Ice and Fire

"I don't think about them. Who called himself Black Poetry. A fool who has judged life is worth nothing more than a night market shirt." The actress spoke out on a podium at a private television talk show.

AJ turned off the television. "How dare this Yuke."

"You have no mind" Karma said.

"He did not know the dangers of black poetry. Young people do like not to pay attention to the value of their lives," said AJ.

"Or actually he doesn't care" said Alena who was sitting in the front seat of the computer."

"That's possible. The boy I saw had no spirit in life" Cerocos Karma.

"It seems that I have to take action before something bad happens to her" AJ said. "Karma, go to Yuke's apartment. Take care of him tonight."

Karma scrunched his forehead. "It's not that I don't want to, you know Yuke doesn't want to be taken care of by me, '" explained Karma who was lazy to deal with Yuke again.

"I don't care about it, go away" AJ said, and Karma couldn't resist.

The Talkshow show is over. The rating of the event Yuke attended was really high. Regardless of the time the show aired during prime time, the charm of Yuke is indeed extraordinary. The girl does have charisma: young, beautiful, agile, intelligent.

Yuke, Vienna and Frans arrive at the parking lot. Frans opens the back door of the car for Yuke. The man of Batak descent was really like a private driver now. A car stopped near them. And out came 4 men dressed in police clothes. Frans came over and spoke to them for a moment.

The front door of the car is open. Frans sat in the steering wheel.

"Who are they Frans?" yuke asked as he watched the four men."

"They're cops sent by my boss to escort us Miss," Frans replied, "wear Miss' seat belt." The car then sped up and the car 4 policemen were riding followed towards Yuke's apartment.

The three arrive at Yuke's apartment door. There Karma was waiting while standing leaning against the wall. Yuke immediately narrowed his eyes knowing the whereabouts of the young man.

"What are you doing here?" yuke asked unfriendly.

"I was assigned to take care of you" answered Karma lazily.

"I told you I don't want to be taken care of by you."

"I want to take care of you too. But this is my superior's order. And I don't want to argue now."

"Miss Yuke, mending straight to rest," the new Vienna pinta opened the door. Yuke agreed and did not bother about the presence of Karma anymore. He was tired of arguing too.

"You guys wait in the front room first. We're gonna take a shower." Vienna.

"We just wait outside because we want to smoke," Frans said.

"Yes already." Vienna came in and closed the door.

"Karma you have a cigarette?" ask Frans later. "My cigarette's up." Karma is giving away cigarettes. Frans accepted and started smoking.

"AJ said he also sent the police to guard Yuke?" ask Karma.

"They're in the parking lot." Frans blew smoke out of his mouth.

Remembering something Karma then took the phone from his pocket. Sitt's! There's an unanswered call from Krina. Looks like her fiance called when he was on his way here earlier. Karma called Krina.

Frans is kind of watching while smoking his cigarette.

"French!" said a voice from his earpiece that was none other than AJ's voice.

Frans pressed his earpiece to make AJ's voice sound clearer. "What's AJ doing?"

"I got a report that there was a sudden death in a cafe not far from where you are now. Go now with the cop I sent you."

"Good." The connection was then cut off. Frans looked at Karma who was still busy calling.

"Karma. Turn off your phone" Frans told me later. Karma glanced at him for a moment and then obeyed his colleague's orders. Frans then tells AJ's orders.

"I was the only one there, Frans. I don't want to mess with that Yuke alone."

"Basic. This task will be the task of investigation. You don't have any knowledge about the investigation. Just follow AJ's orders."

Karma breathed deeply. "What can I do." Frans shook his head and then walked away.

Thinking it would be a long time to wait for Yuke and Vienna to bathe, Karma immediately sat on the doorstep. And his guess was right only an hour later the door finally opened.

"You take a bath for a long time" Karma said to Yuke. He then went into the apartment and went straight to the sofa to relax.

"Where's Frans?" Yuke looks into the hallway looking for Frans' whereabouts.

"He has a job from the boss." Hearing Karma's explanation, Yuke immediately closed and locked the door.

"Hey why did you fall asleep. You're told to take care of me" Yuke snapped, looking at Karma.

"Just for a moment" said Karma lazily.

"Basic lazy cop. Frans has always obeyed me. Remember Karma I've paid you dearly for this task so be serious."

Karma ears suddenly felt hot right now. That kid always pisses him off. Karma. "Whisper this you, I've always done a hundred percent duty."

"Huh. Dirty." Yuke looks to hold back the sleepiness.

"Sleep Miss Yuke" said Vienna, who was suddenly beside her. "Karma will do his best, trust him."

"Sleep there, it's so noisy to be human," grumbled Karma then with his face all upset. Just this time he found actress Sesongong Yuke. She is just a newcomer actress.

Vienna sits next to Karma. "Please forgive Miss Yuke, Mr. Karma."

"Please don't call me master, I'm still young Vienna."

"Alright, Karma, please forgive Miss Yuke."

"Do you remember my name?"

"of course. You remember my name too."

"Vienna, who had the idea of the speech earlier. Yuke himself or he was told to by them."

"What's the reason?"

"Miss Yuke is a broken home victim. His parents separated when he was five years old. His father said he used to be rude to his mother even to her. That's why Miss Yuke doesn't like men. It seems to be trauma." Vienna stopped for a moment. "Originally you know, Miss Yuke hasn't dated until now."

A few more moments of silence. Vienna looked down in thought and a suddenly somber face. It looked. "One more time, when you brandished a weapon at Miss Yuke's head. You know Miss Yuke after that just shut up. Know that he was traumatized. I wanted to reprimand you back then actually, but I respect the police and your good intentions, so I let it go."

Now it was Karma's turn to bow down grimly. "Huh forgive me. I was carried away by the emotion of the time."

"It's okay. But I hope you'll make amends for your mistakes." Karma glanced at Vienna by knitting an eyebrow.

"meaning?"

"Karma, please help me so that Miss Yuke does not keep her distance from men anymore. I was afraid because of this trauma he did not want to get married. Please make him see the other side of the man, the good side. Make him feel love and affection."

Immediately the life of Karma seemed to be coming out of his body. What a joke is this, thought Karma.

"Obviously he hates me. Besides Vienna, you should know that I already have a fiancee."

"Make sure he understands what love means."

"And after that he will feel disappointment after knowing that I have a fiancee. It's the same as lying."

"I don't think it will be so eventually. Please Karma, Yuke just needs someone who can love him. He's definitely not gonna care about the breakup."

Karma. Omonga Vienna is really bad according to him.

"Karma, I'm sure Yuke likes you."

By the time Frans and the four police arrived at the cafe in AJ's intent, the cafe was already fitted with police lines. Some police were also questioning some people; it seemed to be visitors, and cafe guards.

"Inspector Frans" said one of the fat and red-faced police officers. He seems to be of Chinese descent. Then they talked a few things. Before Frans heads to the cafe.

A modern cafe, with elegant decoration here, some of which are abstract paintings and sketches of the city of Jakarta. It is also compatible with the modern Jakarta environment. The lights were still on filled the room, apparently deliberately not to be turned off. Chairs and tables are also still in place.

Frans and the fat guy stepped into one of the tables. They stopped near a chair under which the body of a man with eyes still open lay.

Frans crouched down and rubbed his eyes shut.

"It appears he had a heart attack" said the fat man.

"Here you checked Fury before?"

"Yes. I also found a blank white paper next to it."

"Could it be a Black poem?"

"Something."
