Arlyn and Adrian

Arlyn and Adrian
6

"Of!!!"

One of the boys stepped wide towards Arlyn. His body was only as tall as an adult's stomach that both of his thighs were hugged by him.

Arlyn moved her hand. Patting the head of the child hugging his lower body.

"Have you eaten yet?"

The child who hugged his thigh did not respond. The other two children, male and female, shook their heads. Arlyn mutters. "There will be guests visiting the house."

The child whose head was held by Arlyn looked up. "Guests? Grandma Leta?"

Arlyn did not respond. He turned his head. Adrian was out of his car. One hand clasped Arlyn's package of food.

The three children there looked at Adrian in silence.

Adrian felt awkward being looked at like that. Arlyn realized that and scoffed. "You're distracted by three little kids? What do you think I'm gonna feel being stared at by you all the time?"

Adrian hit. He wanted to say something, but held himself back.

Well, Arlyn actually doesn't feel troubled anyway. Adrian can look at him as he wants, and Arlyn will not let herself be distracted.

"You don't want to say hello?" Tegur Arlyn's.

The three children of Arlyn with a moody movement approached Adrian. Stretch their hands. Adrian awkwardly accepted their shaman.

"Let's go in." Ask Arlyn.

The youngest child, who had been hugging Arlyn's thigh, immediately moved his hand squeezing Arlyn's underclothes. Occasionally turning his head back up, peeked at Adrian walking behind him. And two other children.

The biggest is the female. They both glanced at Adrian's lyrics. As if to be aware of the existence of the adult man. Adrian felt a bad feeling.

He's thinking.

Should he go home? Should he give up following his heart?

Adrian would not.

His heart forced him to continue to be near Arlyn. Otherwise, he would just feel uneasy. Making his mind snatched by the existence of the female figure.

He swallowed his saliva.

Whatever happens, Adrian will deal with it.

Arlyn opened the door to her house. Pushing his three children in. Then I turned to Adrian.

"Come in."

Adrian clumsily nodded his small head. "Excuse me.."

The three Arlyn children stood together. They oversee the interaction between Adrian and their Umi.

"Put your things in the room. Change clothes or not, whatever. There's food for you." His order.

The three seemed doubtful. But finally according. They turned away. Made Adrian only two with Arlyn near the door that was closed.

Adrian brought his eyes to look at Arlyn.

Arlyn opens her mouth and takes the plastic bag out of Adrian's hand. "What are you thinking?"

Adrian jumped.

He wants to say something. He wants to ask. Might as well.

But his tongue is stiff. She wonders if Arlyn will protest herself not getting an answer. But Arlyn just breezed away to the kitchen area. Do something on the package in his hand, then come back with the plate. Put the things in his hands on the table.

"Ah."

Arlyn. Adrian focused his attention on the woman.

Which is actually ridiculous because, since the beginning of the eye was never separated from Arlyn.

Arlyn opened her mouth again. "I didn't think you'd visit so I only bought three." He turned his face to Adrian. "Are you hungry?"

Adrian was silent for a moment before shaking his head. "No."

Adrian is not the kind of person who has to eat three meals a day. He had no problem not eating lunch.

Arlyn put on a smile. No need to explain what feelings surround Adrian's chest. "Good then. You sit. We're gonna watch those three kids eat."

Adrian is still not. "You're not eating?"

Adrian saw Arlyn shake. "I don't eat lunch."

Adrian reflex oh noiseless. Unknowingly feeling excited about getting one piece of information about Arlyn.

"Dries. Sit there." Arlyn pointed to one of the chairs surrounding a round dining table with a vase of flowers containing quotations that Adrian did not know what the name was.

Adrian prepares himself to open the conversation. "...You like flowers?"

Arlyn shook her head. "Azel likes flowers. He planted some flower plants in the back."

"Oh."

Adrian looked at the flower in front of him. The flower has white petals.

"Where is Azel?" She asked.

Arlyn. Seeing that his three children are back. Stand four feet from the dining table.

"You sit down." Call her.

They're quiet for a second. Before slowly carrying their bodies sat on the three remaining chairs.

The smallest sat next to Arlyn. The woman sat next to Adrian. Not awkward. But refused to look at Adrian. The other sat between his two brothers.

"It's Adrian. Call him-you want them to call you what?"

Adrian didn't expect Arlyn to ask him. "....Uncle?"

They are Arlyn's children. Adrian thought it was natural they called it that.

"OKAY. You call him uncle. Adrian, this is Abi, Riel, then Azel."

He looked towards Adrian. Azel, the girl sitting next to Adrian, rolled her eyes at the young man. Wanted to see, but hesitated.

"....It's good to see you guys." Adrian said hello awkwardly.

Arlyn moved both of her hands. Put three packs of food in front of the three children on the table.

Azel saw the amount of food that was there lifting his face.

"Mommy doesn't eat?"

Arlyn shook her head. "You eat fast. Don't forget to wash the dishes yourself."

The one named Riel had a shocked face before speaking. "This, isn't this expensive?"

Arlyn nodded immediately. "really. That's why you're gonna have to eat it all out or Adrian's uncle is gonna be pissed." He tilted his head towards Adrian. Giving a sly smile.

The three children nearby gave their views to Adrian. Adrian hesitantly opened his mouth.

"If you like we can buy again." He told. Arlyn nodded in disagreement.

"Buying expensive food is simply throwing away money. I bought this with uncle's money. You guys thank me."

Azel and Riel thanked him slowly. Abi did not open his mouth. I looked at Adrian in silence.

"Fast eat." Arlyn told her three children.

Adrian sees Riel and Azel moving their hands open the food package. Move the contents into the plate. Then start using their spoons and forks.

Riel. "Umi's.. No need to buy this again. I was just messing around."

He's welding. Arlyn grunting. "By looking at their pictures every day?"

Riel lowered her face.

"Don't worry. I'm not using our money. This uncle has a lot of money. Didn't you?"

Adrian sees Arlyn looking at him with her trademark smile.

Adrian felt awkward hearing the sentence being said to him.

"really?"

Riel raised her face. Look at Adrian with a funny face. Adrian gulped it.

"...Yeah.."

Arlyn chuckles. "Now you eat. Show this uncle that you like his food."

Riel excitedly scooped up the food and put it in her mouth. Azel did it more calmly. The smallest, Abi, did not move his hand which he placed on his thigh.

Arlyn tilted her head. "You're not eating?"

Abi bit her lip.

"Eye."

Arlyn silently waited for the boy to continue his sentence.

".....Is Umi going to return us to the parlour?"
