Chapters. 119 - Crossing the Valley of the Spirit

Two days after the trip to the Gobi desert, Yong Fei Palace.

The Valley of the Spirits is a border between the Gobi desert and a dense forest in which there is still abundant water. Then in the midst of them was a crowd of people with a chariot in their midst.

"Great teacher! Can't you rest for a while? We've been walking non-stop from Nianfeng." Ying Tian complained to Zhao Bingyan as her legs ached.

"You better not mess with me or I'll do something bad to you!" Said Ying Tian coldly as he gazed towards Mu Chen Xiao who had exhausted all his patience.

Not long after he heard it, Mu Chen Xiao took out a small medicinal jar that was only about the middle finger of an adult. He then threw the medicine urn and was captured well by Ying Tian who looked puzzled upon seeing it.

"Eat that! At least it'll make the soreness in your legs disappear even for a moment." Mu Chen Xiao said as he gave the medicine jar. However, this time he did not do anything strange nor threw a sneer that made Ying Tian even more angry at him.

"What medicine is this? What'd you give me?" Ying Tian asked with a serious face after he suspected that this medicinal jar contained poison in it.

"You remember when there was a black-robed man who came along with a woman next to him and they directly attacked Jinya mountains?" Mu Chen Xiao asked which made Ying Tian nod his head. "... Yep. The medicine was given by the man who attacked the mountains back then. He said it was a cure for all diseases." It was obvious that Mu Chen Xiao who then made Shang Ren's expression turned to be extremely shocked the moment he heard it.

"Why give it to me? It's a little too." Ying Tian's chirp as he felt the medicinal jar in his hand feel lighter.

"Easy! Just eat! I don't want to hear all of your complaints let alone having to walk next to you!" Mu Chen Xiao's granddaughter who had returned invited Ying Tian's anger.

Both are on the left side. Gu Qiaomei who was at that time to the right of the horse carriage looked not exhausted at all but, this was very different from what Yun Qing was experiencing right now.

"Huh! Why should I be involved in this?" Jiao Biao muttered after he saw a bright yellow light at the end of the valley.

"We will rest if we find a cave in the desert. For a while we'll keep walking." Zhao Bingyan exclaimed at the entire army that was behind him including the other sect disciples.

The entire person was speechless even though there were some who felt astonished when they heard it. Zhao Bingyan thought that these people had abilities equal to that of a general but, the entire Palace army that was here was just an ordinary person.

"Gee! So annoying! Why do we have to find a rock cave if we want to rest?!" Mu Chen Xiao muttered while folding his hands.

"What's your boy? Are you tired after the trip?" Said Yan Fengying who had previously heard Mu Chen Xiao's entire words and he gave her a mocking look and a grin. "... By the way, you're a lot more different than you were seven years ago."

Instantly the entire army fell silent back in the middle of the valley.

Shang Ren seemed to ignore Yan Fengying's entire words. He immediately ran his horse back followed by the other troops excluding Yan Fengying who was still stopped at the same place.

Yan Fengying who was still speechless in place, gave a cold look towards Shang Ren who seemed to be ignoring him. He hardened his fist and drew an arrow from his right hand.

Without a second thought, he immediately pulled his arrow back and the arrow shot towards Shang Ren who was in the front row.

However, when the arrow almost pierced through the skin and flesh, suddenly a lightning flash appeared and destroyed the arrow. Though it should be, the arrow is an arrow that is very difficult to destroy even using a martial art sword.

”Oh no. It's happening again! I didn't do anything at all but, the whole view is pointing at me?” inner Mu Chen Xiao felt surprised by what he was currently doing

"Mu Chen Xiao! Are you trying to protect her?" Asked Yan Fengying who made the entire army instantly come to a halt back.

"I didn't do it!" Chirping Mu Chen Xiao. "... I have no intention of getting him out again."

Li Zhu who saw that and found out that what Mu Chen Xiao said was true if he accidentally unleashed his own power. This is the same as when they were attacked by hungry tigers.
