"Choosing, liking and even loving is the right of every human being. Just like I'm going through right now." Seno stopped his words.
I know, maybe his profession as a teacher requires him to be more careful in speaking words. I think he must be picking a sentence that is appropriate to say as a teacher.
"It's not wrong, sir. I know, maybe humans can lie to others about their feelings. But not myself," I said.
I think Mr. Seno is in need of a place to pour out his heart. But I did not expect at all that she chose me to listen to her inner voice. It could be that he is currently feeling heartbroken because yesterday was rejected or maybe even decided by his lover.
"But man cannot impose his feelings on others. Rejecting one's feelings of love is also a human right" I continued.
Ah .. why do I feel like a patron. Shouldn't he who is more mature in age, have more valuable experiences than me who has never even felt what love is?
The sound of the bell rang out breaking the silence of the atmosphere of the student room. I started to read the situation. Even to pour out his feelings, he was currently uncomfortable.
It's actually very funny if he told me all that. He should be looking for a qualified psychiatrist rather than a high school student who hasn't even graduated.
I pulled the corner of my lips presenting a smile to her. There is no point in me being too long in front of him, even I will lose a lot of precious time from having to miss the next subject.
"If there's nothing else you want to say, I'll go back to class" I said awkwardly.
"Tiara," he called. The young teacher stood up from his chair. But doubt was again on his face.
"Is there anything else you need to say?" my many.
Mr. Seno was stunned for a moment before waving his one hand. "Go back to class."
Of course the order was like a breath of fresh wind to me. I immediately left in front of him. What an awkward situation. All this time I even tried my best not to deal with this killer teacher.
The entire corridor of the classroom had been deserted. None of the students were still wandering outside the classroom. Only a few students in sports uniforms seemed to be in a hurry to the sports hall.
"Near!" Someone's voice was behind me.
I spontaneously turned to the origin of the sound. A male student in his gym uniform slowed his pace.
"I've heard all the slanted news." Ricky slowly approached me. The young man looked at my pair of eyes sharply. The man who once expressed his love for me pulled one corner of his lips.
"I really don't understand your taste." The young man's one hand held my shoulder. "So ... You refused me just to .. accept Mr Seno as your lover?"
My eyes are rounded. "Crazy really! Who's spreading news like that?"
Ricky laughed cackling. "Why? Are you ashamed of being caught dating an om-om?" ledek. "What the hell is it, how nice is dating an om-om? Ah ... is all this for value?”
"I have nothing to do with him. Uh! Free. I say whatever you say is free" I said with annoyance. "And I don't think there's anything I need to explain because you're nobody to me."
But at least I know a little what's going on. I stopped my steps as my mind began to open up over all these events. Like a puzzle piece that begins to look real shape.
Means everything that was said by Mr. Seno .. could it be that what he said earlier was not about his lover, but about me? But ... how could anyone possibly know his heart, while he was very careful even when speaking in front of me.
I was no longer focused on my lessons that afternoon. The voice of Ms. Ratna who was teaching about Citizenship was like a wind that passed in my ear. Even Shinta repeatedly poked me with the elbow of her arm as I was engrossed in my daydreams.
"I think I understand a little bit what's going on, Shin," I whispered in between lessons. "About Mr Seno."
"He likes you, even his girlfriend finds pictures of you he collected at his house." Shinta lowered her head as if she was copying something onto the sheet of her book. "She was very angry and was about to destroy the photos. But Mr. Seno …." Shinta poked her shoulders.
"What should I do, Shin?" I asked her with increasingly uncomfortable feelings. “How can he get my photos?”
"Nobody knows. The school has already taken Mr. Seno out. Today he teaches for the last time." Shinta described the news she heard as best she could.
Shinta turned her head, her pair of dark eyes staring intently at me. "You sure you don't have to tell me everything that's happened?" she asked me, as if I felt something was hiding from her.
I shook my head. “The reverse ... I want to know what really happened from Mr. Seno.”'s mouth
The school bell has rung. The students in white-gray uniforms seemed to race as quickly as possible to pack their writing equipment before squandering out of the classroom.
I walked out of the school gate. My goal this afternoon was to approach Big Star Entertainment, meet Om Marcel to receive the photo job he offered me a few days ago.
My steps came to a halt when I saw the young teacher carrying a fairly large cardboard box on his chest. Somehow not the pity that appeared like before, now I feel more disgusted.
God, is this why he said that he's just a normal human being and has the same feelings as everyone else? Is he saying that it is his right to love anyone?
But .. ah, that's it. That is his right. Let's just say I don't know anything.
But apparently, the young teacher had seen me first. This time I could not escape him.
"Near!" call him. "There's something I want to tell you."
I see my surroundings. No one seemed there. There's no reason for me to avoid it.
"A ... What's up, sir? You want to go?" my many.
The man put the cardboard he was hugging onto the table. He opened the box and took a book from it.
"You know why you like math?" ask the young teacher.
I nodded slowly. For many students, math is the scariest lesson. Not even a few who hate the field of study.
"Because to you, those numbers always honestly reveal a truth. Cannot be manipulated. It is very different from the human heart." Seno pulled the corner of his lips. "Father wants to be those numbers, who are always honest without having to cover up a fact behind it."
