Bella sat down in front of ryan's empty table, while cleaning up some messy paper. He swept a small pile of paper into the trash basket, and when he took the stapler to arrange some still-groomed paper, he saw a photo sandwiched between two sheets of paper. Bella grabbed the photo and brought her face closer to see clearly.

The photo shows Ryan with a beautiful woman. Bella recognizes the woman from ryan's stories about her ex-boyfriend, Lisa. Ryan smiled happily beside her, while Lisa hugged her tightly.

Bella felt uncomfortable when she saw the photo. He stood up and walked to the sofa, clasping the photo tightly. Bella thought, "Does ryan still hold feelings for Lisa?".

When Ryan returns home, Bella takes ryan to the living room and shows him the photo. "What's this photograph, Ryan?" he asked with a trembling voice.

Ryan was shocked to see the photo and realized the big mistake he had made by saving the photo. He felt very sorry and tried to explain all the events at that time.

"I'm sorry, Bella, I didn't mean to keep that photo. I never want to see her again. I'm so happy with you and I never think about Lisa again" she said sincerely.

Ryan was sad and didn't know what else to do. She tries to convince Bella that she only loves Bella and never thinks of Lisa again, but Bella still feels unsure.

They talk for a few hours, and Ryan tries to convince Bella in any way. She points out that Bella is the most important thing in her life and that she does not want to lose Bella.

After a while, Bella finally calmed down and accepted Ryan's explanation.

A few days later after that incident

Bella spent her night agitated. He keeps thinking about an old photo of Ryan with his ex-girlfriend, Lisa, who was found in Ryan's study. Bella was worried and could not sleep well. She finally decides to get out of bed and look for Ryan who is still in the study.

Bella knocks on Ryan's office door and he asks permission to enter. Ryan who was sitting in front of the computer was shocked when he saw Bella in front of him. “What's up, baby? You can't sleep?” ask Ryan.

Bella nods slowly and shows an old photo of Ryan with Lisa that she found at that time. “Ryan, why do you still save this photo? Do you still have feelings for Lisa?” bella asked with a trembling voice.

Ryan smiled a little. He grabbed Bella's hand and pulled her to sit next to him. “Of course not, dear. I only kept this photo because it is a memory of my past. I don't have feelings for Lisa anymore, I love you so much,” Ryan said gently.

Bella was relieved to hear Ryan's words. He stroked Ryan's hand and said, “I'm sorry, Ryan. I'm just worried and feeling jealous.”

Ryan looked into Bella's eyes affectionately. “No need to apologize, dear. I understand how you feel and I love you so much,” Ryan said.

Bella smiled widely and felt relieved. He hugged Ryan and they hugged each other. They know that every relationship has a past, but what matters is how they can build a future together.

When she arrived home, Bella was sitting on the sofa with a blank look on her face. Ryan walked up to her and sat down next to her.

"Darling, I know you're still thinking about the photo, and I feel guilty. I want to make you feel better. It's for you" Ryan said, handing Bella a small box of diamonds.

Bella was surprised and pleased with the gift. He opened the box and saw a beautiful diamond necklace inside. Her tears began to drip and she hugged Ryan.

"Thank you, this is beautiful. I don't know what to say" Bella said.

"No need to say anything. I want to make you happy and I hope it makes you feel better" Ryan said, rubbing Bella's back gently.

It was a beautiful Monday in May. At 10 a.m., Ryan was busy in his study on the second floor of their large house. Bella is still in the kitchen preparing breakfast. Suddenly the house phone rang, Bella immediately answered the phone.

"Assalamualaikum," said Bella politely.

"Coralaw, Bella. It's Ryan's mom, "replies the voice of the old lady across the phone.

"Mom, what's up?" ask Bella curious.

"Yes, Bella. I want to tell you and Ryan that I'm coming to your house in three days' time" Ryan's mother replied.

"Oooh, so is mom. Well we wait for the arrival of the mother later," said Bella.

"Thank you, Bella. I'll call Ryan for more information. Assalamualaikum" Ryan's mother said before hanging up.

Bella immediately informs Ryan's mother's arrival to her husband who is still busy in his study.

"Ryan, your mother will be here in three days. He said he would contact you for further details" Bella said.

Ryan nodded with a smile. "Well, I'll talk to my mom. Have you had breakfast, honey?" ask Ryan.

"Already, Ryan. I want to clean the kitchen first" replied Bella.

Ryan returns to his job, while Bella is busy cleaning the kitchen and tidying up the house. During the day, they watched television in the living room together.

Bella sat down beside Ryan and looked at him gently.

"Can I ask you something?" bella asked in a soft voice.

"Yes, of course, what is it?" ryan replied, turning off the television.

"I'm curious about your mother's favorite food. Since your mother is coming in 3 days, I want to cook her the food she likes" Bella said.

Ryan smiled and gently stroked Bella's hand. "Mother likes Indonesian cuisine, especially Padang cuisine," he said.

"Oh, I see here there's a Padang restaurant, maybe we can have dinner there with your mother later?" bella said with a sweet smile.

Ryan nodded. "Alright, that's a good idea. I'm sure you'll be happy."

Bella picks up her phone and orders a table for 3 people at the Padang restaurant. Ryan and Bella then went on to watch television while talking about Ryan's mother and their dinner plans.

Suddenly Bella switched the subject. "Ryan, I'm sorry that I looked suspicious about you and Lisa. I know we have to trust each other and I shouldn't doubt you" Bella said in a low tone.

Ryan was sad to hear Bella. He grabbed Bella's hand and looked at her affectionately. "It's okay, honey. I understand that you feel jealous. But believe me, I only love you" Ryan said sincerely.

Bella smiled at Ryan's words. He knew that Ryan really loved him and would never hurt him. They then embraced affectionately, feeling the warmth of each other.
