CHAPTER 8 - Tutoring Draco Malfoy
The Arithmancy exam ended and the results of the exam instantly came up so quickly that our answer paper was just collected on the Septima professor's desk
"Congratulations to Mss Hermione Granger and Mss Aurora Rotsfield, you both got the highest marks on the Arithmancy exam this time" Professor Septima said
"Congratulations to you Mione" Aurora said
"Congratulations to you Aurora" said Hermione
"And I deeply regret Mr. Malfoy, Vincent Crabbe and Gregory Goyle, you got the lowest grade in the class, I want you to study harder in Arithmancy" Professor Septima said
"This class is Ridiculous!" said Draco curled his eyes and began packing his books
"Hey don't say that,-" said Aurora
"You too, why didn't you help me earlier" Draco said
"I won't help you with your exams Mr.Malfoy" Aurora replied
"Listen, meet me later in the afternoon at the Courtyard, I'll teach you some easy ways to work on Arithmancy" Aurora continued
"Why not just in your room?" said Draco with a grin
"Well what ?",
"Yeah, I heard you also have your own room - why not just in your room warmer than in the Courtyard" Draco said
"I-I can't take you to sneak into my Dorm Draco, you can get beat up by Hufflepuff's kids",
"Let's see how it is in the library" Aurora continued
"Alright in the Courtyard only", replied Draco resignedly
"Basic Plin-plan" Aurora said with a chuckle
"Hey, I don't really know that!", protested Draco
Today's lesson ends, but not for Aurora who is still struggling with Muggle Lessons with Mrs.Peterson, a Squib who decided to become a Lecturer and mingle with the Muggle community in Oxford
Aurora walked towards the Courtyard, and sitting on a park bench, this afternoon the weather was very windy and the sky was getting dark
"You're 9 minutes and 25 seconds late" said Aurora staring at her watch
"Owh Sorry love, there was a little business with Mudblood Ravenclaw earlier" Draco said walking towards Aurora
"What do you call me?", asked Aurora with a frown
"Nothing" Draco answered and sat to the left of Aurora
"Alright, we're starting to get ok"
"Where should I start?", continued Aurora
"How about how to analyze the name?", Draco replied pointing to one of the sheets in the book that Aurora held
"Ohh this, all right-well first of all is we give each of these alphabets a numeric number from 1 to 9 as in the table here" Aurora said
"Owh yeah, then" said Draco nodding while eating the Sandwich
"Then, the letters a, j, and s have values of 1. b, k, and t have values of 2, and so on" Aurora replied
"Here you understand, right?" asked Aurora
"Yes Madam Rotsfield" Draco said with a smile to Aurora making him chuckle
"Ok, now we go to the example of the problem" said Aurora who was still chuckling
"Have you seen this table, it's all you've got to add up and how many draco's ?",
"58 of course", Draco replied
"Good--- So if the total is more than the usual 9-it must be 'reduced' into a single digit by adding the component numbers together, more than once, if necessary",
"Well thus, 58 is reduced to 13 (5 + 8 \= 13), which is reduced to 4 (1 + 3 \= 4)", Aurora continued
"Well the end result is?", asked Aurora
"4?" draco replied with a look at Aurora's book
"Failure, the end result is 4 and this can be called the character number, this number indicates the general personality of the individual" Aurora said
"You believe that?", asked Draco
"I trust Arithmancy's lessons more than Divination's" Aurora replied
"Do you understand it here?" asked Aurora
"Uh-huh, it is much more enlightened to be with you" Draco said with a grin
Draco took the book and leaned over to Aurora and kissed Aurora on the left cheek
"What are you doing Draco!" said Aurora in surprise and wiped her left cheek
"You deserve it, thankyou", Draco replied with a grin to make Aurora again chuckle at Draco's behavior
"There's a bit of a sauce stain on your lips" Aurora said
"You want to delete it for me?", asked Draco
Then Aurora took her handkerchief and stuck it on Draco's lips, before it touched Draco's lips, she held him back
"Don't do this" Draco said
"Then ?"
"With your lips if possible" Draco said with a grin
"Eww, that's disgusting!" said Aurora, making Draco laugh
"Of course not, it's normal" Draco said
"Owh, so you mean you've done it with other women a lot" said Aurora, whose cheeks had been flushed
"No, never--I'm looking after my first kiss for you Aurora",
"Oh my gosh" said Aurora then stood up from her seat and walked away leaving Draco
"And I am the one who will take your First Kiss Aurora!!", cried Draco making some children in the Courtyard turn towards Draco and Aurora
Aurora quickly held back the embarrassment and widening smile on her face, occasionally chuckling at Draco's ridiculous manner
"Where have you been Aurora?", asked Hannah
"I was with Draco at the Courtyard, teaching him Arithmancy", replied Aurora who had just entered the Common Room
"Good, now that you're helping me, this PTIH job is really excruciating" Hannah said
"Professor Snape really makes PTIH classes the most annoying learning" Justin says
"Well, come here we work together" Aurora replied
"By the way, where's Ernie?", asked Aurora
"He was with Cedric and the rest of the Quidditch members on the ground" replied Justin, who was signed by Aurora
"Aurora, you better get away from that Malfoy" Hannah said
"Eh-- why?", asked Aurora in surprise
"Huh you're this-" hannah sighed
"Try to see around you Aurora" hannah continued
"You mean?", asked Aurora
"It's not my right to say it, but sooner or later you'll find out" Hannah replied, leaving Aurora even more confused
The three of them began working on the PTIH task of Professor Snape, which is to fill 2 parchments about the symptoms of werewolves
Rainstorms began to fall outside, thunderbolts sounded very loud, Common room hufflepuff feels more comfortable at this time, Aurora is still struggling to work on her PR while Hannah and Justin decided not to finish it
The dormitory door opens with Zachariah Smith, Wayne Hopkins and Ernie Macmilan all soaking wet, Zachariah and Wayne going straight to the room while Ernie sits in front of the fireplace in the Common Room
"Erns your clothes are wet, you better get your clothes changed first!, later you can get sick" Aurora said but Ernie did not budge from her position
Aurora looked at Hannah and Justin who were also staring at her, Hannah gestured for Aurora to get her closer to Ernie, who was taken in by Aurora and walked over to the fireplace
Aurora took off her robe and put it on Ernie's body and sat down next to her
"Why do you ignore me Erns?",
"If I'm wrong, please forgive me", Aurora looked at Ernie rubbing her palms together
"What does it have to do with Draco?", asked Aurora again
Ernie sighed softly, water droplets dripping from her blonde hair
"No, you're innocent--- I'm just being. Tired", Ernie answered then looked at Aurora and smiled at her
"Well, if you want to say something, just say-I don't want any secrets between the four of us" Aurora looked at Ernie then looked at justin and hannah
Ernie smiled faintly then nodded slowly.
