Cidro (Between Love And Wounds)

Cidro (Between Love And Wounds)
Chapter 26

Satria forced her smile as Avita and her future husband bid farewell to go home. There was a gaping hole in his heart when he saw their togetherness.

Satria rubbed her face violently. He regretted having wasted such a heart that was so sincere in loving him.

"Don't regret what happened. But learn to always love people who love you sincerely" Avita said before leaving.

Satria wanted to scream loudly. He wanted to let out a sense of tightness that was squeezing his chest. A feeling of tightness that makes him unable to breathe. The taste that makes it like a fish out of place.

It was not only Satria who felt the tightness. Azwan was also feeling extreme pain. He had to bury his feelings deeply into Citra this time.

"I can't be with you anymore. Regardless of whether you are my brother or not" Citra said when Azwan called her earlier.

"Please Image. Please give me another chance. I promise I'll fix everything. I won't hurt you anymore" beg Azwan.

"Sorry Wan. I do not hate or hate you. But I was disappointed with you. I've been hurt by your attitude" replied Citra.

"Citra please. I love you so much. I promise I won't hurt you again. Please love me one more chance to fix everything." Azwan was still trying to persuade Citra to accept him back.

The image remains in its stance. He won't accept Azwan anymore. Moreover, now he and Azwan are brothers. They were born from different wombs.

Azwan could no longer force Citra to get back together with him. He could no longer force Citra to knit back the strings of their love that had broken in the fire of betrayal.

"I'm sorry I'm busy now. Thank you for teaching me the meaning of pain and disappointment. And thank you because all this time you have wanted to protect me from the abusive treatment of children at school," Citra said before hanging up the phone.

Azwan was only speechless hearing Citra's words. He could not answer or reply to Citra's words just now. Finally he could only step back in the circumstances.

Azwan let out a long breath. He regretted hurting Citra. He regretted following Dirga's talk which turned out to be a lie. He regrets having followed all Shintya's words which turned out to be mere rot.

Now only a sense of tightness was lingering spoiled on his chest. Only regret was in his heart. Only regret now accompanies his days.

The night is getting late. The sounds of the night animals sounded like each other. The stars and the moon are still shining.

"Mas Hardcore where the hell? I haven't come home yet." The image seemed to be pacing back and forth in the living room waiting for the brother to come home.

The girl occasionally glanced at the wall clock stuck resignedly on the wall.

"Udah wants midnight. But Mas Tegar has not come home yet. Where the hell are people?"

The girl was worried about the condition. He tried to call his sister. But not lifted. He's not giving up. He tried again. Same. Harder didn't pick up the phone from him.

"Mas, lift dong. Where the hell is Hardcore?"

Citra keeps trying to contact her sister. But still, Tegar did not want to pick up the phone. Finally Citra gave up. He no longer tried to contact his brother.

"Yes that. I'd better get some sleep. You also return by yourself," he said.

Citra moved her feet towards her room. As he was about to reach the door of his room, he heard the sound of a motorbike entering his yard. The image immediately ran towards the front door and opened the lock.

"Where are you going?" He asked as he stood in front of Tegar.

The young man took off the helmet he was wearing. He stared at Citra at a glance and resumed his footsteps towards the inside of the house.

"Mas" call Citra. His hand blocked his brother's arm to stop stepping.

"What the hell? Don't care," ketus Tegar. He shook Citra's hand until the girl almost fell.

"Mas Hardcore where the hell is it? How come we just got home? I've been waiting for Mas Tegar to come home. I'm worried about Mas Tegar" Citra said.

Harder wears a slanted smile. He was not touched at all by the words of the image just now. His heart was currently being filled by the taste that had been holding him back.

Without saying anything, Tegar moved from the face of Citra. The young man stepped towards his room leaving Citra still speechless with a million questions in his heart.

*****

The night has changed with the sun. The darkness of the night had gone away changed with the light of the morning god.

The image just finished taking a shower and getting ready for breakfast. That's when he met Tegar. I want him to say hello to his brother. But he remembered Steadfast last night. So the image benefited his intention.

Tegar glanced at Citra. Then he looked straight ahead and continued his steps towards the back of the house.

The image let out a long sigh looking at the strange attitude of Rigid. The girl can only stroke the chest and try to understand the attitude of Rigid.

"Mas Hardcore why Ma'am?" ask for an image on Wiwit.

Wiwit just shrugged his shoulders. The girl did look cute and impressed not care about Tegar. Unlike the image that cares too much about its surroundings. No wonder if something changes just a little, Citra can feel it.

"Kok very strange attitude since last night," continued Citra.

Wiwit shrugged his shoulders again. He himself did not know what was going on with his brother.

"Udahlah justin. It is also good on its own. It's normal Mas Tegar like that," said Wiwit tried to calm his sister.

The image just nodded. He didn't want to be too drawn out thinking about Tegar's strange attitude. Because today he and all the children at his school will face the test of class.

"It's better that I focus on the test today rather than having to keep thinking of Mas Tegar" he said in his heart.

"Who are you going to school with?" ask Wiwit.

"Bareng the same Anne, Ma'am. He'll bring me here" Citra replied.

Wiwit rounded his lips. He then refocused on his food.

"Picture is done with breakfast, son?" ask Bu Aminah.

"Udah Ma'am," Citra replied.

Aminah smiled at the child's answer. "Yes already. Shoot change his clothes. Arga is waiting for you in front."

Wiwit looked at Citra questioningly. He said he was leaving with Anne. Why is Arga picking you up now?

"Yes Mom. The image of changing clothes first yes," Citra replied. A sweet smile spread across his face.

Citra got up from her seat and rushed towards her room to change clothes. It did not take long, Citra was out again and ready to go to school.

After saying goodbye, Citra immediately came out and met Arga. Outside Arga is ready with his big bike. Arga smiled as he saw Citra coming out from inside his house.

"Yuk leaving," Citra asked. The girl then climbed onto the top of the Arga motorbike.

"Are you ready?" asked Arga when Citra had gone up to her bonce.

The image nodded its head. After saying Bismilbornrahmanirrahim, Arga launched his motorcycle. At that moment Citra turned towards the room Tegar. There Tegar stared at him through the glass window. His eyes shone sharply towards Citra and Arga.
