Buih Becomes a Tapestry

Buih Becomes a Tapestry
Chapter 55

On Sunday morning, Alula woke up after hearing an alarm on her phone. He yawned widely and recalled last night starting to sleep at about 2 a.m. Because a little sleep makes him feel dizzy in his head. Get up to clean yourself up and make breakfast.

Warm milk is ready and able to reduce nausea in the morning. He drank a glass of milk until it was gone. Alula also prepared some snacks to reduce boredom and loneliness.

After breakfast, he checked his phone. None of her calls were answered by her husband. Lula sighed and leaned her head on the sofa. Imagine it hurts, let alone know the truth. Her marriage was not as sweet as she wanted.

Lula stuffed some of her clothes into a bag intending to stay at her in-laws' house, though Satria disliked her, she brushed off the prejudice and immediately took the car keys. He was really sad and wanted to have a friend to talk to. Driving alone for the first time may be thrilling, but Lula manages to do so until she reaches her in-laws' house.

Santi welcomed his arrival with pleasure. Moreover, Viona misses her sister-in-law very much. Viona closed her workbook and ran over to her sister-in-law. Although it was a holiday, a girl her age had definitely gone to the mall or to another place, this she was instead busy with her taskbook. It just so happened that Satria was not at home so Alula did not need to feel awkward.

Santi was very surprised mixed with the news of her favorite daughter-in-law's pregnancy. "Finally, you're pregnant and you're going to be a mother. Happy Lula, mom is so happy to hear that!" Santi hugged and kissed the head. As soon as Alula came, her in-laws walked into the living room, and sat on a soft chair.

Lula smiled, her affection-in-law was able to treat the pain in the heart.

"Well, Lula's pregnant! I'm gonna be a auntie!" yelled Viona did not lose her excitement. Because rarely out of the house and does not have many friends, the presence of Lula makes it very entertaining.

"How many months, dear?" Santi rubbed Lula's long hair.

"4 weeks, Ma." Alula pointed at her four fingers.

"Age in early pregnancy is very vulnerable, you keep the condition well and do not easily tired ya." said Santi.

"Yes, Ma, I also diligently drink milk kok." said Lula with a sour face.

"If in the morning the nausea is natural, dear, and if you can take time off filming!" santi's advice.

Santi saw her favorite daughter-in-law as if she was not happy with her pregnancy. Instead of saying Lula lowered her head and played her fingers.

"Why your face?" Santi lifted his chin and looked at his face.

"No, I'm just worried about Kevin. It's been four days that he hasn't contacted me, he said there's a job out of town." Alula didn't tell me about the fashion show yesterday. As much as possible he hides about Kevin's relationship with the mysterious woman.

"Try the mother who will talk to him, now you rest first in the room,"

"Viona yes Brother!"

"Yes,"

"Come on!"

Kevin wakes up with a million feelings of guilt. As much as possible he took away the love the more he felt the pain. He was confused as to what to do. Alula's name is now attached to the bottom of her heart, so it is not easy to take off the name. He immediately got up and prepared.

Finished cleaning himself, a call came from his cellphone which he put on the mattress. When he saw who contacted him, Santi's name was on his phone screen.

Kevin raised the call. Santi asks Kevin to come home soon, there is good news to be delivered.

The phone call ended, Kevin did not feel suspicious about Santi's request.

Forty-five minutes longer until than usual, as it is a holiday. Kevin shut off the car engine and opened the door. His steps looked lethargic and there was no passion at all.

The first person he saw when he entered the house was Lula.

"Lu-la!" Kevin was surprised as if he was not ready to meet.

"Mas Kevin, you're finally home. We need to talk!" lula's attack is impatient.

Then Santi saw the two of them as if there was a problem. He immediately approached the two.

"Kevin, how are you!" sapa Santi who immediately hugged his son.

"Ma-ma, good news Kevin. Mama herself how?" Kevin forced a smile that he rarely showed lately.

"It's amazingly good!" Santi took off his arms and held onto Kevin's shoulders. "Finally my mom will be a grandmother. You know, mom is so happy! To celebrate such a happy day, she asked her aunt to cook a special menu tonight."

"A grandmother?" Kevin knitted his eyebrows together and thought that his mother being a grandmother meant that she would be .. Does that mean Lula?

Alula looked embarrassed and lowered her head.

Kevin scanned his gaze towards his lowered wife.

"Yes, Lula's pregnant. You will be a father." said Santi. Santi then left them both.

Kevin's eyes sparkled and joy seemed to come to his life again. He forgot for a moment his illness. His hands moved to hug Lula.

"Am I dreaming?"

Alula smiled and took off her embrace, "No, you don't dream Mas, I'm pregnant with your child."

Kevin hugged his wife. Pecking his head. Heard such glad news. Slowly Kevin let go of his embrace. His face suddenly grim.

"Why Mas, you're not happy with the presence of our future baby?"

"Not that, I'm so happy to hear this news."

"Then, why is your face suddenly sad?"

Kevin was confused about what to say, then he was honest about women when he was in the fashion show at that time. The woman was like a brother to him, he had just returned from abroad and wanted to watch the event.

"Then why are you avoiding me?"

"Because I'm not ready to meet you yet." Kevin lowered his head. His voice sounded weak.

"What's not ready?"

"Here you go, honey, can't we just talk about something else?"

Alula nodded and believed.

"Have you done the USG?" if Lula knew she was pregnant, Kevin would have taken her to see a doctor. But he missed that phase.

"Already," Alula nodded, her heart starting to be relieved and the inner calm she got as well.

"What did the doctor say?" Kevin rubbed Lula's flat stomach.

"Healthy Mas," Lula held Kevin's hand over his belly and stroked him.

"I'm glad to hear that. Take care of our son while I'm not around." Kevin changed hands, grabbed his wife's hands, took her in a broom and kissed the backs of his hands.

"Well, is Kevin going again?" Lula frowned, thinking he had met for a moment when he wanted to go again?
