The sound of Barkah's motorbike began to be heard at the back door of Shaka's residence. Passing through a small hallway, Barkah took the motor into the basement. Gayatri who was preparing breakfast immediately finished her work.
“Babeh yes?” gayatri asked Shaka who was making two glasses of milk for herself and Shaka.
This morning they looked compact together to make breakfast.
“Iyaa... make a lot of breakfast, fear Babeh has not eaten,” said the man.
“Babeh is never allowed to go if his stomach is still empty.” Only that was Gayatri's sahutan as she brought two omelette dishes and sausages for herself and Shaka.
“Okey, you are more tau.” Shaka follows Gayatri to the dining table. "Right, ten or twenty years down the line, we can still be like this? Breakfast together?" asked Shaka who sat down first in the dining chair while looking at Gayatri who was still busy staring at the plate.
"Ngarep lo?" decik Gayatri who smiled cynically.
"Emang! You don't understand my words?" Shaka is still with his efforts to convince Gayatri.
"Pengen believes, but who says Shaka Praditya, whose job is baperin people's children. Xxetox!!!" gayatri at the end of the sentence.
"Who said? The only one who said that was Arshaka Gibran, for Gayatri Sekar Ayu. Can't you make a difference?" Shaka said it really. Again, Gayatri became an exception, so he could speak plainly and openly.
Gayatri fell silent for a while, recalling the name Shaka mentioned. He said his name was Arshaka Gibran, yes it was not far from his sister named Arrasya Haikal.
"Lo can learn to trust me?" Shaka said seriously, he looked at Gayatri really.
"You know all about you, then I will learn to believe," said Gayatri who replied to Shaka's glance. They looked at him for a while. Look, the man is smiling a little.
“Pagii..” A crackling sound rang out from the back door, casting out the gazes of the two people whose hearts were throbbing.
“Pagi Beh...” Shaka immediately crucified Barkah, as did Gayatri. “Babeh has breakfast?” ask Shaka later.
“Udaah. I think I can go if I haven't had breakfast. He also cooked food. Said let's not buy outside mulu.” Barkah put all the good bag containing the food bushel. “Lo movedin Yes, who knows Shaka wants,” added the man.
“Iya, bentar.” Gayatri moved from her place, bringing the bushel to the kitchen. “Seragam Aya, brought not Beh?” ask the girl again. He seemed busy picking up some bowls and plates.
“There, in this bag. Enyak lo only bekelin four pieces of clothes, he said if less, just go back. Taking it yourself,” Barkah conveyed the message of the wife to her daughter.
“Iya, later Aya take it yourself.” The girl returned to the table with the food she had placed in the bowl and plate.
“How are you brother, safe last night?” ask the curious barkah.
“Faith. I just wake up for a drink. His sleep is also pules, no sound strange.”
“Keep, now you're awake yet?”
“Tadi Aya laki not yet, Babeh just check, where you already wake up.”
“Iya, I saw first yes...”.
Barkah immediately moved from his place and headed for Galih's room which was not too far away. He peeked a little from the door that was not tightly closed and saw that his son was sitting on the mattress while daydreaming. Find a small clock on the table.
“Tong, you're up?” barkah's voice is made as soft as possible.
Galih did not chimed in, just blinked his eyes, shocked to hear the voice of Barkah. Barkah immediately entered the room with his steps made slowly. “You drank no?” ask the man who sits on the edge of the bed.
“Lo will usually like to drink immediately if you wake up, let your kidneys healthy. Babeh also now diligently drink water. Let the waist not encokan. Uh not really? Is this because I am old?” Barkah continued to chatter in order to provoke the attention of Galih.
But the man remained silent. He smiled bitterly at his son. He took a glass on a small table and brought it closer to Galih. “Drink first, let's hurry. After that we have breakfast, later Babeh bribe pake soto make Enyak. You do not know that Enyak lo is now a good at making soto. That, the soto that he used to cook often if he wanted a holiday or if the house person had a birthday.”
Barkah brought the glass closer to Galih's lips. “Come tong, drink slowly. Let your throat not hurt and dry,” persuade Barkah with sadness that fills his chest. This ever-enthusiastic son was now just a quiet man who was somehow thinking about what.
“Tong... come on drink...” Barkah was still trying to persuade and eventually Galih collapsed. He opened his mouth and drank some water in the glass. “Naah sakep by Babeh's son. Do you want to have breakfast first, do you want to take a shower first? Let Babeh help you,” again Barkah persuaded.
“Mandi first, let seger. Babeh readyin first yes,” Barkah go to prepare bath water for Galih. He also put a change of clothes and a towel that is ready to be used.
“Udah ready to tong, let's take a bath with Babeh,” invite the man. He grabbed Galih's hand and asked her to stand up.
It was unexpected that Galih wanted to. The man walked while holding hands to Barkah, while the father carried a column of infusion in his left hand. They went into the bathroom and sat Galih on top of the sitting closet.
“The book comes off first yes,” like taking care of a small child, Barkah is so careful. All clothes were removed. Barkah began to take the Gayung to bathe Galih, but as the dipper lifted, Galih's gaze began to be wary.
BYUR.
“ARRGHH... AARRGH.... AAARRGHH...” Suddenly Galih yells while revolting. He pushed Barkah's body firmly until it hit the wall.
“Jeez, lo why? AYA!!” the surprised barkah shouted not a bitch.
Galih rampaged, he beat his own head and plucked an infusion of blood from his infusion scar.
Gayatri and Shaka immediately ran into the room and found Galih scrambling the bathroom with her naked body.
“Ayaaa, please Babeh, how is this?” Barkah looked confused, the man to the point of crying in fear and his body to the point of shaking, feeling guilty made his son go berserk.
With courage Gayatri approached the older brother. “Abang, quiet Bang. This is Aya... Brother..” Gayatri immediately grabbed Galih's hand and he hugged the wet body.
Galih was still thrashing around beating his own head.
“Abang, relax. You're not in anything. No one is going to beat you. There I am here. I'll give you the same bad guy. Lo quiet bang.” Gayatri continued to embrace Galih despite the man's rebellion.
Not long after, Galih began to calm down, he knew the brother of the bracelet he was wearing. Shaka immediately gives Gayatri a towel to bandage Galih's body.
“Abang lo calm, no bad guys here.” Gayatri bends her knees in front of her older brother, who she covers with a towel. His body was still shivering but not shaking.
“This is me, Aya. Ade lo's. That's Babeh Barkah, our beloved Babeh. This is Shaka, Aya's best friend. The man who brought my brother home. There are no bad people here, no one will torture you. Lo must believe me,” Gayatri said with great emphasis, he looked at a pair of Galih's eyes that moved with fear.
“I mean Babeh earlier, Babeh wants to help you take a shower. This sightseeing,” Gayatri grasped Barkah's hand and held the dipper together. Then take the water from the bathtub which then Gayatri flush into his own body.
Gayatri's efforts to water her own body with a dipper in the hands of Barkah, apparently attracted the attention of Galih. The girl rubbed her rough face to throw the remaining water on her face.
“Lo see right? Babeh also bathes me. Not want to hurt me. Babeh loves you the same me. Let your body not gatel-gatel and sick. You believe me, there's nothing evil here. Everyone here, love the same lo, want to protect you,” said Gayatri with a cold body but he tried to hold it. Whatever he would do for Galih to believe.
The man looked at Gayatri, looking at the body of the brother who was soaking wet. “Man in,” he said slowly.
“Iyaa, Babeh wants to bathe Abang, not want to hurt Abang,” Gayatri immediately agree with Galih's words.
The man nodded slowly, making Barkah smile should see the success of Gayatri's efforts.
“Her bath in continuein ya same Babeh. Aya wait for Abang in front. Aya will not go anywhere,” firmly the girl while rubbing Galih's back.
The man nodded slowly, he glanced at Barkah who was standing in the corner, “Mandi..” he said slowly.
“Iya tong, lo I bathe yaa. sorry Babeh because I did not excuse you first. Sorry yes...” The rickshaw solemnly. He immediately approached and rubbed Galih's back and the man grimaced a little.
Gayatri purposely came out of the bathroom and let Barkah continue her work. He wanted to let the father and son get close.
“Lo great!” shaka said as he stared at the soaked Gayatri. He really did not think that the proximity of Gayatri and Galih in the past, can provide a lot of help. Looks like only Gayatri is trusted by Galih.
“Gue tipped bentar, change clothes first.” only that said Gayatri before then passed to change clothes in the next room.
“Bocil who is not a boy, just lo doang Yes,” Shaka muttered with admiration.
