"Focus to the screen, Ndre. Your idol is in action" I said, pointing at the screen.
"I don't like the movie. I'd rather see you," replied Andre getting closer. His breath hit my face for a moment. "I'm really crazy about you, Lya. I want you to be my lover."
I pushed his body. "I don't want to talk about it, Ndre. Remember ... we're in a dark room."
"Then?"
"I know, if there are different kinds of people in one dark room, then the other is a demon." Suddenly I felt like a spiritual figure on television.
"Ehem! Ehem!" There was some darkness all around us. The audience next to me was elbowing. Also the one in front, simultaneously looked unfriendly.
Duh, so not feeling good. "Sorry, Mas-Mbak. I mean not you guys."
Andre apologized. Then poked me and said, "Be careful when you talk, Lya."
"Yes, sorry. I slipped," I said again pushing Andre's face. "Part of your hand keeps crawling, anyway, Ndre. You think I'm laundry, pake remes-remes so."
"Sorry, Lya. Let it be more romantic. I think—"
"Romantic what? Watch an exen movie, really, are you gerepean? Don't fuck around, huh, Ndre!" Unaware of my voice.
Instantly there was a tone of protest here and there. "Woy! It's noisy!"
"Yes, sorry, Bro!" Andre apologized.
Yeah, God! Why is it like this? I wish I could disguise such desperate conditions, reality like this. Suddenly a clown in the dark.
"I'm home!" I got up from sitting.
"Yes." Andre holds. "Wait!"
"Let me go home to Om Bram, or you accompany me now back to Della's house!" I don't care. A few eyes looked at me, annoyed.
"Just the same, Lya," Andre chimed in.
"Now!"
"Okay, we're home!"
"Now, Andre!"
"Yes, now I'm taking you with me."
"But your eyes are still focused on the screen!"
Andre's risen. "Come, go home."
We also immediately walked. Passing through a row of spectators who were disturbed by the behavior of me and Andre.
There were some voices complaining, swearing, and swearing, "You look around, Satan!" Apparently several times we step on their feet. "Sorry! It's dark, Bro!" exclaim Andre while calling out.
I accelerated, as soon as I got out of the movie theater. I want to get home soon and meet Om Bram and Della. Today too, all must complete what is stuck in the heart.
"Wait, Alya," Andre held back my steps. "We bought martabak for Mr. Bram and Della, yes. Or if you want, seblak at the end there is good too, you know."
I looked into the young man's eyes. "No need to fuck around, huh, Ndre. Take me home right now!"
"I only offer—"
"Andre!"
"Okay, we're going home now."
Andre gave me a helmet. Help put it on, then get ready to go. "Handle, Lya," the young man said as soon as the two-wheeler started to go.
"It's over, Lya. Come down" cried Andre as soon as the speed of the motor stopped. I refuse to come down. This leg is still shaking accompanied by the rumbling of a nauseous stomach. "Lya .. has arrived."
"I'm dizzy, Ndre," lamented still tightly hugging Andre's back.
"Why? You sick?" ask the young man on the bike. I said, "You brought the bike like a demon. I think I'm .. trance. Hoeeekk!"
Almost stir-fried chickpeas this afternoon scattered back outside. But I can still hold it.
"Defend, Lya. I'm helping you get inside the house, yeah." Slowly Andre got down, then helped me down the vehicle. Walking into the house guided by the young man.
"You know Om Bram's house?" I wonder among the dizziness that hit. Andre grinned. "of course. Before I knew you, I knew about Della."
"Ooh."
The day began to crawl. While the house is in dark condition. There was no light. Where are Om Bram and Della?
"Sir Bram isn't home?" Andre probing. "Ndon't know, Ndre. But ... The house is unlocked" I replied as soon as I turned the door handle and pulled it out. "No way they haven't come home yet. Isn't it the first day?"
"Try your phone, Lya. Who knows they're still out there."
"My HP is lowbat, Ndre. Just try using your phone."
"No pulse, yes."
I'm glaring. "Pake Whatsapp, right, can."
"My city is over."
Yeah, God! What kind of a man is Andre. Invite me to eat and watch a movie, but take care of my own HP, really, chuckle.
"Yes, already. Just take me to the couch. I'm still dizzy." Andre carried me to the living room, then laid me down on the chair. "Enough, just here, Ndre. Thank you, yeah."
"I'm with you until Mr. Bram and Della come, huh, Lya?" Andre looked around the pitch-black room. "I tried to turn on the lights first."
"Ndre, I'm scared." I'm banning Andre's wristband. Interestingly it approached. "Don't stay with me."
"City .... " Andre was interested until he fell right on me. For a moment, we were silent in the air. "Yes, I'm .. ah!"
"Now!"
Simultaneously, suddenly the lights in the room lit up brightly. Andre and I gasped. Bummer. Not far away, standing Om Bram and Della, staring at us in shock.
Immediately I pushed Andre's body away. Then he got up, stood up, and rushed towards the two of them. "Of Bram! Della!"
The two figures stared intently. The glint of their eyes was so frightening. Getting angry? I don't know.
Immediately I pushed Andre away, then rose to Om Bram and Della. "Oc, Alya .... " I don't know what to say. The eyes of the man were so sharp. "Della ... "I called the girl.
They both fell silent.
Andre walked over, then stammered, "S-I b-can explain, sir. B-b-barrows are not what they look like. We're just—"
"What did you guys do?" Look at Om Bram with Andre. "Nothing to explain, really. We've seen it all."
"Om" I said confusedly. "Alya not—"
Om Bram's hand suddenly swung. Her index finger was on my lips. "You're happy today, Lya?"
Be happy? Mean what?
"Alya doesn't understand, Om," I replied between the increasingly stomping heartbeats. "Alya just—"
"Cuy," said Della. "What day do you want this?" I jerked. Trying to remember, but nothing sticks in this mind. "It's Sunday, isn't it?" finally answered.
Om Bram smiled. "It's your special day, Lya. Still forgot?"
"What, huh?" I'm thinking hard. Still dead-end.
Della. The girl rushed to the kitchen, then brought back a large cake decorated with candles and other beautiful trinkets on it. "Happy birthday, Lya. You remember, don't you, now?"
I gasp. "Yes, God! Della's! Um!"
