The two men quickly ran towards the registration of the patients as they arrived at the hospital. Concerns have gathered in the crown and demand a definitive answer to the condition of Galih who was rushed to a different hospital. Was the condition so severe that it could not be treated in the hospital before?
“I am a family of Galih Pradana. Can you know where my sister is in care?” ask Gayatri in a hurry. The look of the girl's countenance looked extremely tense, the sweat spots were clearly on her forehead, the rest were running fiercely.
“In a minute, I try to check first,” said the officer who was at the reception.
Gayatri waited in a huff, her hands tapping on the registration table agitatedly. Waiting a few minutes feels like a century.
“Lo calm down first, Galih will not be okay,” said Shaka trying to calm the girl. The snapping of his fingers at the reception desk obviously intimidated the officer to the point of making him nervous.
Gayatri did not chim in, the girl just exhaled her rough breath. Not switching one bit from the front of the receptionist.
“Thank you for waiting, currently the patient is in the action room, Mba can wait in front of the ER room,” explained the officer.
“Good, thank you.” Without waiting for long, Gayatri immediately headed for the ER room, followed the signboard hanging before her, and immediately turned to the left followed by Shaka.
In front of the current ER Gayatri is located. He stood in front of a tightly shut door. His mind was not stopping to guess what the medics were doing to his brother. What action is that man taking? Is Galih trying to kill herself again?
Akh shit! The negative thoughts continued to fill Gayatri's head cavity to make her own bitter. When will that door open? When will he be able to see his brother and make sure that he is in good condition?
“Lo sit first Aya, the doctor will definitely call if you need to meet the family,” Shaka pushed a little shoulder Gayatri and took her to sit in the waiting chair beside the ER door. There were families of other patients who were also waiting and crying for another family.
Gayatri did not protest much, it was impossible for her to argue with Shaka amid the bitterness that was not just hers.
“If you know it will be like this, I will not permit him to go alone with a motorbike. Mending take the bus or angkot,” said one of the women who cried sobbing in the arms of a middle-aged man.
Gayatri's heart grimaced, there seemed to be an accident in the form of an accident that befell the patient's family beside him. Gayatri tried to calm herself down, her cold hands and clasping each other tightly to strengthen herself. It is impossible that a Galih who is being treated in a mental hospital also had an accident?
“Family Galih Pradana?” The voice of a nurse made Gayatri stunned.
“I,” The girl immediately replied and stood up straight.
“Please enter, doctor will convey some things.” The nurse opened the door wider so that Gayatri could enter.
Gayatri nodded politely, she turned to Shaka in the hope that this man would come in. As if understanding, the man nodded and followed Gayatri. In the presence of a doctor at this time Gayatri sat down restlessly. The beautiful doctor in a gray hood smiled slightly at Gayatri. He opened Galih's medical record book.
“Include, I am Nisa, a doctor who treats patients on behalf of Galih Pradana.” The woman introduced herself, making Gayatri nod slowly. “If you can know, how come?” ask the doctor.
“I'm his sister, Gayatri.” Gayatri introduced herself.
“Oh, it looks like yaa's sister, who was called by a patient with Aya?” ask the doctor.
“My sister is looking for me doc?” Gayatri was shocked to hear the doctor's speech.
“Iya, patients continuously call ade name while undergoing action. The patient had poisoning, he vomited violently without knowing the cause, therefore the patient was taken to this hospital for further examination. We think it looks like there is a food substance consumed because of her stomach to experience bleeding when performed ultrasound. We are currently conducting another supporting examination and are waiting for the results.”
“For the patient himself, his condition began to improve after a gastric rinse. Patients had revolted and called ade-name, but now it has begun to calm down.” The doctor in his mid-fifties familiarized his sentence with a line of smiles.
Gayatri nodded in understanding, “Can I see him doc?” Gayatri's worry is not then lost just because hearing the brother is fine.
“Bby, later on accompany nurse yes...”.
“Good Doc, thank you,” Gayatri again nodded politely. She was so grateful to meet her sister.
Not long after, Gayatri was accompanied by a nurse to meet Galih. The man was lying weakly on one of the transit room beds, with the patient's clothes wrapped around his body. His eyes were closed, but he did not seem to be asleep, but was feeling the pain.
“I can approach it, Sus?” permission Gayatri.
“Please,” the nurse let Gayatri get closer to the sister.
Gayatri's steps slowly drew closer to Galih. He was sitting on a folding chair next to the patient's bed.
“Bang, it's me, Aya..” Gayatri's voice was heard whispering softly.
The man opened his eyes quickly, his forehead frowning at the figure of Gayatri under the bright lights of the room. His eyes were pinching trying to recognize the anxious-faced girl who was staring at him fixedly.
“Abang...” Gayatri is approaching soon. "Ssttt... calm down..." Gayatri's voice rattled. He immediately hugged his sister tightly.
“Ayaaaa... go home Ayaa, pulaaaaang!” again the man said, this time sobbing, crying in the arms of Gayatri like a frightened child. His body was shaking.
“Iyaaa we go home. But tell me what's sick? What do you eat?” gayatri asked without letting go of her embrace.
“Aya's home, home! Let's go home!” Galih did not answer his sister's question, only that sentence continued to be said repeatedly to make Gayatri feel sadder. It seems like my brother wants to go home.
Gayatri did not budge, she just hugged Galih tightly and rubbed the man's back. “Abang quiet, I'll take you home if you can calm down. Hem...” persuade Gayatri with her trembling voice.
“Return Ayaa, pulaang,.. come anywayang..” just mutter that which keeps Galih saying. Gayatri until he lifted his head, to dispel his tears so that they dripped.
“Iyaaa, as I said, I will take you home if you can calm down.” Gayatri confirmed his words.
The digress is sulking slowly, with the body no longer in revolt. The man was silent with his weeping. Gayatri laid down the man's body again and rubbed his head fondly.
He saw the face of the elder brother which implied a lot of uneasiness. It was so tight his chest saw his proud man so weak because of his shaken soul.
“Dek, doctor wants to talk for a while,” said the nurse waiting outside.
“Good sus,” timpal Gayatri. The girl did not then move, she grabbed the hand of the brother who was tied next to his bed. “Bang, I'm staying behind ya. I'll be back later,”.
The man did not answer, nor did he try to hold Gayatri's hand. He chose to turn his face away while muttering to go home. Could Gayatri teraka if it seems like Galih was disappointed because Gayatri could not fulfill his wish. With Gayatri's heavy heart leaving Galih, he had to see a doctor for a while.
“Sit down,” said the doctor as Gayatri approached her.
Gayatri immediately sat down in front of the woman who was reading the lab results she had just received. “Her lab results have come out and the results are not too good,” said the doctor with a line of empathetic smiles.
“What kind of doctor do you mean?” Gayatri's voice sounded weak. I don't know what other tests he will be taking.
“From the lab results done, there is an infection in the patient's body. It looks like this happened because of an opening in his stomach for a few days. We're trying to treat the injury so that it doesn't get worse" the doctor explained in understandable language, but gave a cringe
“If you may know, the wound is because of what doc? Did my sister eat wrong?” Gayatri was still not in thought.
“If from a wrong meal, it seems not. Patients eat food provided by the hospital. But from the results of the examination on the vomit fluid, it seems that the patient consumes substances that are high acid. So that it causes his stomach and intestines to become inflamed.”
“How can doc? My sister is her food and drink provided by the hospital, how can she consume such a substance?”
The Gayatri sentence stopped. The mouth that had been opened was suddenly silent when he suspected that there might be someone who gave the substance to his brother?
“Good, let me explain yes.” The doctor said calmly, making Gayatri nod slowly. “Regarding the drug consumed by the patient, we are doing the examination first, because during this time the patient was given the drug in accordance with the prescription. There will likely be a special check for this problem.”
“For a while, the patient will be treated in this hospital and placed in an isolation room. Please allow the family to give consent."
Gayatri pondered for a while, she was still thinking about what had happened to her brother. The thought still had not found its end. Gayatri has not yet made a decision. He chose to leave the room for a moment with a worried feeling.
"What's wrong?" shaka asked, as he looked at Gayatri who suddenly sat down beside him. The girl looked puzzled, her mind was like it was very heavy.
"Gue reckon, now it is Galih who is targeted by that person" Gayatri said with confidence. He was still looking far ahead, thinking about the doctor's speech about the substance Galih consumed.
"You mean?" Shaka looked at Gayatri in an incomprehensible manner. His frowning forehead tried to catch Gayatri's talking intent.
"I got acid poisoning until his stomach and intestines were cut. I don't think it's a hospital omission, but because someone would deliberately want to hurt my brother." Just this time Gayatri turned to Shaka and looked at the man seriously.
"Lo's sure?" a little Shaka came to think about it.
"Yes, I'm sure. I don't know what the mode of that person is, which obviously he also wants to ignore Galih. Either warn me or remove the tracks, one by one. Galih also asked to go home continuously, very scared. I'm afraid he's squirming threats like Rasya's." Whether paranoid or not, Gayatri believes this.
Shaka came to think and it seemed that Gayatri's estimation made sense. "Keep your plan what?"
"Gue wants to take her home. What do you think of Lo?"
