Ryan's mother came to visit

Ryan's mother arrived at Ryan and Bella's house on Saturday morning, carrying a large suitcase and a bright face. Ryan greeted her warmly and led her mother into the house. Bella also smiles and greets her mother-in-law.

"Mama, welcome to our home. We're happy to welcome you" Ryan said, kissing his mother's cheek.

"Yes, I'm also happy to be able to visit your house. How are you?" reply Ryan's mother.

Bella offers drinks and snacks for her mother-in-law, while Ryan helps her carry suitcases and other items to the guest room.

"It's been a long time since I've seen you, Mama," Ryan said after finishing putting the items away.

"Yes, Ryan. This time I went on vacation to Jakarta with friends from the dance store," explained Ryan's mother.

"Oh, that's great. Do you like to dance?" ask Bella.

"Yes, Bella. I have loved dancing since young. And now, I'm learning traditional dancing. I usually perform at events in my village" replied Ryan's mother.

Ryan laughed and said, "Well, then Mama can teach us to dance later."

Bella laughed and said, "Yes, Mama. I want to learn traditional dancing too."

That day, they talked and laughed together. Ryan and Bella love being with Ryan's mother, which always makes the atmosphere more cheerful. However, behind that smile and cheerfulness, Bella still feels worried and sad about the old photos of Ryan and his ex-girlfriend.

Bella is busy in the kitchen preparing Ryan's mother's favorite meal. She wanted to give her best to her kind mother-in-law. Bella felt a little nervous because this was the first time she had prepared food for Ryan's mother.

Meanwhile, Ryan helps her by cutting out the required ingredients and cleaning the kitchen. The two of them helped each other, creating a warm atmosphere in the kitchen.

"Bella, are you nervous? Don't worry, I'll be happy with the food you make" Ryan said with a smile.

Bella nodded, "Yes, I'm a little worried. This is the first time I've prepared food for mom."

Ryan hugged Bella from behind and said, "You're great. I'm sure the food you make will be delicious."

Bella smiled and continued her work. After she finished cooking, Bella brought the dish to the dining table.

"Mother, this is your favorite meal. I hope you like it" said Bella, putting bowls on the dinner table.

Ryan's mother smiled, "Thank you very much, Bella. You're so kind."

Ryan cut the meat and gave it to his mother, "Here, mom. Try it first, good, right?"

Ryan's mother tasted the meat and nodded, "Truly delicious. You're both great."

They eat together with joy. The atmosphere at the dining table was very pleasant. After they finished eating, they gathered in the living room while enjoying a cup of warm tea.

They talked for several hours, laughing and reminiscing about old memories. Ryan's mother was delighted to be with her son and kind daughter-in-law. Bella is relieved that her relationship with Ryan's mother is getting closer.

After dinner, Ryan and Bella sit together with Ryan's mother in the living room. They talk casually about everyday life. Suddenly, Ryan's mother asks about the child to Ryan and Bella.

“Ryan, you and Bella have been married for almost 6 months, but when are you going to give me a grandchild?” ryan's mother asked in a joking tone.

Ryan was surprised and a little uncomfortable with the question. He knows that his wife, Bella, is not ready to have children. However, he did not want to upset his mother with an unsatisfactory answer.

“Im sorry, Ibuk. We are still enjoying our marriage and are not ready to have children at this time,” replied Ryan politely.

However, Ryan's mother was not satisfied with their answer. He felt that it was time for Ryan and Bella to have children, given the age of those who are not young anymore.

“Mommy just wants to see your progeny, Ryan. You and Bella have been married for a long time. His mother also wants to see the grandson of Bella, you know how happy it is to see the grandson,” said Ryan's mother in a slightly upset tone.

Ryan and Bella looked at each other. They know that Ryan's mother really wants to see grandchildren from them, but they also don't want to rush and make the wrong decision.

“Mother, we understand your wishes, but we need time. We will give you a grandchild when we are ready,” Ryan said trying to calm his mother.

Ryan's mother still looks upset, but she knows that she can't impose her will on her son and daughter-in-law. He was trying to understand the situation and give them enough time.

“Alright, then mom will patiently wait. But, don't be too long huh,” Ryan's mother said with a smile.

Ryan and Bella are relieved that they managed to overcome this conflict well. However, they also realize that they must prepare more maturely if they want to have children, in order to give the best for their children later.

I don't feel like time is so fast, I'm finally going back to her house.

“ yes, do not forget later give good news for mother yes, good news about mother” grandson replied the mother with a smile.

“ yes bu insyaallah, later we kabari”. Reply ryan. Then she left in her car and we went back home.

The next day, Bella wakes up with her head still dizzy and tired. He was disturbed by the words of Ryan's mother last night. At breakfast, Bella looked moody and uninspired. Ryan looked at it and asked his wife.

“Why are you, baby? Still sore?” ask Ryan.

Bella nodded slowly. “No, It just doesn't taste good.”

“Maybe you need more rest,” advises Ryan.

Bella smiled broadly at her husband's suggestion. He really felt he needed time for himself. Ryan, who was sensitive to his wife's feelings, immediately agreed and proposed to vacation on the beach.

“How about we go on vacation to the beach for a few days?” bargain Ryan.

Bella nodded happily. “Good idea of you, Ryan. I miss the atmosphere of the beach and the waves.”

They immediately make plans and book airline tickets to their vacation destinations. All were well organized and now they both arrived at the chosen beach.

From the balcony of their room, they can see the beautiful view of the beach and the sound of the waves rhythmic. The atmosphere around felt very calm and peaceful. Ryan and Bella relax on the beach and enjoy time together, with no other thoughts. They also visit several tourist attractions and do fun activities.

When afternoon came, the two of them sat by the beach, enjoying the beautiful twilight. Ryan saw his wife still moody and asked, “You're still piqued by my mother's words last night?”

Bella nodded slowly. “I feel guilty for not being able to give a grandchild to your mother.”

Ryan put his hand on Bella's hand and said, “You don't have to feel guilty, honey. We still have time. After all, this decision depends not only on us, but also on God Almighty.”

Bella smiled and was relieved to hear her husband's words. He does feel burdened with the expectations of the Ryan family towards them, especially from Ryan's mother.

“Thank you, Ryan. You can always make me feel better,” Bella said as she hugged her husband.

The two of them then returned to enjoy the beautiful beach and the enchanting twilight. Bella feels very happy and grateful to have a husband who always supports her. He knows that with Ryan, he will be able to get through all the obstacles and problems that will come.
