The Art of Death

Kuro and Laila entered the next room. Just one step into it, both of them could feel that the atmosphere in the room was heavier and gripping.

The aura enveloped Itsuki and turned into a white steel protector with a threatening red stripe.

The girl beside him did nothing and was silent, but a black aura suddenly enveloped him. This incident was similar to the one the girl had experienced before.

The next fight will begin soon. Everybody knows that. The problem is who will move first.

" ..Kuro, you know I hate fighting. Even I'd rather solve problems without having to fight, but it seems like I have no other choice."

Hearing that, Kuro smiled. But he came against Laila with his sword.

Everyone was silent to see that.

"Kuros?"

"Sorry, Laila. I always get involved in things you don't like. I know how much you want to take Lic back, but-"

Kuro stepped forward. A white aura enveloped him along with a strong pressure.

"Itsuki is my opponent. This is how I take responsibility as his teacher."

In an instant, Kuro disappeared. Then a shockwave occurred in their midst that was caused by the swords of Kuro and Itsuki fighting each other.

The strength and speed that were at different levels were shown as if no one could enter other than the two of them.

The three drove away without hesitation to immediately slash the girl's neck, unfortunately the three of them immediately bounced when approaching her.

Still shocked by what happened, Yui finally got up completely. He was back ready to fight.

A sword of fire shot out cutting the black whip.

"Laila, little girl.. You guys okay?"

Arthuria came to help. He's the one who cut the black whip.

Yui stood beside Laila. The same thing Arthuria did.

Then they looked in the same direction.

The figure of the beautiful girl who had originally accompanied Itsuki was now transformed into a monster like the girl before. The figure of a huge black snake with nine tos and tentacles around its body.

Arthuria smiled as if enjoying the current situation.

Seeing what was happening before his eyes, Knox could only break out in a cold sweat.

At the same time, he remembered why all this had happened.

-About thirty minutes ago, they arrived at a huge room after defeating a five-meter tall bear monster that had six hands. A powerful and deadly attack could pierce through their shield magic easily, but thanks to their new members, they could defeat it quickly.

Waiting for them in the room was a white-haired girl sitting on a chair surrounded by little girl dolls. It might look like a beautiful sight from afar, but as it approached, it turned into a nightmare. The doll around the girl lost some parts of her body such as her head, hands and others. A sweet doll is like a horror doll.

Without a doubt Jinn attacked first with a ground spear. He did so because he knew whoever was in front of them was the enemy. No need to stop yourself from killing the girl.

But when the spear almost touched the girl's body, the doll moved to protect the girl. Dolls are broken and scattered.

At that moment, a change happened to the girl. He sobbed and collected the doll-like shards that were precious to him.

Then the girl stopped and looked at the four of them.

The girl seemed to curse them with a look of hatred. He drew blood and attacked them.

Aldest was the commander of the Knights of Areshia. He was able to reach that position when he was young to show the talent and strength he had. In the battle of Dragonia, he displayed a very impressive and at the same time frightening strength.

A death god magic beast capable of killing with just a single slash. There's nothing scarier than that.

And this is the figure that Knox, Amira and Jinn are fighting.

By combining martial arts and coordination with magic beasts, he managed to defeat Jinn easily in less than two minutes. This was natural because each of his blows had a power capable of destroying a Knight Gear protector. It was not an attack that could be withstood with ordinary protective magic.

And now, Knox must be confronted with an army of skulls. He doesn't know how to fight that sexy commander anymore.

But that doesn't mean he's giving up. He knew if they gave up, they would die. Not in the hands of enemies, but in the hands of friends. There's nothing more pathetic than that.

Amira nodded and shot one by one the approaching Undead Knight. They're not so strong that every shot can destroy them.

The two walls used to squeeze were smashed to pieces. A huge hand figure made from a collection of bones appeared and shattered everything.

Red eyes shone brightly and showed his true figure. A monster made of bones with huge horns. But the most frightening thing was the huge sword he had in his hand.

There was no choice but to protest. Just by looking at it once Knox knew the monster could be likened to an A rank mage or it could be even stronger. How could Aldest create such a monster so easily?

Amira tried to shoot with one of her strongest shots, but it had absolutely no effect.

The two then dodged the sword that shot towards them. Their previous place was smashed apart due to its power.

Knox can't imagine what would happen if they didn't avoid it. Such a strong attack made even protective magic useless.

While thinking of a way out, Knox was startled by Aldest's figure who was already nearby. And with a fist filled with black aura.

Black objects emerged from the ground and curbed Aldest's movements. Aldest tried to escape with a thrashing, but free.

Knox's figure suddenly appeared from within the ground. He smiled broadly with satisfaction.

"just free. That magic I created specifically to curb the monsters in our school, don't think you can escape. Now hand over Aldest's body, you know he already has a husband who's worried that there's a little scratch on his body."

But Aldest ignored Knox. There's no sign the girl's gonna let Aldest go.

Aldest suddenly smiled broadly.

Knox realized that everyone in Aldest's body was planning something. And that was evident when a huge shadow appeared in front of Knox.

The shadow was Skeletal Oni who attacked Knox with his sword. Knowing the deadly attack, Knox did not feel surprised because it was a reasonable fighting style for a Contractor-type magician.

Knox didn't try to escape. He did not even look afraid of the great sword that struck him.

"You're done with the break?"

A smile answered him. 

"Of course!!"

Simultaneously, the Skeletal Oni sword came to a halt just before it touched Knox's neck.

Aldest's face was shocked to find out who did it.  Moreover, he knew the possibility that the person could do so was extremely difficult. 

"Fufu..  You might not have expected this, but other than her being strong, she also had high endurance. The wound you gave me was quite dangerous, but if we'd never felt it before."

Knox smiled with his sneaky smile.

Meanwhile, Jinn managed to withstand the Skeletal Oni's attack with a shield.  Of course just a shield was not enough to hold the Skeletal Oni's great sword, so he made something that could hold it.

",  have you heard of it? Sure hasn't. It was a special metal that was able to absorb any physical attacks, certainly magic attacks could also, but it was stronger if it resisted physical attacks. The metal was extremely rare, so it was impossible for us to obtain it. So we only had one choice, ..we made it ourselves by magic."

With an excited shout, Jinn pushed and flung the Skeletal Oni with her strength. Then with Amira's shot right in the chest, Skeletal Oni's large body began to lose balance.

Knox's words made Aldest's eyes widen.

At the same time, Jinn jumped in front of Skeletal Oni with the magic she had prepared.

With a single hit, Skeletal Oni stopped moving and within seconds shattered into pieces. 

Jinn stood up gallantly as if what she did looked ordinary, but what she did was actually not that easy. 

"She's still acting pretty cool., as you might expect, it's magic that's been perfected after not being able enough to destroy the enemy in our previous battle.  Ahaha...what happens if the attack is launched on a human?"

Aldest was still expressionless, but everything was clearly visible in his gaze. 

The person who had been controlling Aldest was aware that he was currently in a desperate situation. Even though the one being controlled was the Knight commander and the opponent was only a child, yet he had to admit he underestimated them too much. 

But it's not over yet.  He could still control the Hall. The ruthless killer magic beast. 

Unfortunately, while trying to control the Hall from Link, Hall did not respond to his orders.

Knox then smiled faintly. He was like a demon and knew everything that was going to happen.

"...I told you we didn't come to this place without preparation.  That was your first mistake, .... Gloria Ereona."

Aldest widened his eyes.

"Fufu.. You seem to be wondering how you know your real name. Of course because we're figuring it out. That's hard enough because you destroyed all the data related to your past, but we have an intelligence member who can't be underestimated. Not only your past, we also know the strength of each Silver Viper."

A faint smile appeared on Knox's lips.

Before they went to the capital, Electra forced them to be specially trained by Aldest. Despite being trained, they were more apt to have to fight against Aldest by risking their lives.

Thanks to that they knew how to deal with the Hall and how to deal with Aldest's Death Art. Although they had never succeeded before, now it was easy for them. Maybe this is because it is not the original owner, so it cannot maximize its power.

Knox knew, the Knight Commander was not just a mere title. But he did not expect everything to go according to what he expected.

A black light shot out from Aldest's body. And then, Aldest looks to be back as usual.
