In the silence of the night, only the breaths of the two men sitting side by side sounded. Rangga told a long story while Ernest, being a listener.
"You don't have to ask how much I love Anastasya and how much this self wants to have." Rangga took a deep breath. "But fate never allowed us to be together." Rangga was desperate. He just stared blankly ahead. Talking about the past that he never forgot until this moment.
"I still clearly remember his face when we first met." Suddenly Rangga's lips smiled. He imagined what Anastasya's face was like. "I saw it in the shopping mall. He works there. His face, his smile, even now I remember." Breathing sounds again.
In his seat, Ernest just stood still and listened. He also didn't want to ask what else was going on. Ernest felt that the Uncle only needed a friend to talk and hear all his complaints. Apparently, Anastasya who is the mother of Natasya not only has a past relationship with his father but also Rangga, who is a friend of his father.
"When your Grandmother accepted your mother who was from the ordinary to be married by your father, in fact it was not similar to my mother. Uncle's parents are strongly against our relationship. Not just against but keep trying to keep us apart." Rangga paused speech. This time he looked at Ernest who was not looking at him.
"Ernest, you're all grown up and I've looked at you like my own son. So I don't want any of my past covered up."
Ernest now looked at Rangga, until the two looked at each other.
"I mean Uncle?."
"Being your brother Abigail, he wasn't your father's son with Anastasya." Rangga first sighed while Ernest listened and understood every word from the Uncle. "But Abigail was Anastasya's son with me."
Ernest gasp. More precisely shock.
"Awhile, what do you mean uncle?." ernest was confused, the man did not understand.
"Yes, before marrying your father Anastasya had a relationship with me. That's where Anastasya got pregnant, but your father was the one I asked to take responsibility."
What kind of truth is this?. Not yet relieved his surprise about the past Uncle and his father, Ernest was re-treated by a reality that was more surprising than before.
"I'm sorry but know it, son. There must be a reason behind what happened." Rangga realized, his honesty must have made Ernest start to hate him. "I'm sure if all this time your father never told you, that's why you're surprised."
Ernest did not answer as if confirming.
"Our relationship was complicated, but after your father married your mother and Anastasya asked to be divorced, maybe at that point they thought that the present tempest would end. But, in fact, it is not. I think both of your parents are wallowing in regrets just like me. Anastasya chose to leave, without bringing anything, and refused all the gifts from your father."
Momentary silence. The two men seemed to be preoccupied with their respective minds.
"Therefore, this meeting is like being completely reused by your parents to make up for their mistakes, yes even though your parents are innocent. If the presence of your parents is accepted Anastasya with open arms, but it does not seem to me. I realized, because it was the mistakes in the past that might make Anastasya difficult to accept me, but I will not give up so soon." That is how Rangga willed. In silence, Ernest searched through Rangga's entire story. He knows it now. From his family's relationship with Natasha's mother is also a life in their past.
Rangga was still telling stories while Ernest remained a listener. The handsome man did not expect, If the Father has a complicated and possible love story.. Stiffen. From the love story of the Uncle, Ernest can draw a conclusion. Where in every relationship there must be a struggle before regret finally arises.
💗💗💗💗💗
Weekend. Ernest had apparently already devised his own agenda outside of the world of work. This morning, the gondrong-haired man was already looking neat with material pants and a semi-formal shirt that covered his perfectly tall body. The guy wants to enjoy the weekend by getting some fresh air and.. Visiting Natasya's house.
Ernest himself did not tell about where he was going to the mother. In the meantime, he wants to keep it a secret. This is just an ordinary visit, nothing more.
"Where are you?." Ernest contacted the Secretary after the iron horse he was riding stopped at the gate of the house he wanted to go to.
"I'm home, sir. It's a weekend, do you need anything?." A voice from across the street sounded. Natasha must be confused. Because during the work holiday Ernest never contacted him at all.
"Yes, now open the gate of your house. I want to go in."
"Huh?." There was a sound like someone was running and sure enough, Natasya looked up from the window curtain of the room and Ernest could see it.
"Hurry open before I hit the gate."
"Well, wait a minute." Natasya's body disappears from the glass as the phone call is cut off. Behind the wheel Ernest chuckled. He gave a thumbs up to the security guard of Natasya's residence. Apparently they conspired. Ernest refused when the fence was opened and asked the owner to open it.
Ernest immediately put on a flat face as soon as he saw Natasya was knocked out of the door and ran towards the fence.
Ernest fell silent. In the car right now the focus is really on Natasya. The girl looked very different from a typical day at work. It is only natural to remember this holiday and its arrival without notice.
Natasya who was half running made her long hair that was not bound swayed beautifully to and fro. As well as his clothes.., Ernest unconsciously gulped as the secretary only wore a white shirt and short jeans that showed a pair of smooth white thighs.
"Dam." Ernest swearing. Did it come at the wrong time?.
The gate was wide open, Natasya deliberately opened it as wide as possible so that the Master did not talk more.
The car Ernest was driving drove slowly. As soon as it was right beside Natasha standing, the iron horse came to a halt.
The car's glass was lowered, and the look on Ernest's face was visible.
"Good morning, Natasha" said Ernest, raising the corner of his lips.
Natasha herself swallowed her saliva with great difficulty.
"Morning too, sir," replied the girl, nodding her head.
"Natasya, next time you can dress more closed when opening the fence for guests." After saying that, Ernest closed the windshield and turned his iron horse back into the garage.
In her place, Natasya was fixated with her mouth half-braced. Once he understood the words of the superior, he also examined appearance.
"Well, my clothes?." The girl grimaced. I will regret it for free. He quickly closed the fence and ran towards the side door. It seemed that he could not afford to enter through the front door and meet Ernest again in clothes like this. Embarrassed.
