The battle of the second day in the Bharatayuda war that took place today, left a deep sorrow for Prabu Daryudana. How not, Wadyabala Kaurawa must be scattered. Many of them have to die. Not a few of them suffered injuries both minor and severe. Moreover, among them even many lost their fighting spirit.

If that day had not been hindered by the coming of night, perhaps Kaurava would have been helpless by the rampage of the Pandavas.

In the midst of his eternal heart, Daryudana gathered the senapati and Kaurava war poets to discuss their defeat today.

At that time, the Maharesi of Bhishma was also in their midst. Besides the moniker Hastina Patih Harya Sangkuni, Prabu Salya, Resi Karpa and Beghawan Druna.

In Bulupitu's pilgrimage which was the headquarters of the kuravas, as well as a resting place and preparing the strategy of the night war today, Daryudana still showed wrath on his face.

What annoyed him the most was his carelessness and his eye-doubt, the Blessed One. He judged the old man in helping Kaurawa only half-heartedly. And because of his attitude, the wadyabalas of Kaurava became victims. They had to pay dearly by swallowing the bitter pill, a crushing defeat in his fight today……..

Daryudana breathed a heavy sigh…….

“Other elders, forgive me if today in front of the elders I am forced to be angry. Kaurawa today suffered a terrible defeat. Yesterday's victory was in sight, it was only sweet at the beginning. Even today, Kaurawa seems to have no senapati”, said Daryudana while holding back a very angry.

“I'm sorry angger prabu” said Prabu Salya, “actually this is not supposed to happen. All unexpected and calculated”.

Daryudana again sighed heavily, all still silent. No one's making a sound.

Daryudana then stood up from her seat, then said again, “Did Kaurawa already have no senapati?”

Daryudana then stopped speaking, hoping that someone would interrupt her conversation. He's still very upset. After making sure no one interrupted his conversation, he returned to speaking. “I do not know, is there actually an enemy who pretends to defend Kaura or not? Try the elders here think!!!”

Hearing the words from Daryudana, everyone was shocked. They did not expect, the king of Hastina was going to think like that. If you are just disappointed, everyone did regret the incident last afternoon. But if you consider there is someone who is an enemy in the blanket, it is certainly a very unreasonable thing. The most offended in this regard is Beghawan Bisma.

“What is Putu Prabu Angger? Is accusing Eyang Talkanda of betraying Kaurava?” Ask Resi Bisma with a bit of a huff.

“I never said so. But Eyang himself was a war strategist. I'm sure that Eyang already knows the answer.” Daryudana.

Daryudana paused for a moment, then asked Resi Bisma, “ but why, when Eyang had the chance to attack them, instead Eyang did not use the opportunity, he said, even as if it would give space to them to attack?  Until finally they managed to kill the coachman of the train Eyang and resulted in Eyang being carried away running out of the battlefield. Did Eyang intentionally do that to have Kaurawa exterminated them?”

“Jeez Putu Prabu, why do putu prabu think like that?” Ask Bisma.

“Be careful to be bright. Which is heavier defending Pandavas right compared to Kaurawa?” Ask Daryudana full of questions.

“Putu Prabu, what good is Eyang here, if Eyang does not defend the putu prabu and the Kauravas? Is it so that his nista Eyang Talkanda, to be a traitor.” Rishi stopped talking for a moment. “Putu Prabu, he had eaten and lived with Putu prabu, and he was also aware that Eyang was part of the State of Hastina. “Saying is easy. But the reality proves. I saw, he deliberately gave the Pandavas a chance to attack Kaurawa” said Daryudana.

“Putu Prabu, what should you do to make putu prabu believe that you really really defend Kaurawa?” the Resi Bisma.

Everyone present was silent. The debate between his grandfather and grandson did look increasingly tapering. Resi Bisma felt cornered, while Daryudana felt that Resi Bisma was heavier and more defensive of Pandavas.

“Sorry Prabu Salya. I still can't believe that Eyang Bisma really defended Kaurawa wholeheartedly. For that, I would like to test the immaturity of Eyang Bhishma. I want to advance to the battlefield with him. I don't accept, Kaurawa was made a game rabbit by the Pandavas. Tomorrow must be avenged the pain and suffering of the soldiers of Kaurawa today” said Daryudana.

“If Putu Prabu's will is so, he is only willing to run command”, said Resi Bisma.

Everyone breathed heavily. But Daryudana was King. In the Javanese proverb ‘sabda pandita ratu’. Every word of a king shall become law in the order of the State.

Finally, the elders and those present decided to raise the Maharesi of Bhishma to be the mahasenapati of the Kaurava war on the third day. In Daryudana's calculations, if he and Beghawan Bhishma advance together in a war that will take place tomorrow, then to achieve victory is not difficult. Moreover, coupled with the loss of some senapati from the Pandavas on the first day of Bharatayuda.

As is known, some of the Pandavas had already fallen on the first day of Bharatayuda. Among them are North Raden, Raden Arya Seta and Raden Wratsangka. Not to mention the lower and middle class soldiers who were also victims. Of course, the power of the Pandavas has been reduced a lot.

The power of Pandavas will also be reduced with the injury of Prabu Krishna although not too severe.

Daryudana calculated, if indeed Beghawan Bisma supports Kaurava wholeheartedly, then it is not difficult to roll the Pandavas up to the root of the roots. And tomorrow morning is the right time to see the seriousness of the Resi Bhishma in defending the Kauravas.

The night is getting late, Bulupitu's boarding house is quiet again. Tegal Kurusetra is back as a party for vultures. They cheered with excitement. Their voices sang a terrible death song. Silent, silent yet gripping and frightening.
