Blackpoem/Black Poetry

Blackpoem/Black Poetry
Old book

AJ and Karma head to Raisa's residence. When the two arrived, the house was crowded with many people and a fire engine was already there. The house is already on fire.

Karma was fixated for a moment to see a small house that had become rubble and flat with the ground.

AJ is approaching the house. A fireman stopped his steps. But then allowed to pass after he told that he was from the police. Karma followed.

Carefully the two stepped over the rubble. The soles of the feet feel hot, indicating that the fire was not long extinguished.

"What does this mean to AJ?" tanya Karma is still stepping following AJ who is pacing around like he is looking for something on the ground.

"They burned down this house because they were intentional about obliterating the evidence."

"For what? aren't they the villains obviously."

AJ stopped stepping. "Eitherway. Maybe they'll plan something." He then crouched down to pick something up for a moment. Then rise and pay close attention to the object that has just been taken; a medal.

"What's that?" ask Karma.

"Medali the champion of poetry. It seems to belong to Raisa." AJ gave it to Karma. He stepped back to look for something else.

The Karma view also surrounds. He looked at the former kitchen. He stepped in that direction.

After a long search, there was no item that attracted attention to AJ other than the medal. He called Karma. The one called directly approached.

"I found a photo" Karma said, giving a medium-sized photo. AJ accepts and pays attention. The photo is a family picture of a girl who was being held by a woman and next to her a man. Surprisingly the photos of the two adults' faces were crossed out in black ink.

AJ carefully looked at the girl's face.

"Let's go to the base" AJ said. And both are headed for base.

There was no Alena when the two arrived at the headquarters. AJ called Alena.

"Where is he?" ask Karma while opening the window and the room that was dark suddenly bright.

"In the library he said," AJ replied as he moved towards the computer.

"I was worried that something might happen to Jap" said Karma, stepping closer to AJ.

"Hopefully he'll be fine."

About 15 minutes later Alena returned to the base with a bag. He came straight to the computer desk.

"I found an interesting history book. It may be almost similar to the Black Poetry case" explained Alena as she unzipped the bag and picked up a book.

Alena said again, "I got information from an old friend about this book. I hope this book helps." The straight-haired girl immediately put the book on the table.

AJ and Karma pay close attention to the book. A book that looks old is covered predominantly in green with the title Mantra.

"Sastro Tomo" said AJ reading a small name under the cover. "Is he the author?"

"Say my friend he's the author. I read it at a glance, and I think the content of this book is almost the same as the Black Poetry incident" Alena explained.

AJ opens the first page and reads it. Then the second page and so on. In the early parts explain what a mantra is according to language and terms. Then continue the matter of the origin of the mantra according to an inscription on Mount Kumbang.

"Mantra is something created by old creatures, creatures that existed before the first humans were sent down to earth. His name is Jikininki. Based on ancient inscriptions on a mountain beetle near the border of Central Java-West Java. The rewritten army of the kingdom of Galuh in the 13th century ...."

AJ continued to open and read carefully.

"Mantra used to be used to attack people without touching. But before being able to use a spell one must make a pact with Jikininki ...."

AJ continued reading, if shortened it might be like this explanation:

People used to make many agreements with Jikininki for personal and group benefits. But the use of spells for group advantage is very rare. One that can be found is when the 13th century during the Galuh kingdom is still standing. When a young man named Banga Aria used the Mantra to form a rebel army because he was dissatisfied with life at that time and wanted to overthrow the power of the Kingdom of Galuh. Banga Aria threatened the kingdom and frightened the people will be incantated if they are still loyal to the kingdom and do not follow it. But after a long effort he and his group only met failure because the power of the Mantra can be defeated by the ancient Ulama who used prayer as an antidote.

Then AJ continued reading about Jikininki.

Jikininki are old creatures that used to guard places on Earth. He is a good creature who takes care of the environment and keeps it in purity and beauty. After the humans came. And then sin was created and hurt the Jikininki. Until the Jikinindangan began to turn uncontrollable.

They began to incite some humans to use their power. Everything is actually just to punish the humans who have committed many sins.

AJ stopped reading.

"Jinomi!" AJ mumbling.

"Does this have anything to do with Black poetry?" ask Karma.

"Maybe there is." AJ's up. "Alena, good job, you got something interesting. After this find out whether this Black poem has anything to do with the mantra or not. And find out about the book and the author, whether this is just a fairy tale or indeed a book created from the results of true research. If it's true that you and Karma will be assigned to go to that place. Beetle Mountain."

"Is there a mountain?" ask Alena.

"There is, and indeed it is located accordingly, near the border of Central Java-West Java," AJ explained.

"What about Jap, are we just gonna shut up?" karma.

"I've sent some police to look for him and the whereabouts of the Black Poetry. But I thought without looking for it they'd be calling us soon."

"What do I suppose?" say Karma again.

"really. They could've killed Jap at the store. But they want to use Jap as a tool so that they can free Ruru," AJ explained.

"AJ I feel we are beginning to find a way to end this Black Poem" Alena continued. "They're getting cornered, aren't they."

"I thought so at first too. But after seeing their reckless steps lately my mind started to get distracted. Either because they're getting sloppy or they're preparing another plan."

"What kind of plan? I think with their identity revealed. They'll be easy to catch by the police." Karma.

"Karma, the crime of this Black Poetry has been for more than a year. As long as I think they're doing a lot of things without us knowing. I hope I'm wrong."

"You seem worried about something AJ?" terka Alena's.

"I admit this is the hardest case I've ever dealt with, and I'm pretty sure there's a smart brain behind it all" AJ said.

The room was silent for a moment before AJ stepped outwards.

"Don't listen too much about my anxiety" he said. Karmandan Alena looked at each other for a moment.

Karma also stepped up, while Alena fell silent staring at the photo of her late father.

"Alena! You're not coming?" exciting Karma. The one called to look and then stepped closer.

The office door was closed, both of them rushed to follow AJ.

"Where is AJ really going?" ask Alena. Karma shakes his head.

"Alena, look at your face I remember Frans."

"I don't think I look like you."

"Indeed a bit different. I remember Frans always calling me Bangkong when I was on the INU team." Karma.

"Dad is humorous. But he's a strict man."

*****

The car arrived in front of one of the houses in a small residential complex. All three down.

"Whose house is this?" ask Karma to AJ.

"One of the Lotus High School teachers," AJ replied.

Karma noticed for a moment the look of AJ who still kept on wearing a mask and dressed detective.

"Well, you shouldn't take off your mask AJ if you meet people. I mean for the people you meet to feel comfortable." suggested Karma while turning the eyeballs.

AJ looked at him. "My identity must be kept secret."

"It's up to you."

The three stepped towards the veranda of the house. Because AJ had contacted the previous owner of the house who is a woman with thirty glasses annual out before the three knocked on the door. And he immediately let the three of them sit on a wooden chair on the porch.

"Coffee or tea or Juice?" ask the woman who is known to be named Ma'am Guru Eli.

"Jus" answered Karma.

"okay." Eli was about to be kind but he paused. "Why haven't you taken off your mask?" tanyanya.

"I won't take off my mask" AJ replied. Eli then stroked with astonishment.

Sighing slightly, Karma sighed, "I told you you should take off your mask."

Eli returned with a tray on top of which was a pot of orange juice and three glasses. He put the pot and glass on the table, then poured the juice into the glass.

"I won't drink" AJ said. The three people around him were instantly astonished. Karma only realized that he had never seen AJ eat or drink. Totality as a detective. So the more curious Karma with AJ's face. Whether he is old, young, handsome, or ugly. Eli filled all three glasses.

"Who knows you're suddenly thirsty sir ..." Eli seems to have forgotten AJ's name.

"AJ. My name is AJ."

"Ah yes master AJ, obviously that's not your name, is it?"

"Of course" AJ replied. He took something out of his pocket, precisely a medal he had found earlier. The medal he put on the table.

Eli took a look at the medallion for a moment before taking it and paying attention to it.

"Medali district level poetry contest." Eli looked astonished. "Who's this?"

"One of your students may be," said AJ.

"Some of my students have won poetry competitions in the county."

"Raisa's Sister?"

"Yes he was once a champion ...." Eli immediately stopped his words because of the astonishment present again, "are you really here to talk about what? Does this have anything to do with Raisa? If there's any, why is that kid?"

"We just assumed he had something done, but we're not going to tell you first. Please tell Raisa in your eyes."

"Can you tell me what my student Raisa was involved in?"

"No. Sorry we couldn't tell you."

"Ah okay. Raisa yes." And then Eli told me about Raisa.

According to him, Raisa for almost three years of school was a good child and obeyed the rules. She is also one of the brightest students in school.

"What about his nature?" ask AJ.

"She's a sociable, tolerant and friendly child. He's every teacher's dream student, believe me. If all the disciples like him we would not be tired of thinking about the mischief of the disciples."

"His parents? Does anyone know."

"Raisa, who I know her parents have separated and she just lives with her sister."

"It's in line with the data that we're receiving AJ," Alena said.

"But I doubt that the data is true." AJ takes another item from his pocket, a photo that Karma found earlier. He put it on the table. All eyes were on the photo.

"Whose picture is this?" ask Eli.

"I thought it was a picture of Raisa and her parents" AJ replied.

"Are you sure? There should be Ruru there" Karma said.

"Eat it, the reason why I'm not sure about the previous data is because Ruru is not in this photo. I doubt that both are brothers."

"You can be sure this is a photo of Raisa, AJ?" ask Alena.

"of course. Easy me. Just by looking into her eyes I can guess that the kid in this picture is Raisa."

"What's the point if they're not brothers. Both remain criminals, no" Karma said. Eli opened his eyes wide. Alena immediately pinched Karma until the young man was in pain.

"What criminals?" wonder Eli.

"It's nothing" Alena said with her cold face.

"We still don't know their motives for Karma. What's all this doing." Bisik AJ's.
