Bloody Bond

Bloody Bond
Chapter 17

Dunka and two police officers came out of Fahri's room. After giving several testimonies according to the tragedy of the robbery and the persecution last night. Police took notes and dug further into the red wolf hordes of information that often unsettled residents.

"We'll come back to visit if the witness wakes up later. Thanks for the cooperation, sir." Dunka and the two policemen shook hands and left.

"Police always arrive late. And after that, they pretend to do their job." Sibu smiled cynically. His gaze swept across the corner of the IGD room where his son was being treated. His eyes are still red.

Syafa understands that his mother is so sad that she blames anyone. "And you're Dunka. Can't you please Fahri first before calling the police? At least he didn't get a prick for the second time."

Shafa looked at the mother. Didn't Sibu also see the wound on Dunka's face. Although not as much as Kak Fahri's, it already shows the possibility that Dunka has defended Fahri as much as he can.

Shafa immediately grabbed his mother's hand. "Mom..." Both of them cry again. "Kak Fahri will be very sad if you see Sibu like this. Brother Dunka has helped Brother Fahri, isn't that enough for us? What if Brother Dunka doesn't go through there? The fate of Fahri...!" Shafa could no longer continue his words. He could not imagine what would happen. Sibu did not look at him. The middle-aged woman instead chose to stand up and then leave the room.

"Mom...!" His eyes grew even more dewy as Sibu's feet stepped away through the door and then disappeared from view.

It was not Shafa's intention to hurt his mother. Shafa just wants to make it clear that everything that happens is just an all-powerful will.

"Your...! I'm sorry..." Dunka's hand drove the way of Shafa who was about to pursue Sibu.

"Let Sibu calm down. He is not angry with you or me. He was just upset at himself not being able to take care of his son properly."

Syafa looked back at the patient's bed. The sadness felt by Syafa. Dunka grabbed his shoulder braced, "We're sitting there yuk." Take Dunka.

"No!" Syafa stubbornly chose to sit on the chair that had been occupied by Sibu. Dunka breathed a heavy sigh.

"Sister, wake up brother. Are you still mad at me for not wanting to wake up? Syafa will follow the wishes of your sister if you wake up later. Syafa will be a submissive sister." Syafa returned as he pleased.

"Syafa, don't be like this. Fahri is a tough guy. He wouldn't give up easily with just such a small wound." Entertain Dunka. Shafa wiped away the tears that wet his cheeks. He turned his body around to face Dunka.

"Tell me how the chronology is."

"We sat there to make it more comfortable." Dunka pointed at the waiting chair. Syafa nodded. The two are now sitting in the same chair facing each other.

"At first, I from the next village drove Pakde Haji Ali to his father-in-law's house. Because Pakde's in-laws are critical, he will stay there. I also went home alone. With the desire to stop by my old friend's house."

"After I got to my friend's place, the car I was riding in ran out of fuel. I also borrowed a friend's motorbike to buy fuel through a shortcut where there was one person in the corner by three people. At first, I was worried. You want to help or seek help from people around you first. But after seeing one person lying on the ground, I decided to call the police. Because this includes criminal acts."

"So you didn't help, brother?" Sela Shafa's.

"No!" Dunka was honest.

"You better get out of here." Syafa. Throwing his face and shifting his body away from Dunka. Even the next moment he stood up while short-sighted.

"Syafa, listen to my explanation. I'm not the heart. I also want to help your sister. But I accidentally saw one of the conspirators' faces. They are cold blooded mafia. They usually hunt in a clustered manner." Dunka was still trying to give an excuse even though Syafa did not respond at all.

"If you act wrongly, your brother will not be able to survive. They will leave no trace after taking out the victim. The Red Wolf was not a worthy opponent for individuals. They must be in groups against him, of course, also with a powerful force."

Men will face distress in front of him with reason. Organize strategies and tactics so that later it will not be fatal. Dunka felt that his actions were right. He called the police and his friend. After that approach Fahri to help fight.

Dunka thinks if he can't beat the criminals later, there will be cops coming to the rescue. At least the criminal received a fair reward. The shame is, when he approaches the fight, just as Fahri is stabbed. From there he only knew if the man he wanted to help was a prospective sister-in-law.

"Let's say your guts are shrunken. You deserve to be called a loser." Syafa's sarcasm with a mocking tone. He still folded his hands on his chest.

Dunka took a deep breath. "Whatever you say." Dunka felt unappreciated. His heart is throbbing pain. Eggy's hurt. How could the person he loved not trust him? He decided to just leave.

Syafa cries when Dunka leaves Fahri's ward. Suddenly his heart was sorry. Wants to chase but his ego says no.

Dunka walked down the aisle of the hospital with a bad heart. Disappointed about Syafa's response to her. "How dare he." Dunka Umbrella. His lips felt sore again. But why when talking to Syafa is not strong? "Look, even he doesn't care if I'm hurt or not." An irritated Dunka sat in the front waiting room. A little far from Fahri's room.

Only a few people were there. Probably no more than five people who are each busy with gadgets. The clock shows at two o'clock.  It's still a long time to reach the morning.

"I feel like I've been here for so long. But why isn't it morning yet?" Mumbles Dunka. "It's good to just rest here."

Not long ago Dunka sat down while fingering his lips which now felt stiff, came Syafa in a hurry to call the guard sister. Dunka. Immediately rise up to Syafa who is crying tears.

"What's wrong?" Dunka grabbed Shafa's arm that was about to return to Fahri's room. The girl looked even more chaotic than before. Lost Dunka's heartache. Turned into a feeling of compassion.

"Sister Fahri convulsed."

It should be enough to press the emergency button. Why even run here? Inner Dunka.

"Why have they been inside so long? What are they doing?" Syafa pacing around like an iron. Occasionally peeking from the gap of glass that is not covered in curtains.

"How's my brother doing, Doc?" Shafa attacks when the doctor exits the room.

The doctor paused for a moment. Like there's something heavy to say. Syafa is starting to fall.

"The poison that was in your brother's body has spread to the brain. We've tried everything we can. But...!"

"But what, Doc!"

To be continued....
