable. Because on the same day, Acasha had to taste the bitter pill of life. Left by both parents, soldiers, people and also the kingdom that has been destroyed.
I invited Acasha into her room to just rest her body and mind in the room that always provides comfort.
Acasha sat on the edge of the bed with a blank look. His eyes were seen pointing to the balcony of the room. Truly, today I see Acasha as a breathing doll. He could only be silent with an inexplicable look.
No more cheerfulness and smiles framing her pink lips. I miss.
I grabbed Acasha's face and drowned her in a warm embrace. Acasha wrapped her hands around my waist. His breathing roared as if holding back anger.
Blackened sky accompanied by lightning flash. Not long after, the rain fell heavily and the water flooded the work. Those of us at the top of the room could only watch the drifting bangkai, swept by the water that flooded the village of Acasha.
"Stop them, baby," I said as Acasha's tears rolled back down her cheeks. His sight was clearly visible when the bodies of people carried by the brown water.
I was amazed to see the body of the mother and father of Acasha who seemed inseparable. They still hold hands. It looks romantic to people who are just listening. But for Acasha it feels sad. We could not reach anyone's body because of the heavy rain that was accompanied by the illumination of the dead lights because no one lit the torches and hearths that usually warmed such a vast empire. No one can light too many torches. It's just me and Acasha.
"Well, ma'am," Acasha said as she looked at the body illuminated by a flash of lightning.
I hugged Acasha tightly. Tonight is the most expensive day of Acasha's life. Is this what the old man meant if the apple should be eaten both. There will be something going on and maybe what it means is this. I should be able to bring Acasha's parents back to life. However, things turned tragic. All dead. All drifted away and disappeared and left us in the palace.
"Darling, I'm sorry" I said, opening the conversation amid silence and a sea of sadness.
"Sorry for what?" Acasha still responds to me.
"For everything. It's all my fault. I'm sorry."
"No, Honey. This has become a sign of destiny. I'm not angry with anyone, especially you. The man I love so much and want to have" Acasha replied in a heavy tone.
Either I'm the cause of this, or it's fate. I prefer to keep quiet because not necessarily because of me.
"Are you disappointed in me?" My eyes narrowed as I looked at Acasha's face.
Acasha. "Of course not. This has indeed become a sign of destiny. It's just that I'm still thankful that God still sent you to take care of me, Mr. Eros," Acasha said with a smile. I hugged her warmly with gratitude.
