A Visit to Lapas

Lily smiled happily to see her mother-in-law so greedy to eat the food she brought.

"If you admit you like my cooking, I can send food to you every day," Lily said, making the middle-aged woman who had looked down on her food look up.

"Yes, I like it" replied Emely sounding flat.

Lily glanced at her husband with a happy smile, Leon could feel how happy his current wife was.

After Emely finished eating, Leon asked for a moment to the officer who had been standing not far from the table where the visit, so as not to immediately bring his mother back into the cell. Fortunately the officer gave time even if it was only five minutes.

"So mama doesn't hate me and my wife, does she?" leon asked after a long silence.

Emely shook her head, she looked at the woman who had become her daughter-in-law.

"Hm" he answered briefly.

Leon smiled happily. "That means mama's already accepted if Lily's mama's daughter-in-law?"

To that question, it still feels heavy. Emely still does not accept.

Lily knew that Leon's mama wouldn't be that easy to accept. But it's okay, the most important thing now is to make the middle-aged woman just melt first. That's been better.

"I know mama must still have a hard time accepting the fact of having a daughter-in-law who is not in accordance with the wishes of mama. I accept that. Its alright. But you should know, if I'm never going to have a fuss over mama's status as it is today," Lily said, leaving Emely's heart slightly pungent.

Leon was made to not believe Lily could say that to her mother. He hopes that with the words just now can make his mother think and slowly want to open her heart to Lily as a daughter-in-law.

"The time is up, Emely's sister has to go back to the cell" the officer said.

Leon thanked the officer. Before his mother actually returned to the cell, Leon advised that her mother could completely change after this.

Now Leon and Lily go to Xander's room. It only took about ten minutes from Emely's room.

Leon and Lily waited in the visiting room. For Xander, Leon didn't expect too much.

Not long after, Xander shows up with one officer who took him. His hands are in handcuffs to avoid anything he doesn't want. Because while in prison, Xander often quarrel with cellmates. He was then transferred to a mouse cell.

"Pa.." said Leon.

Xander unsheathed a sharp look as soon as he saw who had come to visit him. Her lips lifted into a grin.

"How dare you come here?" said the man.

Xander looked at Lily with anger and hatred. He took the lunchbox and slammed it on the floor until the rice was scattered.

Lily was shocked and spontaneously moved away, Leon did not accept her father to be so.

"My wife and I came here well, Dad. Can you appreciate a little bit of my wife's effort???" exclaim Leon.

"Respect you to say?" again Xander grinned and walked one step forward.

"How can I appreciate a person who has clearly ruined my life, HUH..???"

"Enough and stop blaming others for your own mistakes..!! Why is papa never aware of what papa is doing..?? If you feel your life is ruined now, that is the kind of reply you deserve..!"

Both of Xander's beads lit up in crimson eyes held back anger. Although in handcuffed hands in front, the man unhesitatingly threw a bogem punch at Leon. Luckily the officers immediately secured Xander.

"Can you talk to me like that? Chees.. YOU USELESS CHILD..! TROUBLESOME..! MISERABLE..!"

The screams of mockery and insults Xander hurled at Leon. Officers dragged the man back into the cell.

Leon exhaled and lowered his head for a moment so as not to be provoked by his papa anger. After feeling himself in control, he turned the body on his wife.

"I'm sorry for my papa's attitude..!" said Leon.

Lily shook her head. "No, you don't have to apologize. You're not wrong."

"Papa has hurt your heart."

"No, Leon. I'm it's okay. I'm doing fine. You don't have to feel guilty like that, yeah!"

Leon nodded. "Thank you for understanding, baby."

"Yes, you're welcome."

Leon hugs Lily's body and takes her into a hug. He kissed Lily's head pretty deep.
