Dragon War VI: Betrayer

Louis smiled thinly like a man who found something pleasant. His hands and almost his entire body were exposed to the red liquid which was viscous blood. His Magic Arm was also not too much different, there were still traces of blood flowing from the thin metal.

The iron monster was fleetingly dragon-like.

"You play with Astaroth. He's one of my favorite toys." Cross said as he turned away. "If you're alive, I think you're really lucky."

Roooo!! The iron monster named Astaroth roared loudly. Knox's body retreated due to the awesomeness of the monster's roar.

Knox closed his eyes and focused more on Cross, but Cross suddenly disappeared after entering the magic circle. Inside the magic circle was a person, but Knox could not see clearly.

Astaroth attacked with his hands that had razor-sharp and large nails, Knox dodged by moving to the side, but Astaroth's attack almost hit Diana who could not move.

Astaroth stopped moving. Astaroth then looked at Knox. Knox did not understand, but Astaroth's red eyes suddenly shone and some parts of Astaroth's body emitted smoke.

Astaroth then took a fighting position and mounted a horse like a human figure. Astaroth then jumped straight at Knox at high speed.

A 3-meter body figure was now pointing right at Knox while preparing to slash Knox's body.

Knox reflexively made a hole and sank into it. A shadowy figure of a monster passed over Knox and the sound of loud clashing objects rang out.

Knox was startled again when Astaroth's shadow had already appeared on it again. Worse, a light of mana gathered in front of Astaroth's chest. The light was a sign of a cannonball where it would be fired right at him.

The cannon shrunk to the size of a round ball. Astaroth then unhesitatingly shot the ball towards the hole where Knox was hiding.

BOOM UP! A huge explosion occurred, the ground was blown to pieces and smoke billowed heavily. Astaroth who flew over the hole turned his head towards the next target, namely Diana and Louis.

But that was when the purple light shot toward Astaroth from the hole where Knox was hiding. The attack arrived on target and hit Astaroth's shoulder, destroying his shoulder and some of his wings. Astaroth then fell down quite hard.

Meanwhile, from the hole another iron hand appeared to the surface. Then after that the figure of an iron monster appeared to the surface along with Knox who was a little tattered camping.

The iron monster that suddenly appeared was Knox's Magic Beast. Unlike Astaroth who has a dragon-like form, the Magic Beast Knox is shaped like an iron knight who wears a pointed spear and shield.

"I didn't expect to use you, ."

For the first time, Knox showed a serious look at the fight.

Astaroth got back up with some body parts destroyed, but after that Astaroth's eyes changed again like checking the opponent's strength.

But Knox knew, if he was serious about fighting, he was not a magician, but a knight who would fight to the point of the final blood.
