Leon's Concerns

Emely stopped her car on the side of the road. Leon stopped his car behind his mother's car. He got out of the car and approached his mother.

"Ma.." Leon knocked on his mother's car door.

Emely came out, she immediately rushed to hug Leon and shed her tears there. Leon knows how his mother feels now.

Leon let his mother cry in his arms until she was satisfied. Emely let go of her embrace slowly.

"So now who's there for mama? Me or papa?" Leon gave his mother the same question as yesterday.

Emely rubbed the tears flowing down her cheeks. Then cupped Leon's two cheeks, looking at him quite deeply.

"I'm sorry, Leon, mama" said the woman, filled with regret.

Leon exhaled with a smile, finally his mother was willing to admit her mistake all along.

"Thank you for always being there for me, Leon. Mama doesn't know if you don't catch your dad with that jallang woman, maybe you'll forever embrace that dark betrayal" Emely said.

"Yes, ma."

Leon helps sweep away the tears of his mother, now what he worries about is his mother's meeting with her father later.

"Will you keep papa?" ask Leon later.

"Of course, Leon," replied Emely steadily.

"No, ma. Mama has to let go of papa!" Leon Pinta.

Emely removed her hands from both cheeks of her son. "You're asking mama to split up with papa?"

"But papa is not a man worth defending, ma. Did you want to be betrayed a second time?"

Emely shook. "Of course not, I did."

"Then, you should separate from Papa. You can get rid of one woman, but are you sure you can get rid of the next?"

Emely budging. What Leon said was true too, her husband could have cheated on another woman after the woman.

"Now you want to go home?" leon asked his mother.

"Where should my mom go?"

"Mom sure you can control your emotions when you meet papa? If you're suddenly angry, I'm afraid you're going to do something bad to you."

"Mama can control emotions, Leon. After all, right now your love is still greater than your mother's hatred for your father" replied Emely.

"Don't be stupid, ma. I suggest you mama should be able to play more beautiful without involving any feelings on papa. With that mama will win," suggested Leon.

"But, Leon-"

"Now that you're home, you're pretending like you don't know anything. Ok!?"

"Yes, mom's home."

"Yes, ma. Be careful!"

Emely got back in her car and left from there. Actually Leon is not sure if his mother is able to hold the anger, he is afraid of a big fight later. But he hopes bad things don't happen.

At the dinner table. Lily found her husband looking unusual. Leon seems to be thinking about a lot of things, he is sure if Leon again hides something from him.

"Leon.. What's up?"

Lily's question takes Leon out of the subconscious of daydreams, the man tries to smile even though Lily knows Leon is spilling something out of her.

"There's nothing, honey. Continue eating again!" answer the man.

The answer makes Lily more sure if Leon hides something from her. Butwhat? There seems to be a big problem, could it be a job problem?

"Are you sure you still don't want to open up to me, Leon? You still think of me as someone else?" lily said again, she felt Leon did not believe her.

"It's not so, honey. But-"

"I deserve to know whatever your problem is, Leon. I'm your wife, and you're my husband. We need to be open to each other, not mind your own problems. Who knows, I can provide a solution, at least I'll be a good listener for you" Lily said.

Leon sighed, at first he would tell this later. If you need not tell Lily. Because it's about the disgrace of his family too.

"Yes, honey. I'll tell you."

Lily smiled, Leon finally could melt.

"My father cheated on me" Leon said to the point.

Lily was stunned not even believing.

"Really?"

"Yes, he cheated on a woman I've never t-"

Leon almost slipped, but fortunately he could put the brakes on his mouth not to reveal the woman's identity.

"T- what?" lily asked curiously as soon as Leon stopped his sentence.

Now Leon must find a reasonable reason for Lily not to be suspicious of him.

"Please, baby. I didn't expect that the woman I helped would be a thorn in my family" Leon continued.

"Then what about your mom? Does your mom know about this?"

"Already, I immediately called my mother as soon as caught papa being with another woman. Mama gave me a lesson from that housewife's intruder."

It felt like Lily still couldn't believe it, but that was the reality. Leon also recounts how his mother made the seductive woman deterred. Lily couldn't imagine what it would be like to be Leon's mom. It must have broken his heart.

"May your mother and father's relationship be fine, Leon," Lily said.

"Don't" Leon said.

"Why?"

"Traitors don't deserve to be defended."

Lily smiled at Leon's response.

"I hope you don't follow in your papa's footsteps" Lily hoped.

"You're so afraid of losing me" teased Leon on the sidelines of a serious discussion.

"No," elak Lily.

"That's proof?"

"You said traitors don't deserve to be defended. So I'm not afraid of losing an unfaithful person."

"But I'm loyal."

"But you're a liar."

"It's honest."

"If it's forced."

"Maha.."

Leon rattled Lily's head crest with anxiety. It's okay to be stamped as a liar, as long as the lie is for the good and doesn't fuck around.

After dinner, Lily and Leon enter her room. Now Lily has gone to bed first, while Leon is still literate. She watched Lily's sleeping face, Lily looked cute while sleeping.

Leon diverts the hair-trunk that covers Lily's face, then lands a brief kiss on the forehead, the left cheek of the canana, the tip of the nose, the chin, last on the tiny lips of the woman.

Then she looked back at Lily's sweet face. His smile slowly faded, suddenly he was afraid of one thing. She worries Lily will soon find out about her past. She begins to worry that Lily will find out if she is actually a 'Cassanova'.

"Are you gonna stay like this when you find out who I really am, Ly?"
