Chapters. 16 - Antidote to Poison

To treat dirty blood, clean blood is needed to replace contaminated blood. One just needs to suck his blood out and let him drink the blood that is still clean.

The healer stared confusedly at Mu Chen Xiao's face before he finally went back to asking, "What does the young master need that medicine for?"

"No need to ask anymore! Just bring it for me!" Mu Chen Xiao said in a pushy tone while encouraging him to come back out.

After encouraging the healer to leave, Mu Chen Xiao was finally able to calm down and lean on the door that had closed again.

'Just lucky. If it wasn't for them, my head wouldn't be threatened either. But, how could Zhao Yuan rely on me to heal Zhao Bingyan? Does she know a lot about me including who my mother really is?'

Mu Chen Xiao picked up a dagger hidden behind his clothes and and and a large bowl that was next to him before he replied, "You just pay attention." He said as he looked for the snake bite scars on Zhao Bingyan's body.

He focused his attention on a wound that was on Zhao Bingyan's neck. The wound had been bandaged neatly and no one came out in the slightest. But unfortunately, the healers here were not expert players like Mu Chen Xiao's mother.

A neatly wrapped bundle of bandages, was finally removed by Mu Chen Xiao.

And after taking it off, he was so shocked when he saw the snake bite marks turned purple and like it had been infected so badly! There is a lot of blood that has been contaminated! He might not die for six hours!

Mu Chen Xiao turned his head back towards the healer standing next to him and immediately said, "Quick! Call the other healers as well as Zhao Yuan's old grandfather!" He said in panic and made the healer also feel the panic.

'Ck! The healers here are completely useless and extremely stupid! How could they just let the poison go without needing to take it out first?! If only I could wake up earlier, this would have been impossible! Zhao Bingyan's! All you can kill is me!'

Not long after, Zhao Yuan came hastily along with Li Chu Yi behind him after the two of them got word of Zhao Bingyan's current state.

"Old grandfather! I'm not done talking!" Snapped Mu Chen Xiao who then went back on, ",... We still have a chance to heal Master Zhao. However, it requires a very heavy sacrifice."

Mu Chen Xiao slightly laughed and then he said back, "How many old geezers will pay me to do it? Because of all the people who are here, only I can do it."

Zhao Yuan's face turned pale as Mu Chen Xiao said his sentence. He then again said, "I'll give you five thousand gold pieces and the tuition fee of the Hua Jian sect free if you manage to cure it."
