Chapter 44

One week later.

For the past three days Tia had not communicated with her lover, Andika had never contacted her, and she was very busy with her work at the Boutique. The time difference also makes it difficult to just contact her lover.

Because it was Sunday, so Tia decided not to go to the Boutique, she wanted to be lazy today.

After breakfast, Gunawan said goodbye to work. Although now his daughter can finance their lives, but Gunawan chose to continue working as a construction lecturer on a project. He does not want to escape his responsibilities as a husband and father.

The two women drove Gunawan to the terrace of his house, the middle-aged man riding his motorcycle left the yard.

After her husband is out of sight, Rita invites her daughter to go inside.

"Mother, since I'm not going to the store today, how about we go shopping." Giving ideas while hugging his mother's arm.

"What do you want to do shopping?" rita asked while stroking the top of her son's head.

Tia seemed to think, she actually did not know what she wanted to shop. But because he was bored he gave the idea to his mother.

"Why daydream?" Rita patted her shoulder slowly, making Tia flinch with her hand holding onto her left chest.

"Mother," he said, awakened from the daydreams.

"What are you shopping for?" Rita asked again because she had not received an answer from Tia.

"Oh, what if we just buy a house." Returning to give the idea of making Rita look at him confused as well as shocked.

"Home," he repeated and Tia nodded confirming. "Darling, are you uncomfortable in your grandmother's house?" Rita looked up at her daughter.

"Mother, no. .. "had not finished the sentence Rita had cut first.

"No." Repeated another strange remark from Tia. 

Tia laughed grimly at the look on her mother's face. The middle-aged woman looked at him even more confusedly.

"Sorry Buk" he said in between his laughter. "I've only learned a little foreign language." Laugh again because you feel funny about yourself. Rita just cringed and shook her head repeatedly looking at her daughter's behavior.

"No it means no Mother" he explained although Rita did not ask.

"You've changed a lot." Rita voiced out, making a smile on Tia's face disappear changed with eyebrows intertwined.

"My mother is still my mother's son and father, nothing has changed from me." Reveal facts that are even known. Now it was Rita's turn to laugh at her son's expression. 

"Darling, you'd better take a shower first, your brain still doesn't seem to be working perfectly." Rita taunts her daughter, making the girl sob her lips annoyed. 

Tia immediately got up and walked to her room, picked up a towel and went to the bathroom.

Rita who is still in the family room continues to smile considering her daughter who grew up to be a great child like now. 

He sometimes felt worship for his daughter, because he could not provide a proper education for Tia. Although the girl never said that she also wanted to go to school, as a parent she knew very well how her daughter felt when people compared her child to a relative who had a high education.

Elsewhere, a sports car was speeding through the city streets. Weekends always make a traffic jam where. 

A girl beside him kept paying attention. Seeking attention even though the man ignored him.

"Why rush like that, it's a weekend, you better enjoy this trip." It sounded so soft, yet it sounded so laughable to Andika.

"Rosa, where are you really going? Didn't you just say you had an appointment with your friend." I sound annoyed at his words. Because of the girl next to him he had to delay the time to approach his lover.

"He canceled our promise Dika." Rosa was still in a soft tone. Makes Andika really upset.

He pulled his car over, staring at the woman who was still sitting quietly beside the wheel. 

"Down.!" He made a sound without looking at Rosa.

"Down? Why?" Rosa asked. He wondered why the man dropped it here.

"Didn't your friend's appointment cancel. That means my job is done, anyway Om Hery just told me to drive you to the restaurant, but since it's not so, you better get down here." Still with a flat tone. Tell the girl beside him to come down in a subtle way.

Rosa clenched her hands furiously. He looked at Andika who was only focused on looking forward, with a heavy heart, Rosa got down from the car. After descending, he closed the car door very hard, making Andika smile thinly because it managed to get the girl out of her car.

Andika drove back her car, leaving Rosa staring with anger at her and her car. Andika even smiled satisfied to have pranked the girl. Actually he did not have the heart, but seeing Rosa's attitude that was always excessive, made him feel restless if lingering in the car together.

Tia's done with the show. Put on her clothes and then move out of the room.

"Mother," she called out slightly shouting as she did not find the middle-aged woman's whereabouts.

After wandering around the house, Tia finally went to the backyard to see her mother. And right, Rita was there, feeding her duck.

"It's done," he said as he looked at Tia who already looked neat. 

"Mother, get ready.! We're going shopping today" said Tia, pulling her mother's hand and they entered the house.

"Are you really going to buy a house?" ask Rita curiously.

"As for mom. Tia's not married yet, so it's up to mom and dad." Tia looked very serious.Did show a warm smile on her face made Rita's eyes glassy.

"Mom get ready, wait here." Finally decided to prepare, before her tears spilled in front of Tia.

"Both Buk." Tia smiled. While waiting for his mother to prepare, he headed for the family room. Tasting the snacks on the small table in the room, his eyes focused on the television screen.

Rita was already in her room, she wiped her tears that had wet her cheeks, feeling so moved to hear her daughter's words earlier. He immediately prepared to accompany his daughter shopping.

I don't know what the boy will buy, Tia has really changed our lives. Inner Rita while continuing to prepare. She tidied a little of her hair. Rushing from the room then immediately approached Tia who was waiting for him outside.

"Come on," he asked in a surprise to Tia but the girl immediately smiled looking at the happy smile from her mother's face.
