BETWEEN YOU AND HIM
The Part 52
" Rey.. isn't that Syifa's car?" exclaim Ardan.
Reyhan who heard Ardan's exclamation immediately turned to the direction pointed by Ardan. Reyhan is indeed one car with Ardan because Ardan was picked up by Sony when he was going to meet Reyhan. Now Sony has to go back to the hospital because there are patients that he has to deal with.
" Yes, Dan. Quickly follow the car." Reyhan said.
" Rey, isn't this the way to your house?"
" Yes, it's easy - I hope he's okay."
Ardan glanced at the tired face of his best friend. Can't guess what he's thinking right now.
" Rey, is that foreign girl more important to you than Syifa?" asked Ardan with a focused gaze forward.
" As important as the girl is, Syifa is my life. Only Syifa can understand my situation. Although many times I let her down, she never really got mad at me." Reyhan replied.
" And you used that kindness?"
" No, I tried to give my best for him. But right now I don't know what he really wants. He always keeps his wounds alone."
" He's just pretending to be strong, Rey. He's survived this long because of your parents. Syifa told me once, even if she doesn't match you later, she'll never leave your parents who gave her life."
" Maybe I can't understand him, Dan. But I promise I will never leave him. She's the only woman who can make me fall in love."
Before long, Syifa's car entered the gate of her house. Ardan also continued to follow him until he went inside. Reyhan gets out of the car to chase after his girlfriend.
When the car door opened, it was not Syifa who came out, but a young man with a simple appearance. He immediately walked around and opened the back door.
" Look, Miss."
The man greeted Syifa with a girl next to him. Reyhan immediately ran towards Syifa followed by Ardan.
" Dear, what's wrong with you?" exclaim Reyhan.
Syifa did not look at Reyhan at all. His weak body made him reluctant to speak.
" Lin, take me inside." said Syifa slowly.
" Dear, I'm the one who brought you inside?" persuade Reyhan.
" Come, Lin. I am no longer strong to stand." shirk Syifa.
" Good, Non."
Reyhan who still wants to pursue Syifa is detained by Ardan. He takes Reyhan to sit in the garden next to the house followed by Danang.
" Rey, I told you earlier. Let Syifa rest." said Ardan.
" He seems to be sick, Dan. I need to know how he is."
Ardan stared intensely at Danang, looking at the man from top to bottom.
" Who are you?" ask Ardan to Danang.
" I am Danang, Sir. Office boy in non Syifa's office."
" Why can you be with him?" ask Reyhan.
" In fact, this afternoon my wife and I were at the beach. I accidentally saw a girl who almost drowned into the sea. When I helped her, I was very surprised because it turned out to be Miss Syifa."
" Syifa to the beach?" ask Reyhan.
" Yes, Sir. Actually, I wanted to contact Mr. Deni to pick up non Syifa, but miss refused because she did not want to bother. The doctor said Ms Syifa was exhausted and lacking rest. Maybe she's having trouble because she's having trouble eating. It's a habit if you're sad, miss definitely won't eat."
" How did you know?"
" Out of the office, Miss Syifa is my friend. He always told me anything about his life. Just like when Mr. Reyhan left her unannounced back then, Ms. Syifa rarely ate while in the office. He always spent his time working until night. He was often overtime until nine or ten."
" You know a lot about Syifa, do you know what she really wants?"
" Miss seems to have no purpose, sir. He just wants people around him to be happy."
" Thank you for always accompanying Syifa."
Soon Lina came to Danang. They intend to go home because Lina's house is quite far away.
" Bang, said non Syifa his car told me to take it and tomorrow to get picked up when I go to the office" said Lina.
Not wanting to muddy the atmosphere, Reyhan allowed it because Danang had previously brought Syifa's car.
" Take him, pick him up tomorrow" said Reyhan, looking at the anxiety on Danang's face.
" good, Sir. Then excuse us." said Danang.
" Wait, I'm coming with you" Ardan said.
" Please, Sir." Danang said.
" Dear, I'm sorry I can't understand how you feel. I shouldn't have ignored you." Reyhan murmured.
Reyhan stroked Syifa's cheek and kissed the girl gently on the forehead. His body was a little feverish and his face was also pale. Reyhan locked the door from the inside and lay down beside Syifa with a hug.

At midnight, Syifa delirious in Reyhan's arms. He continued to thrash from Reyhan's arms.
" Detach! Let me go!" symphonic.
Reyhan who was asleep immediately woke up and saw his lover crying in his sleep.
" Dear, what's wrong with you? Awake." Reyhan shook Syifa's body a little hard.
Syifa woke up and looked at Reyhan who was hugging her with a worried look.
" Dear, are you okay, what?" said Reyhan gently.
" I'm sorry, I can't find him." said Syifa.
" Dear, don't think of anyone else. Think of your own happiness."
" Take me off, go away."
" No, I will never leave you. Love you, never leave me."
" I'm not who, there are others who need you more" Syifa said flatly.
" I just need you, baby."
Syifa released Reyhan's embrace and shifted slightly away. He wanted to get out of bed but his body felt weak.
" Dear, where are you going?"
" I'm hungry, looking for food in the kitchen."
" You're here, let Mas take the food."
" No, I can do it myself."
" No rejection, wait here." Reyhan said.
Syifa nodded her head not wanting to argue anymore because her power was drained. Reyhan goes to the kitchen and makes fried rice for Syifa as well as himself because Reyhan himself also forgot to eat from morning.
Fifteen minutes later, Reyhan brought a large plate of fried rice and a glass of water and warm sweet tea.
" Dear, don't eat it in bed."
Reyhan placed his food on the table and approached Syifa on the bed. Without the girl's permission, Reyhan directly carried her to the sofa.
" Syifa, you can walk alone!" peekik Syifa's.
" It's okay, it's called learning to be a standby husband." Reyhan said.
" Not standby but mode!" sumpul Syifa.
" Hahahaa, whatever you call it, but Mas likes to do it."
Reyhan sat Syifa down on the sofa and took the fried rice to feed her girl.
" A bribe huh?"
" No, Syifa can be alone."
" Give me a chance to make you happy even just a little bit. I don't know what really makes you happy, but at least give me a chance to try to make your happiness happen."
" Syifa doesn't deserve all that, Mas. You've helped Syifa too much."
Reyhan stared at the sad face of his lover. There might be disappointment in the girl's heart with today's incident.
" Do you believe in my love?" Reyhan.
Syifa was just silent unable to return Reyhan's gaze. Does she doubt Reyhan's love? Syifa loved Reyhan so much that she would not be willing if the man shared her affection and attention with other women. Is it too much if he asks that from his own lover?
