Betrayal on the First Night
Chapter 92: Fired?

Dew was still glued staring at the back wrapped in an expensive shirt that had just disappeared behind the door of his house. The departure of the arrogant man in an angry state did not necessarily make him breathe a sigh of relief. His heart was filled with worry.

If the man was indeed influential enough, why would Aby even challenge? Wouldn't that jeopardize his position in the office?

"Why stand there?" That question blew the Dew reverie. Without him noticing, Aby was already standing right by his side. Showing such a charming smile. Which then became a small laugh when he found his wife dumbfounded.

"The person ...."

"Why did that guy? Do I need to give you boxing first?"

"No!" cut the Dew quickly while shaking your head. He didn't know Aby's words were just a joke or serious. He can't guess. All she had to do now was try to temper her husband's anger. "Do you know that person, Mom?"

"Know. He's one of the owners of the company that May-Day is working with."

That casual answer made Doubt even more vivid. Look, how worried about coloring the woman's face again in a matter of a few seconds.

"Berarti—" He hung up the answer as if unable to continue. But Aby knew pretty well where his wife was going.

"Mean what?"

Dew fell silent thinking about whether the assault on her would create problems for her husband, if reporting. "That means he's not kidding. What if you get fired?"

"Bodo very!"

Only that short answer was thrown free without any burden. It was as if the threat was nothing to him. Unlike the Dew which is quite restless.

"When you get fired, you can't find a job anywhere else?" added Aby.

"It's not. Finding a job is hard."

"Who said? Not really." Aby paused her words with a breath. "Udah yuk, we go to the police station first." Aby pulls his wife by the hand, but Dew still hesitates.

"Are you sure you want to report, Mom?"

"Aren't sure why?"

Before Dew opened his mouth to say something, Aby had already taken him out of the house. Looks like he was really going to stage the attack earlier.

Outside the surrounding atmosphere seemed calmer even though it was still clad in chaos from the shocking incident.

Just about to open the car door, there was a call no less hasty from the side.

"Grow, wait!"

Dew turned his head with an almost expressionless look. I don't know what Siska wants to stop him all of a sudden.

"Why, Sis?"

The tight-clothed woman looked quite surprised to see the face of her neighbor adorned with red lines.

"Yes my. You were the victim of that crazy woman. Maybe he thinks you're me."

Both of Dew's brows furrowed at the call that Siska had pinned for the chaos-making woman earlier. "You call her a crazy girl?"

"Indeed he's crazy, right? Attacking people recklessly?"

"Crazy how much crazier are women who are desperate to be in a relationship with a married man?"

Siska was silent for a moment. It took a while for him to answer. "I know this is wrong, but Mas Radit came first ...."

"If you already know wrong, why still want the same husband?" cut the Dew fast, then get in the car and leave Siska just like that.

"No idea, Mom."

Aby breathed a long breath. "From now on you should really keep your distance from that one neighbor. Don't let you get in trouble again because of him."

"Yes, Mum."

That night, Aby actually reported the persecution of Dewun. Both had to spend a long time at the police station to provide information.

The next day ....

"Morning, Honey."

Dew was still deep when hearing the gentle call swept his sense of hearing that morning. When he opened his eyes, the first thing that came into his view was a face with a charming smile, which then gave him a peck of affection on the cheek. Then get up and stand facing the mirror while smoothing out the appearance.

"I'm bad luck, huh?" Dew changes position by sitting leaning on the bed. The number that the short hand pointed at the wall clock made him shocked. It was seven and she had not prepared breakfast for her husband at all. "Geez, I'm really bad luck. Why not wake up?"

Just about to pull over the blanket to get down, but Aby has prevented it. "It's okay. I didn't wake up on purpose, let you rest this morning."

Aby did not wake up intentionally. He thought the Dew must be tired because they came home late after reporting last night's mistreatment.

"But I want to make breakfast for you."

"I made it." Aby pointed at the nightstand. There is a plate of fried rice complete with a glass of tea and a few pieces of fruit. "So today you're lying down."

After buttoning the ends of the sleeves of the shirt, the man sat on the edge of the bed. Checking the marks on his wife's face. "It's still sore?"

"Not anymore, okay."

The dew was still sitting leaning back, when it suddenly heard the repeated commotion. The woman went straight to the window and flicked the curtains to observe the state of the house next door which could be seen from the second floor of her house.

Several large men were seen throwing suitcases out of Siska's house. Followed by Siska who seemed not to accept the sudden expulsion.

"I think the problem is sorted out. It's still on, huh?" dew Mumm.

Aby was standing right behind his wife's back. From there they could see Siska having a big fight with three men.

"Darling, it looks like you have to be more strict guarding your husband from a woman like her" Aby whispered into Dew's ear.

Making the corner of the woman's eyes wrinkle deeply. His gaze was full of vigilance. "Just look if Mas dares to mess with one's neighbors. I circumcision twice know the taste!"

However, the serious threat seemed terrible that even made Aby's laughter broke and blends with the silence of the morning.

"You who lost know, if it's circumcision twice."

"Why should I feel lost?" asked Dewun, still with a direct view to Siska who was still standing in his yard.

"If you cut it twice, the Gladiator will be short!"

Dew let out a long sigh hearing the strange name her husband had pinned.
