Bidadari Special
Chapter 79

The morning has come. As usual Satya was again preoccupied with her work, and her date schedule.

The phone on his desk was shaking. Satya rushed to pick up the phone while continuing to concentrate on the laptop and the files in front of him.

"One day you have lunch with Syakila, she's a model, and a hijaber" said Dirga, a friend who called Satya.

"Day, my day is busy, so I can't keep you company" he added.

"Then postpone the meeting. If your time is free, then we meet the woman" Satya replied as she continued to type something on her laptop.

"Ce'k!" Dirga hissing. "Come friends! I've been really busy these few days. I've arranged your meeting schedule. Your assistant and chauffeur have also been told, so for a while they'll all be with you."

Without replying to Dirga's explanation, Satya turned off her phone, and then placed the flat-shaped object next to her laptop.

The phone shook again, and Satya seemed to ignore the object.

Time went on, not feeling five hours had passed.

Cheeka!"

A man opens the door to Satya's workroom.

"You said you were busy?" satya asked as she saw a man standing before her.

"I've already made your appointment with Syakila, there's no way I'll cancel it. She's a busy woman. Right now, he also took the time to meet you," explained Dirga.

"Then?"

"Now, let's go!"

Without further ado, Dirga turned around and walked out of her best friend's study.

Satya hurried to follow in her footsteps.

*****

The luxury car that Satya was riding started to go. A driver drove the car to a fine restaurant in the city.

Looks like a beautiful woman with a modern Muslim dress is sitting on one of the restaurant tables.

The woman began to smile as Satya and Dirga walked up to her.

They shook hands and mentioned each other's names.

"Satya...."

"Jin...."

After they met, they began to sit face to face.

"Okey, the food's coming. Now please enjoy your lunch!" dirga said later when some waiters delivered food that Dirga had ordered for them.

Dirga turned around and stepped away leaving them both.

From a distance Dirga began to notice the two people who were enjoying the lunch.

Syakila is a very beautiful and friendly woman. She smiles every now and then when she talks to Satya, and Satya's eyes don't seem to blink when she notices the trendy hijab-wearing beauty.

It was obvious when the woman started to cut the meat steak that was in front of her. Satya's eyes did not stop staring, watching the bribe after bribe of how the woman began to chew her food, until the woman blushed with the attitude of the handsome man sitting in front of her.

I don't feel like lunch is over. Satya begins to leave the woman she is dating. The man in a navy suit started getting into his luxury car.

Dirga sat first in the car.

"Hows it? Looks like you two are very familiar?" dirga asked as her best friend began to sit next to her.

"In addition to models, Syakila is also a fashion designer. Beautiful, smart, stylish, must really suit you" Dirga said.

"Hmmmh!"

Satya began to exhale loudly, and turned her head towards Dirga.

"What kind of woman she is, hijab-wearing but eating with her left hand" Satya said with a face without expression.

"You mean?"

"After cutting the meat of the steak, he should have placed the knife, and moved the fork in his right hand, instead of directly eating it with his left hand. Moreover, he is a Muslim" Satya explained with an annoyed face.

"Didn't she learn how elegant a respectable woman was eating food" Satya added.

"Ce'k!"

Dirga hissing annoyed.

"If he's left-handed, he could have eaten with his left hand" Dirga argued.

"Again, you also often do it," added Dirga with a grimace face.

"That was before I met Hilya. Now I always eat and drink with my child's hands. You know why? Because only the devil eats with his left hand" Satya said.

"Omong empty. Who said it?"

Satya instantly recalls her past memories of her first meal at a restaurant with Hilya.

"Hilya said. But I read it too. If one of you eats, then eat with the right hand, and if you drink, then drink with the right hand. Satan eats and drinks with his left hand. Hadith Muslim history," Satya explained.

Dirga smiled wryly as she threw her face away.

"It's like ustadz just his style," murmured Dirga scuffles. "If you can't forget Hilya, why have an adventure" he added. "Basic men are not sane!"

"What did you say?" ask Satya.

Dirga looked at the man.

"I said! You are not sane! And, I'm tired of setting your date schedule!"

"Then?"

"Then meet Hilya, and stop doing this weird adventurer!"

"Hmmmh!"

Satya smiled sinisterly as she shifted her eyes.

The man looked straight at his tie.

"Return my date!" the door with a flat face.

"I've got a meeting, I'll go first!" he said later when the car he was riding in had reached in front of his office lobby.

Dirga could only look at his best friend with a look of surprise mixed with annoyance. He began to shake his head as his friend carelessly got out of the car.

"Basic crazy!" muttered Dirga by continuing to pay attention to the steps of his best friend who began to enter the twenty-seventh floor building.

Meanwhile, in a village on the outskirts of a small town.

"It's been two months, but ummi see, your husband never contacted you?" hajjah Halimah asked her daughter while they were both in the room.

"You always said your relationship was okay. But somehow, ummi feels, you are not honest with ummi," added Hajjah Halimah.

Hilya who was standing in front of the window of her room began to turn around, approached a woman sitting on the edge of her bed.

The nine-month-old woman was sitting next to her umminya.

He held his hand tightly.

"Hilya still wants to focus on the delivery process of Hilya Ummi."

"The same story, son! What's the problem?"

"After giving birth, Hilya will immediately file for divorce."

Hilya said it with tears

"Ma Sha Allah!"

Hajjah Halimah rubbed his chest.

"What's the matter, son?"

Hajjah Halimah stared into his daughter's face.

"Maybe we're not Ummi's soul mate."

"But you'll have children soon."

"I can raise my own son" said Hilya with a smile as she wiped her tears.

"Is your relationship beyond repair?"

Hilya was silent at her umminya question. In his heart he began to say, 'If he is good, he will definitely come to this house. At least, to meet my parents, give me back to them. Then divorced me in a good way.'

"Son?"

Hajjah Halimah started shaking her daughter's arms.

"Mmmm...."

Hilya shook her head.

"Hilya...."

"Hilya hoped, not just because he was a rich man, Ummi heavily released him as Ummi's son-in-law!" hilya said by wiping her tears.

"Son?"

"Ummi!!!"

Suddenly Hilya grimaced in pain by gripping her umminya arm.

"Hilya!!!"

Hajjah Halimah's face began to panic when he saw his daughter in more pain.
