An Asa

As Arka alleged, Mbah Sumi's health was disrupted after the events of the day. It has been three days that Mbah Sumi does not sell, when Asa asked him to seek treatment to the Mbah Sumi health center refused on the grounds that only ordinary dizziness, maybe colds, rest a few days must also be healed. Asa and Arka did not go to school because they were closed by the school, more precisely in suspension because of Asa's actions the other day. Initially, the school had no intention of punishing both of them with severe punishment, just by cleaning the environment around the school was enough, but because of the insistence of Mr. Lurah who continuously did not accept his son to be treated like that finally inevitably the school gave the punishment.

During that time Asa who replaced Mbah Sumi's job selling around, from his village to the neighboring village. Asa first felt how to get around the village turned out to be very tiring, Asa who wore the beetle was exhausted how Si Mbah who walked every day. With the condition of age is no longer young, Si Mbah should be able to rest comfortably at home. Just enjoy the time by getting closer to the Creator, while now the elderly woman is still bothered by Asa and Arka. The corner of Asa's heart was painful, the Mbah banged bones while he was still often absent from the advice of the Grandmother for the matter of prayer.

“Mbah do not ask Asa for a lot of money, Mbah just want Asa diligent worship, especially prayer,” said Mbah Sumi some time ago when Asa said one day want a lot of money to give to Si Mbah.

Asa paused on the side of the road with irrigation and the rice fields that began to turn yellow, he looked up at the sun that was already very high and dazzled his view. Maybe soon there will be the sound of azan zuhur, he looks at the sales basket there are still many cakes left. Confused where else to sell? He did not know the usual places Mbah Sumi came to sell.

Asa who was confused decided to go home, maybe these cakes were indeed their sustenance for lunch and dinner today. Buyers usually do not want to buy when the day is too late. He said it felt changed. But Asa rasa, the same thing, really.

“Assalamualaikum,” Asa greeting when he arrived, he put the beetle to the side of the house.

“Waalaikumsalam ... How about, Bang abis?” todong Archa's. Asa just shook her head, she went in and kept the basket in the kitchen. With a weak movement, Asa sat down.

“Nothing, Bang. Can I eat, later also abis,” chirped Arka with a smile, able to entertain the heart of the brother.

“Which is it, Dek?” Asa walked towards the room of the Mbah, but the grandmother was not there.

“Against, want me anter but Mbah nolak. He said it could be alone,” cried Arka so Asa could hear him. He started to take the lemper cake and eat it. The white pulent with the filling of the abon was delicious.

Asa walked to the back of the house to make sure of her Mbah. However, he saw his Mbah body was already stretched stiff near the bucket well. Asa felt that at that moment her world collapsed, crumbling down on her body that became sick.

“Astagfirullah! Mbaah .... Deck Mbah, Dek,” Asa shouted to Arka, Arka who heard the cry of the brother immediately ran “Ya Allah Mbah why?”

“Udah don't ask much, cepet helpin lift Mbah to dalem!”

“Weight, Bang. Not to lift,” complained Arka when they tried to lift the body of Mbah Sumi.

“Yes you've been here first, wait for Mbah. Brother find help first.” Asa hastened out of the house, the goal is the house of Mr. RT, the closest home from his home. Along the way he chanted a prayer that his Mbah would not be why.

“Waalaikumsalam, what's up, Sa?” ask Mr. RT.

“To-please Mbah me, Sir, Si Mbah passed out. Come, Sir!” Asa stuttered the clear liquid already fertilized in her eye fertilizer.

“Astagfirullah. Come on, kid, we're going there.” Mr. RT closed the door, grabbed Asa's shoulder and took her away.

Half the way they met Mr. Syafei who asked why Asa's face was so anxious and teary, Mr. RT tried to explain and finally Mr. Syafei came to Asa's house to help and see the situation of Mbah Sumi.

Mr. RT and Mr. Syafei lifted the small and frail body of Mbah Sumi who was still unconscious into the house, he then contacted the village midwife to check the condition of Mbah Sumi.

The village midwife immediately checked on Mbah Sumi, and told Mbah Sumi to be taken to the hospital as soon as possible. Mr. RT and the village midwife are very regretful why something like this can happen, why not be taken to the health center, especially Arka told me that Mbahnya has been sick for four days.

“We have no money, Mom,” Asa said innocently, Asa lowered her head trying to hide her sadness and fear. He was confused about what to do, he or his sister were both still small and did not understand anything, and they only lived three there was no other adult who could help when things like this.

“The money can be sought, Asa, the most important is the will and courage. Even now there is health insurance from the government if the cost is a major obstacle, I will briefly call an ambulance.” After saying that the village midwife went out.

Arka had been crying since, she was afraid of anything happening with her Mbahnya. He had no one else but Mbah Sumi, Asa herself actually had the same feeling of fear of abandonment. It was enough that he was just abandoned by his parents, he did not want Mbah Sumi also left him. Will how the fate and also Arka later if Mbah Sumi leaves.

When the ambulance came, Mbah Sumi's body experienced movement. The midwife went back to check on Mbah Sumi's heartbeat and eyes. Then, Mr. Syafei who seemed to understand the condition of Mbah Sumi, began to tell Arka and Asa to chant the words of the creed and call the name of God in the ears of the Mbah, he said, Arka complied with as much as she followed Mr. Syafei's words to lead Mbah Sumi which made everyone in the room panic.

There was still one breath that Asa saw, before the midwife shook her head towards Mr. Syafei. Mr. Syafei came closer and touched the neck of Mbah Sumi, a nod from the midwife into an answer that made Mr. Syafei take a deep breath, patting Asa's shoulder trying to strengthen the child. Mbah Sumi was gone, she left quietly, without a final message and left behind two grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
