Episode 7 of Wiratha

After failing to persuade King Awangga Narpati Basukarna, finally Prabu Krishna continued the journey to Panggombakan. The purpose of Prabu Krishna is to pick up Goddess Kunthi Talibrata, in order to unite with her son who is now in the State of Wiratha.

But before going to Wiratha, once again Prabu Krishna who this time accompanied by Goddess Kunthi who is the mother of Duke Karna, again met the young man on the banks of the Jamuna river.

“My son, I really hope you can join your sister Pandawa. I hope you can lead your sister to ask back Hastina State which is the legacy of Prabu Pandudewanata” father said Dewi Kunthi lirih…….

“Kanjeng Mom, I'm sorry Karna. Not that Karna has the heart for my mother and sister Pandawa. But Karna has sworn to be faithful and protect Hastina's bloodshed. And as a soldier as well as a war senapati, in Hastina was Karna alive. So forgive your son Mother, Karna will remain in Hastina” Karna said.

“Has your decision been round my son?”Ask Goddess Kunthi.

“Iya Mother, my decision is already round” said Karna.

Although with a heavy heart, Dewi Kunthi finally would not let the Duke of Karna to defend Kaurawa, which means they will be the enemy of the Pandavas when the Bharatayuda war occurs.

Prabu Krishna tried to comfort the feelings of Goddess Kunthi Talibrata,

“Why does destiny have to be like that Krishna? Is there no more just destiny than to watch my flesh and blood fight each other?” Ask Dewi Kunti.

“But why defend the wrathful angkara from Kaurawa?” Kunthi asked in between her tears
