The excitement of the event was no longer Natasha's feeling when she realized that the mother had not been seen since some time ago. Not only at the guest table, the long-haired girl had also been looking for the mother in all directions but found no results.
"Where's Mom, did she come home first?." Nervousness and anxiety that meergap makes Natasya not think to check first his smartphone.
After descending the stage to accompany Ernest, Natasya immediately ran out to find her mother.
"What's up?."
Natasya gasped as suddenly Ernest was already standing in front of her. Apparently the man followed his movements until he got to this place. Leaving the company event still going on inside the building.
"It's okay, Sir. I'm just looking for Mom."
Ernest frowning.
"Mother, you mean your mother?."
Ernest's question Natasha answered with a nod.
Ernest seemed to be sighing. The man looked around. Think if Natasya's mother got lost in this big building.
"Is your mother lost?."
Again, Natasya could only shake her head. Ernest himself sighed deeply. Imagine the old woman who is the mother of Natasha out of the event building until lost.
"Wait a minute, I'll send security to find your mother's whereabouts." Ernest turned around and was about to move but Natasha's hand held her back.
"Don't you, sir. I'm afraid that the invited guests will hear and end up ruining the corporate event." According to Natasya, it is not impossible if there will be confusion from the invited guests if they find out if there is one of the invited guests who is missing or unknown whereabouts. The media crew who were covering was certainly made excited, until sometimes building their own opinions for the sake of rating.
Ernest nodded, as if confirming the girl's words.
"Have you checked your phone?. Good time your mother left a message there or any trace of it about where she is now." Ernest tried to remind me. It might be a little helpful in a critical situation like this.
Natasya. He thinks and moves.
"No, I haven't checked my phone yet."
"Then where do you keep that thing now?."
Over where?
The girl glanced left and right and sharpened her reminder senses. He tried to remember where the last time he left the bag, as a place to store his cellphone and wallet.
"In.., at the table. Yeah, the desk." The girl recalled leaving her bag alone on the guest table after being called to accompany Ernest to stand on stage.
The girl half ran to get back inside the building while Ernest tailed behind. When passing by other invited guests, Natasya quickly set a relaxed face so that no one suspected so much with Ernest.
As soon as from a distance her bag was seen, Natasya let out a sigh of relief.
"Stay relaxed. Check your phone and call me if there's anything you find about your mother." Ernest whispered before stepping away from Natasya to join his extended family. Samar Ernest could see that Natasya nodded her head and began to step towards the guest table that the girl had sat at with her.
💗💗💗💗💗
Ernest sighed after reading a message from the secretary about his mother's whereabouts. Apparently not only Natasya who felt relieved but Ernest too.
The Atmadja nuclear families were chatting and enjoying the dishes. Arka and Erich repeatedly invited Ernest to speak but the man seemed unfocused and instead turned his gaze in another direction.
"Ernest" said Arka as her son was called repeatedly but never answered.
"Y-yes, Dad. What was it, you asked what?." Ernest who did not focus on asking back and successfully made his family who sat in a circle at one table shake their heads.
"Have it, forget it," replied Arka who realized that the focus of the son seemed to be split tonight. Not just focused on the company and family but still divided on other things.
"Em Dad, Mom, uncle and all I think I have to say goodbye first because there's something else I have to do." Ernest rising. When Arka's mouth was about to open, one of her twin sons had already stepped away.
Ck, you little boy.
Apparently there is something that is able to pull an Ernest to rise from the chair and raise his family. From a distance he sees Natasya packing her personal belongings into a bag and leaving the table. The man was sure the girl would come home. And what about his mother?. Although the man knew that the mother of Natasya had returned first but what about Natasya.
Ernest stepped wide to be able to catch up with Natasya's movements. For a long time he searched and finally found Natasya in the parking area. The girl was about to enter the car before Ernest called.
"Natasha" called Ernest and suddenly made the owner look at the source of the sound.
"Master," replied the girl in a soft voice. The look on his face was quite surprised because, not expecting Ernest to follow in his footsteps.
Could it be that there is still work from Mr Ernest that I have not yet done?.
"You're going home?." Ernest asked with his hands holding the door of Natasya's car open as if asking the girl not to move first.
"Yes, Sir. Is there something I haven't finished yet?."
"O, no. Nothing, just did you come home alone?." Ernest even lowered his head, staring at the side seat of the steering wheel that was not occupied by passengers. Yes, it is Ernest. Natasya had only come with her mother while the middle-aged had gone home first. So of course Natasha will go home alone.
Natasha. Justifying that he had come home alone.
"Come, come with me. I'll take you home" said Ernest who succeeded in making Natasha gasp. The man even gently pulled Natasya's wrist, asking the girl to get out of the car.
"Sir, what about my car?." Natasya who was confused as soon as Ernest took her to stay away from the car, did not mind calling what was wandering around thought.
My car, my favorite car.
"There will be a driver who takes him to your house" replied Ernest lightly still holding Natasha's hand to his private car.
Natasha. Especially when a driver opened the door for him, until he sat in the passenger seat of a luxury vehicle, side by side with Ernest who already looks so comfortable in his position.
The girl closed her eyes. Hah, self-cursed why tonight he seemed to get a lot of surprises at an important event the company where he worked.
Starting from getting the honor to accompany Ernest on stage, and now just an Ernest in a vehicle with him and intend to drive him home. God, what kind of surprise is this?. Natasha wasn't happy. The girl was burdened. If only he could choose, of course he would reject the offer of the superior and choose to go home alone. But what can I do. He could only resign rather than prolong business.
