Fate is so bad for Tiyas. The woman certainly knew that the scale to meet Bagas might be large, but certainly not this fast. Moreover Bagas had already met Ken, it was the only one that Tiyas did not want.
Tiyas looked back at the face of the man she once loved. The handsome man whose age was getting ripe yet clearly gratefully tired on his face could not ignore. How the man's eye bags looked was clear and his face was getting thinner.
The more I see the more pity. And Tiyas was the first to break eye contact between them. The woman immediately bowed politely.
"Thank you for taking care of me, Ken," he said as he quickly pulled the child's hand. "Come on Ken, we're home."
"Tiyas!" call Bagas a little hard. The man won't let go of his ex-wife just like that. "I want to talk first."
"No need" said Beby who had been there since. The woman stared intently at Bagas.
Tiyas glanced around, how many pairs of eyes were so curious about his interactions.
"Lo ready for the car," Tiyas told Beby, who initially refused, but then tried to understand the position of his best friend. Then Tiyas immediately glanced at Bagas from the tail of his eyes.
"We talk outside, it's not good to see a lot of people."
Bagas then followed Tiyas who was walking quickly with Ken, until the boy was overwhelmed. In his mind wondered if Ken was his son? It is undeniable that Ken's face is exactly like Bagas as a child.
They arrived at the hospital car park. Bagas had not had time to speak, as Tiyas bowed to Ken first.
"Come in with Aunty Beby. Mami wants to talk to this Om first yes," Tiyas said with a gentle smile.
Ken agreed.
"Okay, Mami," he replied, directly walking towards the direction where Beby's car was parked. But only halfway back Ken turned his way around, a little run to hug Bagas' long legs. "Buy the toys delay yes, Om. Wait for Ken's birthday. Thanks for helping."
Bagas who found the sweet treatment could not not not laugh. The man immediately took Ken to his carrier.
"Okay, no problem. I'll come to your birthday party. Smart kid."
Getting compliments from people other than his family clearly makes Ken happy. Moreover, Bagas is a figure that is so perfect in the eyes of the boy.
So without hesitation Ken floated a kiss right on the cheek of Bagas.
"See you soon, Om."
And Bagas will not miss this opportunity. The man also replied with a kiss on the cheek containing Ken.
"See you."
Not wanting Tiyas to get angry, Ken hurriedly asked to get down and ran away into the car. Leaving the ignorant Tiyas to respond to the proximity of Bagas and Ken how else.
"So what would you say? I don't have much time" said Tiyas in a thin tone.
Bagas who realized that Tiyas had been holding a grudge against him all along could only sigh in resignation.
"Sorry for everything. I can't name one at a time, but I'm sorry about all the things that make you sick."
Being linked again to his bitter past clearly made Tiyas sick. The woman turned her face away as she felt a drop of tears might fall.
Difficult turns. Bagas finally nodded in understanding, perhaps this was the result of his actions many years ago. The man tried to smile even though it was heavy to pull the tip of his lips.
"Yes, I understand that. Maybe it's hard for you to apologize for all my depraved treatment."
Then only silence ensued, for Tiyas did not want to return the words of her ex-husband.
"Udah right? I'm going home, Ken needs to rest."
No, not just yet. Consider it selfish. But the man still wanted to linger staring at Tiyas face.
"My driver accidentally bumped into Ken who was crossing the road. As my responsibility, can you get your business card?"
Tiyas glared sharply at Bagas. The woman only found out that Bagas was helping because he was the bully.
"It should be a form of responsibility, Mas. I asked not to be in touch with us anymore. Forget Ken's talk, he's just a kid."
Bagas sighed, it seemed that it was difficult to persuade Tiyas this time.
"How areyou? Okay?"
"Mas, I have more important business. If only discussing the past does not need to," replied Tiyas quickly and firmly. The woman stared intently at her ex-husband. "I don't want to look back, so I should have done that too."
Bagas was silent, he looked at Tiyas who was now turning around and walking with quick steps. The man did not seem to give up, utilizing his long legs quickly Bagas pulled Tiyas back.
"I still love you, Tiyas," Bagas said in a regretful and frustrating tone. The man's face looked very tired.
Tiyas pulled out her hand that was tightly grasped by Bagas. He turned his face with a face full of meaning.
"There's no point in saying those words now, Mom. For more than three months I was waiting for news from you at that time, but what I got was even the news of your engagement."
"I can explain, Tiyas. It's not what you think it is" Bagas replied in frustration. The man wanted to explain to Tiyas with a cold head and not with an equally chaotic condition like this.
Tiyas chuckled bitterly. She looked at her ex-husband with trembling eyes.
"At that time, did you give me a chance to make it clear? It's not Mas. There's no point in explaining now, I'm happy with my life."
"That's my fault, therefore I'm sorry," replied Bagas who was still so hard defending Tiyas.
"If I'm sorry, can you not show up in front of me? Sick of me, Mas!" tiyas snapped with her entire body trembling.
The longer it sparred with Bagas, the more longing it gushed in from his chest. Tiyas did not want to fall into the same hole a second or third time. Living together with Ken until old age was the happiest thing for him.
Because I didn't get an answer from Bagas. The woman turned around again and got into the car. But again, Bagas held the car door in a chaotic mood.
"If you don't want to see me anymore. Can you answer my question honestly?" asked Bagas with his gaze so serious
Now Tiyas was beginning to get scared. His grip on the car seat strengthened, his eyeballs slightly widened. Waiting for a question from Bagas, though Tiyas hopes that it is not something that interferes with his comfortable life.
"Ken, he's my son, isn't he Tiyas? When you came out of the house, you were pregnant with our child right, Tiyas? Answer me!"
